What are you

Talking about?

This is real

I play in a league on that app, you move the line 14 points during the regular season and pick four games a week, then during the playoff eventually it goes down a bit but the only week it's Against the real spread is the super bowl. I (and my friends) only missed something like 7 games this year and a couple guys in my league only missed 2 or 3. Perfect season is really tough obviously but obviously doable.

Those accolades don't mean anything.

Serviceable is actually a very good way to describe him.

You really don't know why

People are negging you?

Worse team?

Classic. How do you justify that? Perhaps the psu common opponent?

Of course

It's very possible a 1 loss Mich, Clemson or Bama could get in. People are acting like there's an endless number of teams competing for the 4 spots. Theres 6 prime contenders and then perhaps a 2nd tier contender like Wisky, Wvu or Auburn could grab a spot if they win out.

I think

They watched the wrong tape.

Yes I would dispute that

I love JP but he is not the most outstanding player in college football. Im not at all sure he's the best player on our defense.

i really

can't stand posts like this.  Really exhibits no conception of finances in general and certainly athletes' finances.

Redshirts

Mbem Bosse and Kemp, at least, played against Rutgers.

Because

They're not nearly as good in our opinion. I can't fathom anyone preferring the white over the maize and yet some of you do.

I follow the epl fairly closely

I've been telling friends it would be something akin to Purdue winning the college football national title. Great story, really hope they do it.

Wow

People are up voting you for this...man this fanbase sucks....

I haven't watched any

portion of the performance but I'm sure I'd side with the band. People need to get over themselves, laugh at themselves a little.

That said the reason I logged to to comment is that I am appalled at those condemning Stanford and their students. What a bunch of bad kids, all they did was absolutely slay it in high school and do everything right to get into possibly the best school in the country. For shame. Use of words like "elite" and referring to them as "rich kids" is absolutely shameful and frankly completely embarrassing if coming from Michigan grads. Nothing worse than envy. I have no connection to Stanford whatsoever but if somehow someway any one of my kids are able to go there when they get older I would be absolutely thrilled.

No. Everything they did was

No. Everything they did was reasonable.

Why not

Just type "SEC", much quicker.

I've been several times over the years

The first time was 97, one of the most enjoyable games of my life. We've leaving from NYC on Friday, may stop at the casino in Bethelem on the way. Usually hotels are a huge issue, have always had to stay at least 40 mins away but this year I booked early, it must have been at least 9 months ago, and I scored what must have been a mistake rate, $90 a night 2 night minimum at the Hampton inn right in happy valley.

We got seats through athletic department upper level endzone, so we sold those on stub hub and got 35/40 yd line seats, last row of lower level, about 180 a pop. If you're going to go you might as well get good seats.

Last time I went was when RR made Mcgloin look like a superstar, hope it goes better this time.

Freeze?

It's going to be about 50.

Cmon man

going out with cheerleaders

How about

You know, the games? You guys are so funny.

wow

that is huge.

people suck

How does one get to be a Sunderland fan?

unless you're from that area?

Of course your point is right, Chelsea fans, of which I am one (admittedly a recent addition, just started following the EPL last few years), are spoiled.  On the other hand, and for those who may not be so familiar with whats going on, it would be somewhat akin to the Seattle Seahawks having THE worst defense in the NFL this year.  Its really impossible to understand how their defense got this bad this quickly.  And well Ivanovic is a disaster.

I generally don't like calling

People bad fans and I certainly wouldn't here, I've been to less than 10 UM hockey games in my life. That said....90 minutes round trip really?

Isn't it really that people just don't care that much? All these folks including yourself who would pack Yost apparently don't care enough to make it to the Joe. I suspect you would have made that drive for basketball.

MSU is a prime example

Of what?

I don't think this suggests

I don't think this suggests anything, but we're not getting Costello.

Russell did not have better

Russell did not have better college numbers than Manning. He had one huge season. He also really only played 2 years.

That is completely wrong

No offense but are you drunk? Or did you just make that up?

In return for the #2 pick in that draft they gave up the # 6 pick in that draft, a second rounder in that draft, and their first rounders in the next 2 drafts which turned out to be picks #23 and #2.

This guy isn't Jackie

This guy isn't Jackie Robinson. And saying you hope this becomes a trend? Why? How would that benefit you and/or Michigan? What would it do? Extend recruiting season into the summer, ie screw coaches, waste money, result in lower tier guys not knowing if they have a spot, delay walkons from knowing their situation. The benefits? Maybe a couple hundred kids have more flexibility and maybe a few of those change their minds for reasons other than that the wind blew a different direction on a given day. While we're at it I think we should let kids already in school freely transfer. Coaches will know their actual roster on the first day of practice when they see who shows up.

man oh man

Belichek comes off as Jim Harbaugh, a lot of you guys still really want "great guy" Brady Hoke

Sorry

Why is this a bad thing? It's great for the kid. The smart thing to do would be to commit somewhere now and "lock" up a spot. Then assuming the school doesn't go back on its word (a big if) he's got a free education even if ends up not otherwise being any good. If they do drop him later he'll be in no worse position than if had never committed. And if things go well and he gets other offers in the years to come he can always reconsider his choice. OR he (ie his parents) can just ignore the whole thing. What's the problem?

who knows, could easily be

who knows, could easily be him Mom pushed him into it.  shame

Some of

You guys are so freaking sensitive. They've been doing it this way forever.

So

What?

The interface is not good

But They have Beaver......./s. Sam is good though obviously.

You realize

You don't know what you don't know right?

I'm not saying

That Twitter and/or the digital age is a good thing. As someone addicted to my phone (for work and personal reasons). I acknowledge as a real problem. But to deny its power and pervasiveness (which you seem to have done in the first post and are coming off of in the 2nd post and just saying you don't like it) is silly.

But you're still really wrong about Twitter to the point that I question whether you've spent any real time with it. For one thing you keep focusing on the 140 character thing, ignoring that writers link to their articles constantly. Twitter is an alert system and a portal.

Says the

Guy who insults people about what they spend 100 bucks a year. Unreal

Yes

as Magnus said if you're a casual fan mgoblog is fine. Some people want more than that.

Exactly

Well done

If are very mistaken about the speed

With which info makes its way over here.

Beyond that you seem to be saying that you don't really value recruiting info, well then sure, you should pay for it. Obviously people have different interests.

You are

Incredibly wrong on this topic.

Pickard

not surprisingly there's starting to be crystal balls for him to Syracuse.

you left out

Griese, Backus, Hutch, Adami and Howard, thats 5 O starters right there.  Only 4 of the 11 O starters were from the Big 10 states.  Fyi Tuman was from Kansas and Shaw Cali I believe.

The D was more Big 10 state oriented.  Hendricks, Hall, Josh Williams and Dhani were from outside.  So half the starters were from outside the Big 10 area.  Most of those guys played in the pros too btw.

I can't believe this post

I can't believe this post isn't being negged into oblivion. Is ND worth a premium over Michigan? Are you fn kidding me.

This isn't coming from Blanks

Or at least not only. It's coming from the kids only Twitter account and other sources. It's real. Whether or not it amounts to anything, I would guess no, but who knows.

or stressing how to tell

or stressing how to tell family and friends trying to push him to UM no.  just saying.

when you put it like that its

when you put it like that its really sad that we somehow find ourselves on the outside looking in at the moment.   That said its not over yet, thats clear, notwithstanding who Teddy Blanks may or may not be.

hmmm yeah no one said that.

hmmm yeah no one said that.

I'm sure I'm missing

I'm sure I'm missing something but I didn't see how that was either funny or a response to deflategate.
