No worries at all. It is an interesting analysis to see players who left their home states. The Indiana players are especially intriguing to me since IU and Purdue both missed the NIT this year.

This is sort of a misleading title. This rule change should not have much of an effect on hurry up offenses. The fastest offenses still take 18 seconds between each play. This would have them snapping at around the 22 second mark on the play clock.

In former Michigan hockey player news, Jacob Trouba had two goals tonight, including the game winner in OT. It would have been great to see him still at Michigan this year, but I'm glad he's having success in the NHL.

I'll give them $10 if I am allowed to yell at the owners for not being financially and logistically prepared to move locations.
You know, since they did the same thing to customers who weren't prepared to order food.

He resigned from Mizzou at the end of last season because his offense performed poorly.
He ended up at Wazzou with Mike Leach as an inside receivers coach.

To the people suggesting Scot Loeffler, look at what he's done since he left Michigan in 2007. His offense this year is worse than Borges'. For real.

I don't think the vocal mob is indicative of the overall board readership. I think most lurkers want to stay-the-course, but the self-moderation feature most lurkers used to contribute their viewpoint is now gone.
And I would wager that # of lurkers > # of posters.

Some summary stats of the plays in this thread so far:
65% pass vs. 32% run vs. 3% punt.
If pass, 70% deep vs. 30% short (screens included in short).
If pass, 45% play action vs. 55% no play action (or play action not indicated).
Looks like most want to chuck it deep to get some breathing room for running the ball.
EDIT: This was through russale2012's post.

The combination of terrible officiating and Nagelvoort going in for Racine made this tie feel like a win.
Nagelvoort looked really good in limited action. Great save on the penalty shot.

This person asked a simple question, and he/she needs a legitimate answer, yet most of the responses are weak attempts at jokes and some of them border on being downright rude.
I cannot wait for a moderation system to come back.
I, unfortunately, do not know the answer to your question as I have only sat in the student section, and the student section stands the entire game.

That Jake Ryan play is exhibit A of why I don't want him to rush back into action. I would much rather have a 100% Jake Ryan next year rather than bringing him back at less than 100% for the end of this season. I am probably in the minority about this though.

|43 weeks 2 days ago||I know I'm on a Michigan||
I know I'm on a Michigan blog, but the bias in this thread is ridiculous. If Devin keeps up this pace, he should absolutely go to the NFL after this season. Think about this:
1) Devin already has his degree. This will not keep him in Ann Arbor. I know he loves his teammates and the University, but with Gallon, Lewan and Schofield all graduating, he might feel it is his time to go as well (although I hope not).
2) If he stays healthy, he will have 17 (hopefully 18) starts under his belt. Now that our offense mirrors many current NFL offenses, he will have enough experience to warrant being a first round pick.
3) His physical tools are phenomenal. Tall, mobile, accurate. He needs to work on footwork and arm strength, but those can be improved through hard work. He has the genetics needed to be a star QB.
4) His mental tools are also outstanding. Devin is a really bright guy. He already has command of the playbook, and I believe he has free reign to audible when he wants. There might not be much more for him to learn with another year going against defenses like Akron and Indiana.
If Devin's draft stock is high enough, he should strike while the iron is hot. We've seen what can happen when you stay that extra year after having a great one (Leinart lost millions when he passed up leaving to take ballroom dancing; Matt Barkley and Landry Jones come to mind as recent QBs who stayed one year too long). I would love nothing more to get another year of Devin Gardner, but I'm preparing for him to leave after this year. And I will be very happy for him if he finds himself in that situation.
