What that is, right there, is an antiquated way of building a team. Sanders has been very clear about what his approach is, and it's just different. He's a better prospect than those stats suggest and I would bank that Naurato knows best on this one. Stein was a member of the 2021 US WJC team that won gold (this was the team with York, Beniers, and Brisson). He didn't play in the tournament, but being on that team means something. Most likely a bridge goalie for the prospects coming in, but someone who will be able to make an impact.

I have done a bracket every year for 30+ years and know a decent amount. You don’t need me to tell you how we differ in the bracket standings. Downed the two little bottles of prep, consumed just clear liquids, done.
The huge problem for ESPN and the ACC on this is that FSU is a Florida public institution. And Florida public institutions have very specific obligations when it comes to what’s known as “sunshine law”. Prediction: this by argument by ESPN/ACC will actually end up being the undoing of the whole GoR, as it aplies to FSU, and ESPN/ACC were baited into it by FSU.
