It will start with the Hot takes...
Then there will be the assholes that wants to be smarter than everyone else, that argues that Michigan should have someone better...but not be able to name any realistic candidates that would be better.
Kids should be drafted out of high school, their scholarship paid for by the team that drafted them, and the school should pay for their insurance policy based on where they were drafted.
That way kids could leave whenever they and the team think they are ready, and the school doesn't have to pay the kids.
1. He is a great coach - he has really developed players...in the past.
2. He's had some bad misses in recruiting - I really feel that if we hit on one of the recent big time players we've missed on...would of completely changed the team. We really haven't had an Alpha player since Caris went down...we need an Alpha.

Numbers don't lie...but stats absolutely do.
You can absolutely look at the same numbers, and choose whatever story you want based on the stats that you use.
Stats lie...I do it all the time for my job.
I can't believe they sorted the list by first name!
Not by number of stars! Not by position!...by first name!...that is as useful/interesting as sorting it randomly!
Going through that list really made me want to punch the author in the face.
Even though we don't have "starters" returning...doesn't mean we don't have key rotation players returning who were quasi starters.
Case in point. Smith is our RB starter...even though other RBs carried the load more than him in some games this year.
Our weakness isn't a rotational player stepping up it's the question marks.
I'm worried about.
LT, RT, ILB2, Viper, CB2, Slot, and Safety.

Also, while watching with how big screens are common I don't know why they don't show synchronized pictures for replays for the viewer.

Advice...all rules and ethics around trades need to be well established....and if you veto trades that both teams want...fair or not...the you're an asshole.

There are absolutely flaws in this system (home vs away, margin of victory, teams ranked 150+, the arbitrary nature of a 24th ranked team vs 26th, etc)
When I looked at teams on the bubble I looked at how many top teams did you beat (Top 25), how you did vs. your peers (25-100), and if you lost to any bad teams (100+). I don't think losing to a great team, or beating a horrible team should mean much. I then put a ranking system together that generally matched that.
I'm a bit of a nerd and liked the output of the numbers...hope some of you found it interesting too.
1. I agree that an away victory is harder than a home victory. My thought process was to use a straight point system like the NHL which doesn't reward away victories. Does it matter? Sure. I like the simplistic approach though, as it allows you to know where you stand, and how much a loss/victory means.
2. I thought about this...and landed on a victory visa crappy team (over a hundred) should be worth 1 point.
3. It is hard, and will always be hard for mid-majors. Completely agree.
The fun part of this system, to me, is its simplicity, fairness, and ability to let you know where you stand.
It isn't perfect, for sure, and that wasn't the thought/intention.
Also to note:
1. It is based on final RPI (since it's easy to calculate)
2. Little Rockis in twice (I had to correct the file after I realized I had Louisville in...and mad an error)
3. I only have 64 teams as that's how it should be
4. Temple got bumped by a tournament champ
5. I'm sure it wont be implemented due to me being a guy on the internet, and not a guy in charge of things.
Am I biased? I just get used to having bad refs when we are away...but it always seems like we don't get the 50/50 calls or even the 60/40 calls otherteams do when we are home

Yak is an awesome coach, and Juwan would be smart to pull off keeping him on staff...but Juwan is known as a Defensive coach...same as Yak.
losing Yak would be tough...but he will need an offensive guru, a head coach guru, a recruiting guru...not necessarily a defensive guru.
yak is awesome though, so I’d love it if we kept him.
