Big moment for me.

Thanks for reading.

Note

I do not actually want anyone to tattoo Jim Brandstatter's face onto anyone else's face.

If this was

If this was between 2005-2009, I know exactly which guy that was.

MOLE GUY

YES. North Campus, 2005-2007ish. I saw him EVERYWHERE and all I could think was "someone MUST have said something about that to him, right? He knows its there, he just has to." I came to believe that he was just supremely confident and I could take a lesson from him.

This is the least bad I've ever felt after a loss

I just wish there were a way to tell these players just how proud of them I am.

If I'm ever

asked to explain "Michigan fans" using one example, this comment will be it.

No lie

That's a great two-part episode. Poor Dorothy.

Well

1.) I'm overly emotional/anxious about Michigan sports.

2.) I'm female. So.

I won't lie

I cried. I was so overwhelmed from preparing myself to handle a brutal loss (Wisconsin, Indiana) that when that didn't happen, when we actually WON a game like that, I just broke down.

Then I watched Sportscenter for three hours just to get highlights.

I have a problem.

I have

Never been so happy in my entire sports-watching life.

"Screw Mudville. Let's do this."

That will be my epitaph. Excellent, excellent, dusty-room-making work as always, Brian. I hadn't had a chance to read your Iowa wrap-up, and just seeing the photo of Denard running into the tunnel... well, it's... it's very moist here in DC.

Seriously, I feel weirdly blessed to be experiencing two very likable teams (basketball and football) over the past 2-3 years. From Denard to Zach Novak to Mike Martin to Stu Douglass to Junior Hemingway's impassioned Sugar Bowl acceptance speech to Mitch "Big Puppy or, against VCU, The Wolf" McGary, Burke, Stauskas, Devin Gardner, Funchess, and Taylor Lewan - it's a good time to be a Michigan fan. Really.

That said, I'll be a total wreck tonight.

Meijer

Yep, that's the one I meant. I live in DC now, a Meijer-less zone.

Meijer

Seriously, that exchance was more fun than I've had with Meijer since I went to the 24 hour one at like, 3 AM on a Thursday for no apparent reason.

by far

the happiest moment of my life. taking down "TOUCHDOWN MANNINGHAM" from the position it's held for six years. good lord. to the seniors: i can never thank you enough for everything you've done. from an alum to (almost) another, thank you.

Funny story.
You mentioned
Funny story. You mentioned Robbie Schoenhoft (UM and OSU recruit, now at Delaware). I went to high school with his high-school girlfriend, and met him at prom. He was, indeed, huge. He went to St. Xavier, I went to Ursuline, Cincinnati high schools ftw.
Hmm I agree, to a degree. I think the Illinois game was a sign of things to come (possibly) for OSU- they had absolutely nothing doing against that center rush from the QB. I know working with Pryor should improve that, but I honestly think that there might be somewhat of a dropoff. Anyone have thoughts on PSU for this year? Will they be the class of the Big 10 again? I haven't looked into their team enough (except with the recent McDonald business).
