He’s an 8th grader, so game…

He’s an 8th grader, so game film is limited to his mom’s IPhone videos from his middle school games.

The coaches are 100%…

The coaches are 100% interested in this guy because he was offered as a freshman.   Local instate guy from River Rouge that would fit in tremendously at Michigan.     I expect Harbaugh and Bellamy to go after him hard.

I also thought Warde should…

I also thought Warde should have put out a National search for a new Head Coach instead of instantly giving it to Tholl.  But I'm not the one paid to make that decision.    With Tholl there, Hutch is still very much in the picture and has constant access to the program.  I was hoping for a fresh approach.  But Tholl paid her dues and now has the chance to lead this program.

Unfortunately it will be…

Unfortunately it will be more of the same until they either sign better power hitters, or develop their hitters better.    Lack of offense has hindered this program for at least 5 years.   Hopefully it was first game jitters, and the bats will warm up.

I've seen Michigan kickers…

I've seen Michigan kickers since the awesomely named Ali Haji-Sheikh.   Jake Moody is easily the best kicker I've seen.  His consistency, his mind set, his ability is second to none.  He'll have an amazing NFL career.

Jim Harbaugh will offer any…

Jim Harbaugh will offer any and all ex-Michigan players sons.  The draw to come here as a non-scholarship walk-on is strong.

Gotta hit the portal now. …

Gotta hit the portal.  CB depth and talent isn't proven now.  Coach Clink has to work some magic now and I trust he can.  He's got connections.

If he truly loved Michigan…

If he truly loved Michigan as he says he does, he wouldn't be doing this after saying this wouldn't be a "yearly thing".  Well, obviously its happening again.    I guarantee the players, parents, and recruits are watching this closely.  Its going to be used against Michigan recruiting......again.

Why are there no Kirby Smart…

Why are there no Kirby Smart to the NFL rumors?   He a proven winner….. you’d think he’d be at the top of a wish list for NFL owners.

This game is so expected. …

This game is so expected.  Georgia’s superior talent overwhelming TCU’s middling talent.    It just goes to show just how dreadful Michigan’s performance was last week.  Is Georgia better than Michigan? Yes.      You just have to shake your head at Michigan’s preparation, play calling, mental status, motivation,…..ect.

Ronnie Bell was a flat out…

Ronnie Bell was a flat out BALLER!.   He gave Michigan everything he had.  You can't ask for more than that.   He will always be beloved around Michigan football.  I wish him all the success in the world in the NFL and beyond.

Oh My God.....lol

Oh My God.....lol

Not cooperating with…

Not cooperating with investigators is totally on brand for Coach Harbaugh.  He doesn’t even cooperate with sideline reporters for a one minute post game interview.

This one just feels really…

This one just feels really weird.   He may go down as one of the biggest “what-ifs” of the Harbaugh era.    He looked to have elite ball skills last year.  The way he high pointed the ball was Braylon Edwards-esque.   He had speed to burn.

Who is he?  The player who looked like a freak of nature against MSU as a freshman or the player who looked lost and uncomfortable as a Sophomore?

We need Harbaugh to come out…

We need Harbaugh to come out today or tomorrow and explicitly state “I am not interested in the NFL, I’m staying at Michigan so don’t even reach out to me!”

He needs to get in front of this NOW.

Out of those guys, I’ll rank…

Out of those guys, I’ll rank who I want back the most in hopes of winning a National Championship next year…

1. Corum.   It’s now obvious the coaches don’t have any faith in CJ Stokes or Tavier Dunlap as legitimate backups.    A 1-2 punch of Corum and Edwards would be lethal again.

2. Zinter.   He’d help solidify a changing offensive line.   His experience is valuable.

3. Kris Jenkins.   You can never have enough quality big bodies on the defensive front.
4. DJ Turner.   He’s as up and down as it gets but he’s far better than any of the backup corners.
5.  Roman Wilson.   He disappeared towards the end of the season, but came up huge against TCU.  Great program guy.
6.  Mike Barrett.   He’s never going to be a superstar, but is a warrior that can lead.  He’s seen it all.

7. Corn Johnson.   An underwhelming season, but had a career day against Ohio State.   I’d like to see him move on so the younger guys can get a real chance.

8. Trevor Keggan.  I love his face paint.  I’ll miss that.
9.  Gemon Green.   Thank you for everything you gave Michigan.

I’m so disappointed in our…

I’m so disappointed in our piss poor running game I want to die.     I thought it was different this year. They weren’t happy just to be there…..they were there to Win!…….yeah so much for that :(

I hate life right now.

Embarrassing, pitiful…

Embarrassing, pitiful performance by the run offense.   How many times did Edwards get stoned at the line of scrimmage?    It was the biggest shock of the game.    No one in the world expected TCU to dominate our offensive line…….but here we are.    Another bowl loss.

Nothing like choking on the…

Nothing like choking on the biggest stage as a big favorite.    The nation watched Harbaugh and his team crap the bed again in the playoffs.  A 1-6 bowl record is an indication that he can’t prepare them in bowl games.

Other than the first play of…

Other than the first play of the game, our award winning offensive line got embarrassed by a smaller unheralded defensive front.    Edwards had NO room to  run.   They got their asses  handed to them.

Mike Sainristil blossoming…

Mike Sainristil blossoming into a integral part of the defense was unsung to me.  Who ever would have expected a small slot receiver to change positions to defense and make such an impact!  Having him back in 2023 is huge.

*Something* happened to…

*Something* happened to Andrel this season.  I was beyond hyped to see him ball out this year after seeing the electric performance against State his Freshman season.  He seemed to have Braylon Edwards-like ball skills and ability and a connection with JJ.    This year, he was truly awful.  He looked confused and hesitant out there.   WHAT HAPPENED?    The book isn't closed on him. He has the physical skills to get it done, but is the mental side there game in and game out?   The good thing is he will have an entire new season in 2023 to make a come back.

It's always an amazing read…

It's always an amazing read checking in with guys who transferred away from Michigan and did  nothing at their next destination.  In my opinion those were examples of recruiting "misses".

The running  back misses are insane.  Christian Turner, Gaige Garcia, Tru Wilson, O'Maury Samuels, Kurt Taylor, Kareem Walker, Kingston Davis, Derrick Green.

Tru gave us some good carries, but the rest....dang

They absolutely wanted Moore…

They absolutely wanted Moore.  There was no "backing off".  It just seemed Moore wanted to get away from Michigan......far far away.  Maybe he has toxic people in his life from Detroit and sees this as his chance to say bye bye.

This kid seems like a normal…

This kid seems like a normal down-to-earth Detroit kid....but man his recruiting is steering waaaaay into the diva territory.  He wants to be "given" the starting job instead of earning it.  Thats some serious BS

Because they are both white?…

Because they are both white?  Or both baseball players?

I'm guessing the athletes…

I'm guessing the athletes will be sitting at  tables and fans will be herded in and out quickly to get their autographs.   There will be no "interacting"     How much you suppose each athlete will be paid for their time?  $100, $200, or is it something crazy like $1000?

The Lions HAVE to go defense…

The Lions HAVE to go defense in the first round.  There's just no question about that.  Draft the best defensive lineman with the first pick, then go secondary with the second pick.

Their offense is still going…

Their offense is still going to be horrific when they play legit defenses.

All will add some depth to the tight end room if his surgically repaired spine allows him to play.

The strange thing about guys…

The strange thing about guys wanting to "play for Deion" is they aren't even old enough to remember him playing in the NFL.  He retired in 2005 when most of these recruits were 1 year old.  After that he was just a talking head on several NFL shows.       The proof will be in wins and loses.  I don't expect Colorado to be very good over the next several years, and by then the Primetime hype train won't be as shiny anymore, and he'll just be "another coach"

Man, young Alex went…

Man, young Alex went Scorched Earth on the football team's poor recruiting class.  I like Alex because he doesn't hold anything back.

Michigan has NEVER been hotter than they are right now.  At least in the era of the Rivals, Scout, 24/7, On3.  Michigan should be able to get into the living room of any 4 and 5 star player they want.  Harbaugh is known around the country.  If not to players, at least the players parents.  He's famous.  The poor recruiting and lack of big time QB's (Other than JJ) is shocking.    Yes, we NEED 5 star talent to keep up with Ohio State, Alabama, and Georgia...    I'm all for using NIL in any way to sway players here.  We just don't want a Texas A&M situation on our hands.  No one should be guaranteed playing time as a freshman.    We have PROVEN coaches, we win, we beat OSU back to back, Ann Arbor is cool....if they get their NIL business in order, there's no telling how great the recruiting can be.

I have no inside info, but I…

I have no inside info, but I went to WMU, and follow the program.  It seems the AD is still new and wants "his guy" running the football program.  He has specific ideas of what a head coach should be, and he don't think Lester was that guy.  Plus the program leveled out and was stale under Lester.    The AD wants to win and he didn't have the confidence Tim Lester was the right leader to make that happen.

Great graphic!   Obviously 2…

Great graphic!   Obviously 2 players dominated in 2021, but it was sack-by-committee in 2022.

This is OUTSTANDING news for…

This is OUTSTANDING news for next year.  He was such a revelation at nickel.  We love his leadership too!

Thanks Mikey!

we're 13-0, so not much to…

we're 13-0, so not much to complain about right?    I think we could use an upgrade at middle linebacker.  Junior Colston didn't make that Sophomore leap this year to elite or even great.  And the jury is still out on Jimmy Rolder.  Can he dominate at this level?  We need a fast, hyper aggressive inside linebacker in the mold of Devin Bush or David Harris.  Dudes that are tackling machines!

Edwards is the most…

Edwards is the most explosive RB we’ve had since A-Train.  His combination of speed, strength, wiggle, and smarts are off the charts.   Throw in his pass catching ability, and holy shit, he’s a Super Back.

If Corum comes back next year, who gets the starting spot?    That’s  a great problem to have

Keep a spy on the QB.  He’s…

Keep a spy on the QB.  He’s a runner.  Any important play is a QB keeper.

Orji will never be starting…

Orji will never be starting QB.  His throwing skills are far below what we need to compete at the highest level.  I've not seen Denegal play, but the coaches offered him for a reason.  Hopefully he's good.

I don't know the player at…

I don't know the player at all, but can he run/is he mobile? A QB that can avoid the rush and make plays with their legs is so important in college football.  I never want to see a Wilton Speight back there again.

I’ll break defensive line…

I’ll break defensive line into two parts: Interior lineman and edge defenders

Interior is 2022 by far.  Mazi is much better, Jenkins has been active, and woo boy Mason Graham has been incredible for a true freshman

Edge definitely goes  to 2021 with Hutch and Ojabo

I haven't rewatched the game…

I haven't rewatched the game, but I've watched Edwards 85 yard TD run at least 20 times.    Things like that just don't happen in The Game.

The greatest feeling in the…

The greatest feeling in the world is watching Michigan beat OSU on the field.  The second best feeling is watching and listening to hard core Buckeye fans absolutely melt down and lose their fricking minds.  This fan base deserves  to be knocked down a few rungs, and suffer like we have suffered.   The flag plant was the icing on the cake.  I hope every Buckeye player and fan died a little bit because of it.

Defensive MVP is Mike…

Defensive MVP is Mike Sainristil, and to think that before the season would be unfathomable. But what he did throughout the season was simply incredible.   Having not played defense at Michigan before and making key play after key play blew my mind.  He as equally good as a run stopper as he was in pass coverage.    I don’t know what his overall stats are, but just the eye test says he’s the most valuable.    It’s critical he comes back next year.     I’ll give runner ups to Mike Morris, and Micheal Bennett.    That’s three Mike’s……..that’s wild!

It’s so fucking beautiful, I…

It’s so fucking beautiful, I’m crying.   He burst through that open gap and was set free.

For you younger guys, that run was Tyrone Wheatley-esque.

Mike Sanristil.    My god,…

Mike Sanristil.    My god, what a find for the defense.    I never would have imagined the difference he could make coming from receiver.  He’s a flat out stud on defense.

Michigan is #3 in America…

Michigan is #3 in America and Harbaugh has a proven record of success and sending guys to the NFL, but we're still taking low ranked "under-the-radar" guys.  It just feels like Michigan is in a position to aim higher.  Yes, I'm a dick about this.

Does anyone know his forty…

Does anyone know his forty time?   We need those burners that run 4.4 seconds or below.  Can he get seperation, and catch contested balls?   That is an area Michigan WR's struggle.

Will Tschetter is the…

Will Tschetter is the whitest looking guy white player I’ve seen at Michigan in a long time.   I’m still trying to figure out what skill set he brings to the table that can help Michigan win Championships.

I’m severely disappointed in…

I’m severely disappointed in Antrel Anthony.   I thought he would have a monster breakout year based on his playmaking ability from last year.

Fact is he has looked god freaking awful.   It’s as big a football mystery as I’ve ever seen.

The offense is going through…

The offense is going through the motions today.   Clearly not their best effort.
