|1 week 1 day ago||Spot on||
And to take it one step further, someone could just as easily "assure" their spot in the same method. Silly words and their root definitions.
|13 weeks 3 days ago||Sweet mother of mercy||
You've got to warn someone before you just spring that on them. I was momentarily terrified of my monitor.
|15 weeks 3 days ago||Yup.||
It's as clear as Harbaugh picking the Raiders.
|15 weeks 3 days ago||I was totally on team Dhani||
It was awesome that you could watch this guy on tv laying someone out and a day or two later see him at a poetry jam on campus. Proximity bias speaking here but that dude was the pinnacle of student athlete, mostly because he was better than you at both.
But while we are recalling that year, I'd just like to pour one out for Daydrion Taylor who ended two careers in one instant:

Eisen even admited he was insufferable and it was glorious. Eisen is as true Blue as they come and you could tell he was having a hard time staying on point so he just turned all points to Harbaugh.

It is not the iOS version that is causing the problem. I have not yet updated to iOS 8.x but I am having the same issue.

The only otters welcome here right now are Henri and these guys:

This post as a thematic response to the OP was the first Michgan related item that has made me laugh since the ND game. I suppose I needed that.
|36 weeks 1 day ago||Purely speculating||
But I bet it is reasonably likely that the person handling the UM Alumni twitter account graduated in the Denard era. Perhaps they never even saw Henne play. I'd imagine it is an accidental slip up and not a shot at Henne. I am not excusing the mistake, but I think its probably innocuous.
When viewed in that light, approximately 93% of us on the blog can now return to lamenting how old we feel...

They'll be showing the replay on the ACC Network's greatest games...

I vividly remember sitting in the office and getting a call from my mom which is a rare enough event when I'm at work to indicate that something is wrong. I answered the call and she was choked up on the other end and simply said "He's gone." About that same instant, I started getting texts and emails coming out of the woodwork from people expressing shock, sadness, etc.
It took me a minute and a few hanging questions to find out that it was Bo passing and not my dad. Honestly, I'm not sure which one would have surprised me more.
Regardless, the moment hit pretty hard and I ended up taking the rest of the day off to sort of wander around aimlessly. I managed to stop the aimless wander and return to work in the following days but I'm not sure our football program ever has.
Actually, I'm not sure I've ever fully recovered from that weekend either.

I've been fortunate enough to see a lot of games in that stadium and I don't think I've ever heard a noise like the crowd reaction after Brabbs hit the winner. Especially because that was pre-construction of the new boxes in the old quiet stadium days. I'm willing to bet Washtenaw County registered an earthquake that day if someone can find the seismograph print out.
|39 weeks 3 days ago||An excellent, OT, sub-thread||
Just to pile on with everyone else, both the Shaaras are fantastic writers. Jeff did an admirable job picking up where his father left off. He really came into his own with the two book set on the American Revolution (Rise to Rebellion and The Glorious Cause). If you read no more Shaara than that, at least read those two.
He is now in the middle of writing a set on the Civil War western theatre and they are quite good as well.
Also, Michael Shaara wote For the Love of the Game which is a fantastic story that Kelly Preston tried to massacre on the big screen.
Fun fact, you can get signed first editions each time Jeff releases a new book direct from his website. See jeffshaara.com

I suspect it was hyperbole but I think the author meant to imply that the five starters form together as one in a giant, Voltron-esque punctuation mark that may or may not be effective in protecting the quarterback or turning our running game loose. Its a bold strategy, but we just won't know until we've seen it on the field.
|41 weeks 1 day ago||FTFY||
Mike Gundy - he's A man!!

Dave had a pretty good year in 2013 too, winning the barn door trophy in the Transpac.

The club is a very nice facility and it is relatively easy to get to if you have a car (or a friend with a car). The club members are great and you can have some fantastic experiences there. The best part is you don't even need to be a student or an alum to join the club.

You do, however, have to be a curent student to join the team.

It is less than a month since articles were circulating that Cuonzo Martin was on the hot seat and probably going to be fired. The presumptive replacement: Bruce Pearl...
Edit: as always, I should read the whole thread before I reply...

And then just head back to play defense. The ball had barely left his hands and he knew the result. Everyone else was left waiting.

because I didn't read far enough and you beat me to that comparison by about an hour. You nailed it. Sorry for the sub-reply above. I certainly don't want to steal your thunder.

1. Mary Ann
2. Jaclyn Smith
3. Lafyette Coney Island
If for any of these categories you choose the other option, I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong...

We've always known this to be true.
- ND remains consistently overrated
- West Point should be higher
- omission of Navy is a glaring error
- MSU seems appropriately in the 5-8 range
- Does Hawaii get credit for Temptation too (since you can't have one...)?

This is a no Free Press zone too...

Himself. I'd expect he will continue to act as OC/QB coach since that's what he has done in the past. He is something of a QB guru so this should be a good thing.

Somehow I knew you were going to say it was Dan.
Definitely sailed with Beanstalk, KT, EP and ther rest. Didn't you guys live ovewr on Packard I'm living in Chicago and I actually still run into EP KT and Dino on occsaion. Hell, I even ran into Dan's dad a few times this year out on the water.
Didn't you guys live on Packard?
|1 year 20 weeks ago||Total agreement||
I am completely on board with what you are saying. The Game is an awesome rivalry, BCS bowl games are all a spectacle, various pro playoff games are great atmosphere, but the pomp and circumstance surrounding Army-Navy is like nothing else I've ever attended. March On is worth the price of admission, even without the football.
And for those trying to watch at home, CBS Sports will be televising March On starting at noon Eastern on Saturday.
