Hey Tim, great job. regarding the 10 incoming recruits. were they recruited as D1 players or Varsity Club players? in other words, how long ago did the coaches know the move up to D1 was a done deal? were they able to use that as ammo on the recruiting trail or did these 10 know just as much as we did?
I'm fairly confident Tate could run Harbaugh's offense at a high level. Denard could be our Percy Harvin. Like this year, I don't think the offense would be the problem. Harbaugh would HAVE to work some recruiting magic in order to start bringing in elite defensive talent.
What difference does it make how high your opponent is ranked when it comes to keeping kickoffs inbounds? Basic aspects of the game that seem impossible for us. A division 1 player shouldn't be kicking 2 out of his last 3 kicks out of bounds. Its simply inexcusable.
I actually bought hockey regional tickets in Bridgeport, CT on Stubhub 2 years ago (when we lost to Air Force). After I had completed my purchase and paid for the tickets, Stubhub notified me that the seller couldn't provide the tickets. True to their policy, Stubhub found comparable tickets (same section, a few rows closer) and sold them to me for the same price. I believe the seller who backed out was responsible for paying the difference between the tickets I initially bought and the tickets I ended up with.
maybe this could be the game we finally break out the white jerseys/white pants that we wore back in the mid '70's. There was a lot of speculation we were going to wear them last year vs. Iowa but that never happened. I'm of the belief that it's only a matter of time before they make an appearance.
