Per google maps, trotwood has a great stadium. I believe they are playing at Kings Mills because of ESPN. This is game 1 of a doubleheader featuring Gilman & Moeller. Despite having a spacious campus with top of the line facilities, Moeller doesn't have a big on campus stadium.

Howland's schedule is decent, but nothing to write home about. He wont be playing against many other teams with D1 prospects. If you're comparing that to school like Massilon Washington or St Ignatius, the schedule is weak.  

Just a quick disclaimer... Howland didn't play the toughest schedule last season. While the Youngstown-Warren area is loaded with talent and great teams, Howland doesn't necessrilly see those teams on their schedule. No disrespect, just stating the facts as I'm happy to see a fellow Howland Tiger heading to Ann Arbor.

** Howland plays in the same conference as Liberty, the school that gave us Fitz Toussaint. So once again..not saying he's not awesome..just saying his competition doesnt come close to rivaling what guys like Joe Bolden and Tom Strobel played against.

It's March 6th. Calm down Braylon. It's not unheard of for a soon to be high school senior to show up a camp, bust his ass and show the coaches what they might not be seeing in film. If Berkley is sporting Big Ten offers on August 1st then we can talk. . . or donate $20 million to buy out the remainder of the Adidas contract and have the entire MGoBlogesphere pounding on Coach Hoke's door. Just sayin' 

Did we ever find out what happened with Anthony Standifer? Mutual seperation? Also, has he committed anywhere yet?

Temple will be a bottom dweller in football without a doubt. Louisville, Cincinnati, Rutgers tend to be much much better than Akron, Kent & Ohio University. They just don't have the facilities to match up, and the fans generally don't care to head to South Philly to watch their games. With any luck, maybe they will capitalize on Penn State's misfortunes and keep kids in the city, but I seriously doubt it. They couldn't do it in 1998, what makes anyone think they can do it now?

Miami U in Ohio has a terrible facility.  One picture should do the trick...

I'd love to see the breakdown....every year we see kids making decision regarding X,Y & Z univeristy because they have a good engingeering, business, journalism, pre-med etc program; How many of those kids actually end up in those desired majors? 

You're 100% right. All of Howland's talent does come from Warren.  Funny how they start scheuduling Harding in sports other than soccer once they opened enrollment. . . .

I imagine St. Eds doesn't want to risk scrimmaging any team they could face before the state finals.Glenville, Ignatius and Y'town Mooney are scheduled opponents. Mentor, Mentor Lake Catholic, Massilon, McKinley, Glen Oak, Brunswick, Warren Harding and Solon are potential playoff foes. No one else in the area would probably be formidable competition.

Wasnt it stated that Les Miles is giving a speech in Dallas tomorrow at the coaches convention? If it's a done deal he's flying to Ann Arbor tomorrow after his prior engagement in Dallas. Announcement would come Wednesday @ 1230 presser...

Not sure why everyone chooses to ignore the 48 year old FCS head coach who has 5 National championship appearences (albeit at FCS and D2/3). He's also put a few D1 transfers into the NFL (Flacco), and wouldnt have a problem incorporating current Mich players into his offense. He seems just as qualified, if not more than Brady Hoke. He's a more realistc option than someone like Gary Patterson or Tacopants.

I also think Keeler would be a great fit. He runs the spread and is very well respected. I grew up in the Youngstown area when Tressel was punting babies for National Titles in 1-AA and Keeler's "aura" in the Philly area (I live here now) is similar.

I believe he signed a contract extension that has him @ Deleware until 2019, but I'm too lazy too google. Either way, Michigan should easily be able to triple his salary.

I don't think the purpose of this post was to whine and complain about the ass-beating Wisky gave us. The purpose was to highlight how a Big Ten coach, and former Big Ten player ordered one of his guys to execute a dangerous chop block. 

Rather than attacking other board member, take your criticism to Dennis Dodd and Rivals; ask them if it's true.

And c'mon son. If Rich Rod was ordering his players to committ personal fouls, you would have heard about it 20,001 times. The only reason this post even popped up was because Bielema seemingly owned up to it. 

I'm a Michigan fan, born and raised in Ohio. For 6 consecutive years I had my birthday ruined by Michigan losses. . . I'd like to start of new steak of depressed Buckeye fans on Thanksgiving weekend. 

Didn't see it, but it's hard to believe a player would "mock" a prayer of all things. But I'm irritated after this loss so...

The offense putting up big points keeps the crowd behind the defense.  Right now those seemingly 184923498234 freshman starting on defense need confidence more than anything. Seems like our defensive performance is a slippery slope...maybe the big house crowd can provide some traction.

Sparty appears to have the ability to play to every Michigan weakness. While they certainly don't have the dominant running game of say an Alabama, they definitely have the ability to both pound (#) and dash (-) to the outside. The pass game isn't the greatest either...but they'll surely look like All-Americans against our johnson 'no more tears' shampoo defense. Plus Chappell supplied the entire Big Ten with more than enough game film on how to exploit us. 

I think the deciding factors for next week are health (denard, mike shaw, banks), the home crowd. 

Completely off topic...however Cudi is in Bowling Green tonight. 

Tried to find it last week. Couldn't find the game on I heart Radio or CBS Radio. 

BG-SU!

I'm a BG (not brandon graham) alum and am looking forward to my alma mater getting spanked (dont tease) by my favorite team. Yeah, I know I should be loyal to the place responsible for my 20k in student loans, but if BG plays in the Pizza Bowl: Pumped. If Michigan plays in the Pizza bowl: Fuck.
