I thought Alabama Shakes did a tremendous cover of Adam Raised a Cain at the MusiCares tribute to Bruce Springsteen back in 2013....but, I happen to like the original.
I was gifted some UofM boxers and didn't realize until I went to put them on for the first time that the waistband had a bunch of West Virginia logos on it. And yes, this was during the RichRod years and beginning of the Beilein era.
I initially liked PSVue for channel selection and price, but the guide flat out sucked and I ended up having some streaming issues. I switched to YouTubeTV and have loved it. No streaming issues on any of my devices. I was able to tune into the ND game with ease Saturday to check scores while at a concert.
I live in New Albany, but will make sure to make it down to E-Ville soon to check out your place! I'm assuming that all UofM games will be shown at said place of business?
Houndmouth is and will be just fine without Katie. I just saw them for the 10th time a week and a half ago and they were better than ever. I'm actually pretty excited to hear what they come out with next. They've been touring with some guest keyboard players and two fellas playing saxaphone, and it sounds amazing.
As for other "newish" bands:
The Districts
Dawes
J Roddy Walston & The Business
Deer Tick
Delta Spirit
Matthew Logan Vasquez (solo artist who is also the lead singer of Delta Spirit)
I've been to plenty of games @ Memorial Stadium (mostly UofM games) and have had plenty of fun in that "piece of shit" as you so eloquently put it. You can get a really good seat for far less than at the Big House and the Tailgating Fields across 17th st are awesome! The stadium itself isn't all that great, but it is a basketball school afterall.
Indiana fans LOVE TO PARTY! Hell, most of them don't even go into the stadium to watch the game, but they'll show up 4-6 hours before kickoff to grill out, drink and have fun.
I was at the double OT thriller last year and nearly 60%-70% of the stadium was filled with Maize & Blue.

So, you're saying he can coach from the Goodyear Blimp? Folding makes perfect sense now. ;)
Best Bourbon for the $$: Old Forrester 100
My Favorite: Old Forrester 1920 (so smooth and 115 proof)
Overhyped: Pappy (no booze is worth $2000-$3000)
Arc & Evacuation are much much worse
Agreed. Every time it comes on, it feels like tiny elves are drilling holes in my temple.

I happen to like Fat Bottom Girls. And the song is great as well.
In The Evening, South Bound Saurez, Fool in the Rain, All My Love & I'm Gonna Crawl are all wonderful!
Not a big fan of Carouselambra, or Hot Dog (which seems like a funny jab at country music at the time).

Oh, get off your own lawn. It's a joke. Welcome to the internet....
I'll be driving up from the Lousiville, KY area, meeting some fellow UM fans from Flint.
If anyone's interested, the IU ticket office is selling GA tickets for $35 including fees:

The fans are friendly and the tailgating fields across 17th street are always a good time.

Living right across the river from Louisville, KY, I really hope he returns for that game. Oh, how I hate UofL basketball....

I live in Southern Indiana and recommend the tailgating fields south of the stadium. Great place to park, hangout and tailgate.
For an easy exit, head south to 3rd street, then head east to Hwy 46 to get back to I-65.
GO BLUE!
tell me that's a Houndmouth/Penitentiary reference.

if you like Wheeler Walker Jr, you should check out Birdcloud.

I read EGD's typed out, unwritten rules, and can sum it up in four words: "Get Off My Lawn!"
