Pretty sure this was on The Solid Verbal, but in response to a reader question about should they have covered signgate differently, one of the hosts basically said they cater to analytics which said that people wanted to hear about signgate, so they wrote and talked about signgate.
Essentially, whether they cared about it or not, whether they thought it was nothing or not, they focused on it because money, job security, etc.
Part of me wonders if Ryan Day is just going to phone it in now. I mean maybe he has? Could he be feigning devastation and secretly going home to Scrooge McDuck into his pile of gold?
I'm surprised that no one has started a "collapse of the NCAA" wikipedia page yet. I hope Big 12 adds UConn and Gonzaga. Then B1G, B12, SEC, and ACC can just GTFU and poof - NCAA becomes a historical footnote.
Based on this and this, those individual schools and colleges ultimately answer to President Ono. So regardless of who needs to enact these changes, it seems like the president of the university should be able to exert quite a bit of "I scratch your back..." influence.
In addition to wanting to avoid further injury, it could be that he and the coaching staff did not feel he'd be recovered enough to contribute significantly on Jan 31.

I watched and listened to Argentina score two great goals. Had The Game on in split screen on FuboTV. Did not switch audio until Makari Paige interception.

Did he just tell JJ, the OCs and the whole offense to just put that sh* away and intentionally miss on almost every deep pass?? Was it all to beat Ohio? Yesterday. In Columbus.

I have an OTA antenna + Tablo for local channels and Sling Blue + Orange ($50/mo). I'm adding the sports pack to get BTN (+$15/mo) from September to April.
I got the Tablo before I got Sling. If you go with Sling, you should probably go with airtv for the integration, but I have no experience with their devices.
Versus YTTV, I like the ability to turn off BTN when I don't want it. YTTV has the local channels built in though. No need for an antenna and separate device. YTTV also has unlimited DVR storage.
Edit: Is there any way we can maybe get a sticky for cord cutting? This topic seems to come up about once a week during football season (no offense intended, OP).

I went with Sling for the free trial, but to get both channels (including ESPN/2/3 and FS1) and more than one stream at a time, I had to get both Blue and Orange. I pay $50/mo. I would have to pay an extra $15/mo for BTN. I also have the Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ package. Can confirm this is NOT regular ESPN. But ESPN+ does give access to NHL games this season, so that’s been sweet.
One can probably also get through the bowl season by cycling through free trials, but that is a little painful. I did this for a while for M MBB games.
