Oliver Luck?

Has anyone considered Oliver Luck as a potential AD candidate? His track record as an AD is great, and I'm guessing Harbaugh would have a fairly good personal relationship with him already.

The Seattle Times issues somewhat of a redaction

The Seattle Times issued somewhat of a redaction last night at 8:45pm offering an entirely different angle than the original article Ace referred to as the "Bombshell Report".  Here's the link to the new article: http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seahawks/prosecutor-seahawks-draft-p…

It seems that the same Seattle Times reporter subsequently interviewed the prosecutor in the case, and she paints a very different, more redeeming picture of Frank Clark.  The prosecuter wouldn't provide much in the way of details, citing confidentiality, but she did seem to suggest that responsibility for the altercation was equally on the part of both Clark and his girlfriend, Diamond Hurt.  Maybe the most compellilng piece in the article was that Hurt’s mother “had nothing bad to say” about Clark when interviewed by the prosecutor.  The prosecutor also seems satisfied that Clark willingly and successfully completed a lengthy 25-week educational counseling program, and she was convinced that he would not be a repeat offender.

I don't condone domestic violence in anyway, but I also think that every situation has a unique set of circumstances, so we can't draw any conclusions without knowing the full context.

Tony Gonzalez

It's been done before.  Former NFL TE Tony Gonzalez played both basketball and football at Cal from 1994-1997. He even made it to the Sweet 16.  I think he would finsh with football and start playing basketball a month into the season.

If not for that phantom foul call on Mcgary If not for that phantom foul call on Mcgary, Michigan would have possessed the ball with 24 sec left and a 1pt lead. They could have been the ones to seal the game with free throws instead of Arizona. The refs clearly changed the outcome of this game.
oversigning could explain the SEC's inflated stats

I would think that oversigning could at least in part explain the inflated stats for the SEC in terms of recruiting.  I mean Georgia (32), Texas A&M (32), Florida (30), and Ole Miss (28) all have larger recruiting classes than any other team in the country, and even the SEC teams with the 5th and 6th most recruits, LSU (27) and Alabama (25), are on par with Michigan (27) and Nebraska (26), the teams with the highest number of recruits in the B1G.  Isn’t oversigning a large factor in why the SEC has such large numbers of recruits every year?
