Sam Adams makes a good maple pecan porter (not sure of availability). If you ever make it out to Denver, Denver Beer Co makes a kick-ass Graham Cracker Porter (medaled at GABF). Mountain Sun Brewery does a killer Java Porter as well.
Hah!
I graduated med school from there last year. Finals were brutal, but the MD at the end is definitely worth it.
I always thought that if we had a sports team, the fighting helices would be the best mascot ever
If you have access to Breckenridge beers, I highly recommend the small batch 471 double IPA. I just went to their tasting room last week and it was delicious off the tap ($3 for a pint too).
The only thing that I can think of is that Shanahan knows he messed up the Weber thing and is trying to get come continuity in punishments. Hagelin got 3 for elbow to the head, Shaw gets 3 for elbow to the head. IMO, Shaw's elbowing was a lot more severe, and it was on a goalie (See Lucic vs. Miller earlier this year). I'm not too surprised he got 3 games, even though it still sucks.
Again, I'll reserve judgement until I see what Asham gets. He's been thugging it up all series and THAT is the worst play of the playoffs so far.
I'm pretty sure Shanahan has a dice with 0-5 on it and just rolls it for each hearing. For Asham, he's probably going to use 2 dice.
For the whole keeping the best player available, should be interesting if Backstrom gets anything for his match penalty last night. While it wasn't with the same force as Asham's crosscheck to the face, it was the same move.
Also, while Shaw doesn't have the starpower name that other Blackhawks have, he has been one of the more effective players over the second half of the season and is a crucial part of our checking line. Him not being in for pretty much the rest of the series worries me greatly (yes I'm a hawks fan).
We're the same way in terms of eating healthy. The diet pretty much limits carbs as much as possible and get most of your calories with protein. Regardless, doing any kind of exercise for an hour 6 days a week will see results, even if you have a 6 pack and a cheeseburger with fries every night.
Me too man. Got my wedding coming up in a month and a half and my fiance and I are about halfway through. Are you doing the diet too?? As soon as I saw that it wasn't compatible with drinking i nixed that idea.
I love how the first 4 comments are on the assistant coach, rather than McGary. Congrats to him...hopefully the beginning of multiple invites to national teams.
On another note, If my name was Mike Jones, I would definitely go by Michael, or at least Mikey. The whole Mike Jones thing is so overused.
Every single time I've gone to Chipotle I ask them to mix it up. I sometimes get a dirty look, but it's better than having a cold cheese bite right after a 100% rice bite.
I think the image of Terelle Pryor, or any other football player, dressed in khaki cargo shorts, hiking boots, an olive colored shirt, and a hat is hilarious. I see him wandering around a forest with a map and compass, wondering which berries and mushrooms are edible and which are poisonous. He needs to stop at a tree to look for moss to help him reorient after he can't read the 4 directions on the compass and tries to throw rocks to smash little animals for food. Knowing his accuracy, the animals are plenty safe.
As funny as this sounds, I think (hope) there is a serious question buried here. I remember reading on TomVH's chat a day or 2 ago that about 300 recruits are placed on the watch list, so about 1/2 of them actually make the top 150.
It's a 6.2% american pale ale made with Citra hops. 3 Floyds is brewed in Indiana and is pretty regional. This one is really rare and they only brew it when the hops become available. If you happen to be lucky enough to get your hands on it, cherish it. It wasn't even on shelves at my liquor store; you had to ask the manager to go in back and grab a 6 pack. 3 Floyds has a pretty strong presence in Chicago, but this beer was a bitch to find. Kind of along the line of Hopslam in terms of people seeking it out.
In the grand scheme of college related tattoos, that's one of the better done tats I've seen. I can't imagine how ridiculous a wolverine tattoo would look if it was done in the same skill and detail as Hill's.
I couldn't agree more with the Union Jack. If you get the chance, you have to try Firestone's Double Jack, a 9.5% Imperial IPA. It's unreal...took silver at this years GABF.
I like the size of this kid. Elite speed is great, but judging by this year, all you need to do is position your body well and be able to get up higher than the DB.
If you're looking for good places to eat in Evanston Buffalo Joe's has incredible wings. Not quite the variety of BWW in terms of sauces, but the wings are like 2x the size and the hot sauce is phenomenal. Get a double order with a side of cheddar chips (waffle fries) and you won't be able to walk out of the restaurant you'll be so full.

The fact that we are playing them again is horror enough. I cringe every time I hear or see replays of that game (which was the first game of my senior year). I am dreading media coverage in the months leading up the the game rehashing everything that happened.
Between him and Steve Elmer, it's great knowing that we are already making strides for what look like to be two of the top 2013 OL recruits. I'm sure Shane Morris approves.
I am very excited to see this football team in 3-4 years.
Texas A&M's actions are kind of like going on Jerry Springer to tell someone you're cheating. In A&M's case, everyone in the world knew that something was fishy weeks ago. Now they're just admitting it publically to the Big 12. HUGE SHOCKER!

Nice work softball! Thanks for the updates.

I actually just saw a billboard ad for Rome on CBSSports TV. At least ESPN finally wised up.
This is hardly a calling out. It sounds a lot more like a Dave Brandon pimp slap.

I'm assuming he purchased a dictaphone just for MGoBlog, although the auto-spell on Beilein or Smotrycz must be a bitch to deal with.
Zombie Dust is delicious. Got 2 cases from 3 Floyds brewery last weekend and I plan on heavily depleting my stash this weekend.

I saw this on hot clicks on SI today, didn't have enough points to post it. That being said, glad it showed up!

I, for one, will be losing my voice cheering for Michigan up in Evanston. There should be a good wolverine presence at that game.
I heard posbang and couldn't resist the good feelings!

I think I'm getting carpal tunnel from pressing F5 so much today. I can't imagine how Ace feels right now.
GO BLUE YOUNG MEN!
The offseason?

Almost as cool as a doublepost bro

Enjoying a few Boulder Beer Mojo IPAs with some Indian food right now...trying to unify my drink/food combo.
Or you could look at the author underneath the diary title

I saw the word "pounded" and said "well played, sir"
Then I read the second sentence, and really? I think the acronym is DOUCHE
Wow man wow...Very suspicious thoughts, let alone devoting a post on saturday night to this?
