MGOPOINTS are about as

MGOPOINTS are about as valuable as Schrute bucks. I couldn't care less.

I will admit what I wrote was

I will admit what I wrote was not the strongest piece of literary material you will ever read. My point is I believe when you go oh god I hope Wisconsin crushes those guys for us that is acting inferior because you couldn't do it yourself. I dont think it would be any different either if we didnt play in the same division as sparty. I still think you would all be singing the same tune. Michigan should never be a school that has to do that.

Thank You. So many people on

Thank You. So many people on this site try to throw their intelligence around in reality they probably sit home on this site all day and gloat to themselves how many mgopoints they have. I come here to read good information about a team I love but occasionaly I see stuff that makes my blood boil and hoping Wisconsin will take care of business of something we could not qualifies. It wouldnt be any different if we were in a seperate division from Sparty you would all still be calling for it.

No they cannot

My friends always go you should worry about Michigan and not osu and that we suck and they don't. They also don't think it won't hurt them in recruiting and that theta three star players that have recently committed are better than our more highly regarded recruits because they are going to osu and now recruiting rankings don't matter. Their snowing their most pride before the fall. Delusional and arrogant as ever. God I hate buckeye fans. GO BLUE!

Former Ohio HS player and still avid fan

I cant think of too many states where the Friday Night Lights are more revered and there is more glory that surronds it. I played for a high school that really had no reputation for being any good but the time I was a senior we had a great team. We had so much support we needed shuttle buses to bring fans to our stadium. It's just established from a young age when your a boy here that Football is special and important. There is so much great competition in this state that it really consumes when you play Ohio High School Football.

Rivalries like McKinley vs. Massillon are as strong as most college rivalries if not stronger. I have attended many McK vs. Massillon games because my former HS head coach coaches Sevon Pittman and McKiney ane there are 20,000 rabid fans at this game every year. Both sides hate each other it is really like nothing I have ever seen before. St. Ignatius vs St. Edward has a similar feel to it in the Cleveland area. I just feel like in Ohio we take the game more seriously than anyone in the Nation besides Texas and I think it is closer than you think.

Cleveland

Cleveland>Detroit. We aren't demolishing areas of our city because no one lives in them, or having Chris Hanson come through with cameras watching people eat racoons and sit in abandon houses. Cleveland. We're Not Detroit.

Roh at LB

We saw the Roh at LB experiment last year. I'm hoping our staff wont try it again. He's to stiff in the hips to be a linebacker he needs to have his hand in the ground rushing the passer. I actually see IMO RVB sliding inside and playing DT if Campbell, Ash or Talbott dont cut it.

Correction

He actually posted an Offensive Lineman on GBW.

Thanks

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered NBA Jam for XBOX. Good looking out for your fellow mgobloggers.

Jay Riemersma

I've been waiting for them to make a jay riemersma t-shirt for years.

Michigan Football is life.

I grew up in Cleveland and I still live there to this day. I have a great family one side despises OSU and one is completely obsessed with the school. So much so my aunt has dogs named scarlet and gracie and it makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth. I have three cousins that were or are currently athletes at tOSU. My mom's side of the family would try to dress me in buckeye gear and take me to the shoe. I didnt like it at all. I didn't know who I wanted to root for but I knew I didn't like Ohio State.

It became clear in 1996 when my dad took me to Ann Arbor when I was 8 years old for the first time for the Michigan vs. Penn State game and from that point forward I knew this my school and my team. My dad never went to Michigan but always loved what the program and the University has stood for. We watched Michigan demolish top 5 Colorado and then watched Charles Woodson clutch that rose between his teeth after putting on one of the greatest performances I've ever seen in my life against the Buckeyes. I have so many memories in that stadium with my father good and bad.

It's so much more than just the team it's the band, it's the big house, it's the winged, it's bo schembechler, being the leaders and the best and having a common love with my Dad. I always tell my friends I dont root for Michigan because I hate Ohio State although I do its because I love Michigan with every fiber of my being. I can't imagaine being a fan of another college football team. I would sacrifice my fan hood of every other sport just to be a Michigan Football fan it surpasses everything in my life besides my friends, family and career.  There is just nothig like it.

GO BLUE! forever

I went through a large case

I went through a large case of Braylon denial too. I must admit it was one of my happiest days when we drafted him. I immediately bought home and away jersey's and annointed him the savior of the fanchise. I spoke way to soon when he was at the UCONN game I didnt applaud and just said he can go fuck himself with that stupid Taliban beard.

I have evidence when on

I have evidence when on Sunday Night Football last year he said Lloyd Carr's Michigan Wolverines. If that isnt turning your back on Rich Rod I dont know what is.

The difference is that

The difference is that Braylon became such a pain and was not playing very good that I was so happy when the Browns tradede him. He can be the Jets headache, which he apparently is becoming.

Braylon is a Douche

He's disgraced Michigan and turned his back on Coach Rod's program. he has  done everything possible to make my hometown Cleveland look bad because he couldn't catch a pass in a Browns uniform to save his life. He then blames it on everyone hating him because he was from Michigan, which is not the case at all. He has no class at all and is a poor reflection on Michigan.

Watching at Home

Living in Ohio makes it hard to go out and enjoy the game due to scum of the earth Buckeye fans.  Plus the Buckeye game falls at the same time as our game. Going to grill out some dogs and drink some beers at the house. Watch Dilithium ruin ND and hopefully watch the U crush the bucknuts.

Buckeye fans can go to hell

Buckeye fans can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. I love Cleveland I hate OSU. I rock my Michigan gear everywhere I go in Ohio.

I was at the game

The dude was being a complete dick and his girlfriend was punching people. The ejection was justified.

I'd like to have the regular

I'd like to have the regular one if possible. My email is [email protected].

Thanks for checking I'm a

Thanks for checking I'm a Browns fan, so I definitely wouldnt want the steelers version. He's my favorite Michigan player of all times. Let me know I would definitely be interesed.

Cleveland

I live in Cleveland and I'm happy as can be never want to leave this place. The people are not miserable here for the most part were proud to be from Cleveland. You can pull up every statistic you would like we may have a bad economy and Lebron stabbed us in the back, we're still living and loving life here in Cleveland. Ohio is a pretty wonderful place except for Ohio State's campus.

Thank You

Well Put JB. I hate Ohio State as much as all of you check that probably more because I deal with it everyday. However I love Ohio and I love Cleveland and will always defend it.

RE:

All I know is that I don't see the national news coming out to Cleveland every chance they get to shed light on how deprived it is. Second of all you have no idea what sports pain is with the pistons, wings and even tigers delivering you championships. Third of all the Lions can suck eternally and it won't ever feel as bad as having your team taken from you even though they did come back. Detroit was tops in when the Poverty Census was taken back in 2005. All I'm saying Cleveland is not as crappy as you think. Both cities are not exactly as top notch cities in the country.

Detroit Sucks

I love how you people rip on Cleveland and Ohio and your the poorest State and City in America. I mean I'm a Michigan fan but you people are way out of line and ridiculous. I know I'll probably get kicked off from making any comments anymore but I dont care. I am proud to be from Cleveland and wont let a bunch of outsiders rip on my city. Our sports fans are about a million times more dedicated than yours will ever be. We still sell out our NFL stadium and have suffered far longer than you ever have. The last time I checked major broadcast networks were not having specials on how poor or shitty Cleveland is that belongs to you Detroit suck it up and deal with it. Once again I know this will send MGOBOARD into a fury against me but I have to stand up for Cleveland.

As mentioned

Vincent Smith isn't the only guy we have back. I completely forgot about Cox. He didn't have any meaningful carries just garbage time, he still has much to prove. I agree putting Hopkins ahead of him is a bit of a stretch though. Im hoping Lewan has a great spring and can take over Ortmann's spot because I have never been to crazy about Dorrestein and putting and LT is a scary thought to me. Our O-Line should give any back that we hand the ball to the chance to be effective this season.

If the Defense

is even halfway decent we should be able to win 8 games with our returning guys on offense. I think our running backs are going to be much better than expected. Fitz, Shaw and Smith should be a formidable backfield with Hopkins contributing in the big back role.

I believe that's all of them.

Blue Lurker

I dont know if your familiar with facebook but when you log on you see what your other friends or saying. I'm friends with Cullen and many other Michigan players and recruits. I have never and never will actually interact with them. I'm sure many Michigan fans are guilty of trying to persuade him to us I am not one of them.

Facebook Recruiting

I would put this in a separate post but I dont have enough points yet. Last night when I checked my facebook I noticed that Cullen Christian was non to pleased with fans stalking him and trying to influence his decision. I completely agree with the kid lay off him he's not going to let complete strangers influence his decision on where he goes to school. I think I can speak for many of us if you have any sense at all that you leave Cullen alone and let him make the decision that his best for him and just lay off.

Bobo

This kid has been a huge disappointment. You would think with all his former teammates from Cass on the team with him that they would all look out for one another. Why can't Boubocar act like the rest of his cass tech teammates on the team.

Devin Gardner

I happened to check out his game last night. I live in the Cleveland area and he was playing state power St. Ignatius that won Division one state title last season. Inkster was beaten pretty badly 47-20 but Gardner had an amazing 71 yard touchdown run.

You got the top two right.

I live in Ohio and Buckeye fans didn't really exist in Northeast Ohio until Tressel won that national title. Now they all bow down to everything that is buckeye. And many Steeler fans were once Browns fans. I find myself having the same dilemma after Sunday's lastest embarassing failure.

The Red Sox have to be higher. I admit I'm a bandwagon Yankees fan however it is a wagon I won't be getting off for a long time.

ND Offense.

I feel like based potential NFL talent that ND might have the best offense in the country. Clausen will certainly be a high pick whenever he decides to leave ND. Floyd in my opinion might be the best receiver in the country and is only a sophomore. Golden Tate has speed that any NFL team would want and is also a first round caliber player. Then you look at Rudolph who isn't a strong blocker but is a great receiver who will only get better as time goes on. Sam Young is also very impressive at tackle and will probably be a first day pick at the draft.

I don't think Michigan will play an offense even close to this for the rest of the year. Penn State has Clark and Royster but they lack downfield threats and their offensive line has struggled to get royster going against lackluster opponents.

Ohio State is very mediocore offensivley. Pryor is not an accurate thrower and the vest doesn't use his god given ability as well as he could. Their highly touted Offensive Line prospects have not panned out and Boom Herron is a very shaky performer in the backfield often jumps around hesitates too much in the hole. Their receiving corps has shown no flashes of a player that can go deep or make a big play. They have a solid possesion guy in sanzenbacher but Deveir Posey has not shown much as of yet. He is supposed to be their big play guy this year.

We played one of the most talented offenses in the nation and we prevailed and in the third quarter looked dominant against them. Our defense is thin but it is talented. With these next two games we can get guys like Turner and Campbell involved and we will be a very good defense and ready to take on the meat of our schedule.

I am very confident in Robinson and our talent to say the least.

GO BLUE!

D-Line

I was very optimistic about the D-Line this year and this article confirmed my beliefs. Way more athletic and higher motors then guys like Jamo, Will and TT last year. Those three guys were solid but I was kind of happy to see them leaving. I really like the one on one matchups Graham creates for the rest of the line I think it will be a huge key in this game. Cant wait for Saturday. BEAT ND!

Same Situation

I have lived in Cleveland my whole life and my whole family is Buckeye fans on my Mom's side of the family. My Dad however who makes all of his money by selling Ohio State merchandise is a die hard Michigan fan. I grew up the first 8 years of my life confused and leaned towards OSU. Until my Dad told me I'm taking you to a Michigan game and I promise you will never root for Ohio State again. When I walked into the Big House for the first time even at 8 years old I knew that I would be a Michigan fan forever. Even with the recent lack of success to OSU. I will never waiver from my Wolverines. After my family and friends Michigan Football is the most important thing to me in my life.

I attend every home game with my Dad and I hate Ohio State with a firey passion. I cant wait till that day that the cream finally rises to the top and we take back this rivalry against those hillbilly assholes. I don't even want to rub it in I just want to be able to walk around in Michigan gear with a swagger around Ohio and Buckeye fans not be able to say anything because we're the leaders and the best.

I also agree with your input about Buckeye fans they did not really exist until after 2002 in the Northeast Ohio area. Most people I knew either rooted for Notre Dame or believe it or not Michigan or were indifferent to College Football. After 2002 my friends had a whole wardrobe of Buckeye garbage. Which isn't bad for me because my family actually profits from it.

Anyways I'm jumping out of my skin waiting for the season to start. GO BLUE! from the worst state ever.
