just what the Pistons need: a third string center. Joe Dumars was replaced by a mean ol' alien a few years back you guys.

This is much better than his Tommy Bahama look.

I got the autographed Red Berenson jersey at the Coaches Tour last year.
|1 week 1 day ago||Think of it like the CHL draft||
They aren't just drafting based on talent, but also on likelyhood the player will sign. A player could have the talent to be a high draft pick, but if education or another sport is a higher priority to them they could not get drafted at all.
|1 week 6 days ago||I wonder||
I wonder what they threatened Bosch with to get him to start talking? This guy was denying everything, now he's singing like a bird.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||I could see MSU adding||
The reason why I could see MSU adding lacrosse, is because they had a program before. The Spartans had varsity lacrosse but lost their program in 1997 in compliance with Title XI.
It could start to gain ground in EL, and we all know how Mark Hollis feels when Michigan does something nice.

|2 weeks 1 day ago||I'm curious||
It's a big If, but if the conference is willing to add a partial member, what about Johns Hopkins hockey?
The biggest issue for expansion so far has been rural areas like Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Nebraska not having a rink that can be used for D1 hockey. Now that we add a school in a bigger city, if they can find a rink that will take them they won't need $88 million dollars to start a program. Kind of like DePaul having D-1 basketball that plays at Allstate.

He got him right under the glove, it was the right call.

He's a very good speaker. I always enjoy listening to what he has to say.
|3 weeks 6 hours ago||Let's see who will being the energy||
From seeing the Mayers shenanigans this morning, you can tell the Hawks are going the extra mile to try and get into the Wings heads.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||I was there||
I was at the game last night, I had some pretty good seats.
|3 weeks 4 days ago||This is just too easy||
Quenneville is making this too easy for the Wings. Babcock has a great gameplan, and the Hawks won't adjust. They just keep trying to play their game.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Good idea||
By trying to make it relevant, it will make itself irrelevant. No one wants to see the 10th best player at his position playing in the Pro Bowl because everyone else backed out.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Jason White||
Jason White was a Heisman winner, All-American, Davy O'Brien, Player of the Year, Unitas Golden Arm, and won the Maxwell. He was not even considered as a UFA.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Glen Rice Jr||
I haven't heard Glen Rice Jr's name in a long time. We didn't recruit him until it was too late, but thank goodness he didn't come to Michigan. What a disaster.
|4 weeks 2 hours ago||Genius||
Even if you're not a fan of the Wings, watching them execute a Box+1 is nothing short of great hockey. Even when they have so much talent on offense, if you can take away the player who the offense flows though the wheels fall off.

All four of those players played defense, killed penalties and forechecked. AJ is a scorer, that's it. Typically a scorer will not have the vocal leadership qualities that a defensive minded player has and it was brought up that AJ was more of quiet, lead by example type of captain.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Leadership was huge||
We all know that leadership was a problem, they just didn't have the bounce back that teams had in the past after something bad happened. Before AJ, when was the last time we had a pure scorer wearing the C?
|4 weeks 2 days ago||He's correct||
EMU played two FCS schools in 2011, Howard and Alabama State. That's the reason why even at 6-6, they were not eligible for a bowl game.

|4 weeks 5 days ago||You didn't||
The Wings didn't have the money because they gave 73 million dollars to Zetterberg and 43 million to Franzen in 2009, 46 million to Datsyuk the year before.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Sellout?||
You let him go, it's not his fault your team didn't have the money to pay him.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Rutledge||
I'm not even positive Red is coming back after next year. It would be very difficult for Rutledge to commit to Red, leave and then come back to a new coaching staff.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||Come on Wings||
I have two Blackhawks tickets for the 2nd round, Game 5 sitting in the first row. I really want to see them play the Wings.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||I like it||
I'll be at both games in Madison.
|6 weeks 8 hours ago||Maybe||
I'm on my phone right now, so I can't be sure. Check the ISS rankings alongside the THN rankings, and see if THN is listing European skaters as well. I thought ISS only listed North America on their last draft ranking.
|6 weeks 1 day ago||Take off your red tinted glasses||
He jumped and he made contact with his head, that's a direct violation of rule 42.1
Every time something happens to one of your players, you homers show up in full force whining about how everyone is against you. There is no conspiracy against the Red Wings. The league isn't plotting against your team, the commissioner doesn't hate you. I've never seen so much complaining about a borderline AHL player getting suspended before. Grow up.
|6 weeks 4 days ago||He's really picked his game up||
Coming into this year he was stil struggling with consistency. Bruce Boudreau made it a point to talk about how he was going to use him as a weapon, and he's having one of the best overall seasons of his career.

Taylor Martinez worked with Steve Calhoun.
