Holy crap I can post again. This process demonstrated exactly what's been wrong with Michigan - the thinking is too inside the box. In this case, it was more important to get someone who understands the school and culture than getting the best coaching candidate. I mean, yes we don't want to duplicate RR's mistakes (killed me that he treated the OSU and MSU games like any other game) but come on. This process was tainted with hindsight bias. |

Most reasonable post I've see. Again, I don't see why we're all assuming that it was Les Miles who rejected Michigan. Maybe after in-person meetings Brandon decided to move on to another candidate, which will hopefully be imminently announced for the sake of my mental and physical health. |
