6 days 10 hours ago	my impression	That was my impression of him all along that he's a competitor and that will be the difference.  I just have a low opinion of Twitter so when I see a guy who's about to go to UM and become a star QB and possible NFL QB I get worried that he's a slacker.  Problem is that when I think back to my summer before Freshman year at UM, all I did was drink beer all day and night on Walloon Lake.

6 days 11 hours ago	Morris and Twitter	A Buckeye friend of mine (I know, but yeah) told me that Morris is not a serious threat to be a great QB at UM because he's unfocused...witness his addiction to Twitter.  So for the last couple of weeks I've followed him on Twitter (he's my second follow after Jon Stewart) and I gotta say that I'm concerned because he seems to be on Twitter 24/7...posting nonsense.  I've stopped following him because it was too depressing...I hope my impression of him is wrong since I kind of agree with my Buckeye friend now.
1 year 18 weeks ago	Sr 5 star with good coaching	I'm hoping that the combo of Hoke/Mattison/Montgomery with more confidence/experience will get him to the level he needs to on for Michigan to have a good year in 2012.  I think his impact or lack thereof will be the difference between a good season and another great one.
1 year 18 weeks ago	Agreed	Loved the FB podcasts in Fall 2011 and think the guys could do a Hoops podcast.  I'd like to hear them talk about the hockey team too...both once per fortnight (love that Brit term).
1 year 31 weeks ago	AA Pioneer	Tailgate at AA Pioneer, then drive over (using a DD of course) to EL just before the game starts.  It's the only way to be truly safe from the burning couches and drunk MSU freshmen vomit. ED: thanks mods for un-"flamebaiting" my post...I posted with "fun" in my heart!! Why "flamebait" again?  :-(
1 year 31 weeks ago	Sparty Noooooo	M will be able to score 3 TDs on the MSU defense while MSU will move the ball a little on the M defense but only score 10 to 14 points.  Book it. This "scouting" reads like a veiled swipe a all things M IME, while trying to sell us on how GREAT all MSU players are.  Cunningham may be a good college receiver but he'll not be drafted before the 6th round.

1 year 34 weeks ago	Denard	The problem is the routes the WRs are being asked to run aren't helping Denard get into a rhythm.  The long, over the middle passes are tough for Tom Brady, let alone Denard.  I want to see more bubble screens, hitches 6-7 yards down the field and those fake QB draw, throw the ridiculously open pass plays (that play is probably available 3 or 4 times per game). I'm still hopeful though and to be honest, Koger had a bad game today.
1 year 36 weeks ago	Somewhat early?	Yikes!  I'd rather fly under the radar this year than get this type of press. Sparty has already counted the game against UM in the win column and I'd like to keep it that way...until after the game of course when they've found that they've lost.

Ace you were nervous but did a fine job anyway.  Relax and have fun...your job is all about fun anyway.  Maybe you'll be the straight guy to Brian's cut-up character...you had a little of that going on. Looking forward to more of these...WIN OR LOSE!!

1 year 37 weeks ago	Ughhhh	The Michigan Man stuff is sooooo old and useless, I agree with you.  I never listen to sports radio, but since game day is coming I'm just fired up so I listened to it...geeze what fluff, those people are the douchebags.  Hoke probably holds his nose while talking to them. I knew there'd be nothing of value from the interview, but I listened anyway...geeze I'm sick.
2 years 4 weeks ago	Edwards fail	Loved Braylon when he was a Wolverine player, not happy with his history since leaving UM.  His "Lloyd Carr's Michigan" statements, DUIs and lousy attitude in the NFL have left a bad taste in my mouth.
2 years 4 weeks ago	Datsyuk = best player in NHL	Geeze what a player...he, along with Ovechkin, are the most fun to watch in the NHL.  We are lucky he's on our favorite team.  Need Zett back soon though as PD can't do it all every game. Would it not be great to get a sweep over the Coydogs?
2 years 9 weeks ago	Work	Boss scheduled an all-rep meeting (via web) at 1 pm today; found out about it last week, lobbied for change on Monday but failed miserably.  I mightn't have gone anyway as the 200 section of the "cablebox" (Time Warner Cable Arena) is truly nosebleed territory.  I've got the DVR set so I'll be watching late this evening, unless the wife allows me an earlier viewing.  Geeze, I gotta get my pants back.

2 years 11 weeks ago	Mom is a big problem	Unfortunately, his mother's role with him was/is a big issue.  "...people want to put their hands on the prize."  WTF is that?  She also said in the past that when Michigan ended its commitment to Amaker, then "their" commitment to Michigan was also ended.  That's likely her decision, not his and was a bad one.  When you hear someone talking about a movie being made about their lives (or their son's) you know there is something off...I mean, my life has been interesting too, but no movie will be made about it to my knowlege.
