Most depressing part was when Spielman flat out said "this doesn't look like a Michigan team I know." People can bash him all they want, but he knows what he's talking about. OSU's gonna beat us by 50
First time poster as well. I've been a supporter of Hoke since day one, but it's becoming more and more apparent that the only thing Hoke has done is bring Michigan arrogance back.
This team acts like it can show up anywhere and beat anybody because "We're Michigan." I've never seen a team talk more and do less. When we lose/barely win, all the coaches and players talk about is how it shouldn't have happened because "We're Michigan." Taylor Lewan talks about toughness, expectations, championships ect...but all he does is act like a punk on the field and nearly get himself thrown out of the game. Players simply repeat what the coaches throw at them, and it's clear Hoke spends his time telling the players how great they are because they play for Michigan.
All this talk of past greatness gives the current team a false sense of entitlement. What has this team, or any team under hoke, won?? A Sugar Bowl against a terrible VT team that we were lucky to beat. A 6 point win over the worst OSU team in a generation. We frankly were two plays away from going 6-6 last year.
The worst part is idk who we can get to replace Hoke. Harbaugh is never coming back unless we pay him 10 mil a year, and even then it's a stretch. Miles is too old/shady. It's hard to see us going outside the Michigan family after the RR debacle. Short story long, we're fucked if Hoke can't turn it around.
