My friend was going to school at marquette in milluakee (i know its spelled wrong) and he was not planning to go to the game but I like to go to games whenever I can, so when he got in the car to go to dinner, I drove him to Madison.
We got loaded and lost our tickets so we went to the ticket taker with $40 folded up about the size of the ticket and got in the game. Ticket takers were more fun then. I got into the michigan vs boston college game in boston this way also but have not had much luck recently with this method.
Anyway we both wore michigan hats and sweat shirts which was even funnier because I am 6' 180 and my buddy was 6'2 240. He had to wear my clothes it was so f*&n cold. I had on 2 pairs of long underwear, jeans and sweat pants. People in the section we sat in hollered "wrong game" at us for a while but then we broke out the jack we brought to the game and everyone was cool.
As you can imagine, we woke up in a strangers living room sleeping on couches. Then we hopped in the car and drive back to milluakee (i know damit).

If the great weis hope can win with some one elses players in his first 2 years why can RR lose with some one elses?

I am confused who will want the michigan job after RR gets the boot after year 2 that could possibly be better than RR. GERG Schiano from the football powerhouse Rutgers turned down the job, as did the 1 year on 4 year off genius from Iowa. LES MILES turned down the job independent of RR
Michigan did not win a BCS bowl game since 2000 and a Rose Bowl since 1998. WVU won BSC bowl games in 2006, 2007. If the loss to app state did not tell you, the program has been in decline for some time.
RR was one of the best coaches in the country at WVU and still is. Did he suddenly forget how to coach??
No. The depth and number of players changed when he changed programs.
Sit down, relax and admit the problems run deeper that just changing coaches. If RR can turn WVU in to a team that kicks the ass of the georgias and choklahomas, then I am willing to wait several years to return to greatness.

Tate will remain as the starter and Drob the change up. As much as Drob has a strong arm, can throw deep and run between the tackles (who are not ramshackle), he is a turn over machine when he puts the ball in the air. 3 ints in 15 passes. Tate has 4 ints in 138 attempts.
Much of Tates lack of production is turnovers by team mates inside the 20. Stonum fumbled last week at the 10 and minor near the 20 and mathews inside the 20. Tate makes mistakes but marches the team down the field late in the game and gets 0 points due to a turnover and suddenly "can't get it done". If one of these three events did not happen michigan is likely 5-1.
The long term solution is get molk back and reduce turnovers. This team is very close to winning a high percentage of games but is not efficient enough to overcome late game turnovers.
The defense gave up 20 points in regular time. That is less than against the other BCS opponents we played. It would have been even less if the offense generated anything. Sure the LBs missed several plays and can improve. However the D generated 3 turnovers and gave the O plenty of opportunity.
I think we had negative rushing yardage going into the 4th quarter and Oline was dominated all day.
We can't expect to win away with 6 points after 55 minutes. This game falls right in line with our recent history of 1st away games.
Chalk it up as experience and if the Oline plays better the boys can still win in Iowa Shitty.
If you watch the ticker it routinely contains incorrect info. Last week the BTN listed Brown as Brown MSU in the list of leading rushers of the week. They must have people handling the day to day production that don't really know football. It is not the first time I noticed the ticker was wrong. Last season I saw several other errors
