|6 days 18 hours ago||Thanks for that||
I remember it wasn't great for a db, and people knocked him for it at the time. He measurable weren't great though compared to Peppers, and his combine results weren't amazing either. The narrative on him was "he's too small, has maturity issues, didn't stand out physically and no natural position...but he makes plays" Peppers only "knock" is he played out of position and lack of interceptions (while playing lb)
|6 days 23 hours ago||He wasn't||
a great cover guy, he was good in zone though. He had a knack for being in the right place. He is only 5'8 so he couldnt succeed as a corner in the NFL, and he doesn't have elite speed. i think he ran a 4.6 at the combine.
Jabrill is a better athlete, much more mature (remember TM was kicked out of school)..but it's hard to measure if he has the same natural ability to be in the right place, right time...as they played 2 different positions.
|1 week 20 hours ago||Trey||
is a minus defender and can't create his own shot in the NBA. Walton may not have an NBA career, because I don't know if he's great at anything but Trey's success or lack thereof isn't a solid indicator of Walton's abilities.

!!! This is hilarious. Great thing is my wife loves Harbaugh and his penchant for winning so she's all for Harbaughisms in the house when we have kids!

affordable tickets f-in SUCK! Living in DC I was hoping for at least $75 seats, but this is an outrage.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||I think every fan feels that way||
like Patriots fans with 2 super bowl losses, Alabama with the Auburn fg return...then this years nation al Championship...they can probably rattle off 10 in the last 20 or so years.
But remember 05 Penn State, Notre Dame with Tate, UTL 1 and 2..But also remember Iowa 16, OSU 16, and FSU 16...sigh and MSU 15,..
|4 weeks 20 hours ago||they are ok||
but i'd prefer the actual 31s with the color fade from front to back. That's what made them unique.
|5 weeks 1 day ago||also warmer weather||
because of global warming or something completely unrelated means there are more winter activities outdoors
|5 weeks 1 day ago||People care less||
I never cared about basketball more than when the football team sucked. Team is good now, basketball is less interesting. I didn't miss 1 snap of football the last 2 years, and I haven't watched an entire basketball game in that time.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||But it's different for||
a quarterback. An above average qb wins or loses games.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Miami||
since Marino...pretty bad too.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||I agree.||
I'm anti-Finebaum on everything. I have noticed though in the last couple years that more and more high school coaches are speaking up in defense of their students. Ultimately it may be good for more coaches to band together and enforce a higher standard for those recruiting their players.
|5 weeks 6 days ago||He is paying it over 5 years||
at 10k per year in the form of a PJ Fleck scholarship.
They retain the right to use it in merch for this seasons gear though.
|6 weeks 20 hours ago||Obligatory||
|6 weeks 4 days ago||Wilson though||
had nothing to lose at Indiana by throwing on 4th down against M or OSU.
Meyer has a tendency to bottle up the offense against better teams.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||OSU didnt get throttled by Bama||
They got humiliated by Clemson.
|6 weeks 5 days ago||lol..||
so college food tastes like college food? Well gosh, I hope they don't show that on the recruiting visits.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||I'm not a fan||
but if I was we'd have to get together since you're in NoVa. I defintiely watch them though. I'll be honest, I was so happy Zeke was out of Columbus I was ready to root for anyone who drafted him. I would love to see Peppers with them. He could be a difference maker on a defense that is solid but lacks playmakers. And as long as Cousins is with the Redskins, I will always root against them. Redskin tears are even more delicious than Sparty tears believe it or not.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||I dont think it's no love...||
I think there are a lot of really good defenders this year. And 2 or 3 corners who have better size (read: height) He's still a top 5 corner, but there might only be 4 corners taken in the first round and a half...because there are SO many good DL.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||On the link Brian posted,||
someone had Peppers drop to 32...and the Patriots. Yes please.
Love to see Wormley or Taco and/or Lewis with the Steelers
Also would think Peppers would be a HUGE star with the Cowboys.
Note: I have no NFL affiliation. Just tend to root for Michigan players.
|6 weeks 6 days ago||yeah man||
come on..that;s a bit much. You know women can be sensitive about their weight. You should never call a woman fat.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||After reading the||
assessment of Lewis, it rings true. There were times his receiver seemed open, only to see him close incredibly. His amazing pick was an accurate throw from being a 90+ yards touchdown in a 14-7 game. I think he'll be an above average corner once he is able to recognize routes. NFL wr's and qb's are going to move a slight bit faster and his closign speed might not be as effective until he adds at least that to his repertoire.
|7 weeks 4 days ago||I wonder if||
Harbaugh does that as well. Or Saban..I would think that if the goal is the NFL, and people will know the number anyways, why not just list it as accurately as you can. Ultimately you'll never fool anyone into thinking you're taller than you are all the until draft day.
|8 weeks 3 days ago||Yeah||
I think he was saying that guys were able to get open but Lewis was athletic enough to close the door on them.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Did you read this||
on Friday Recruiting, click the link...and forget that you read it there?
I've done that before.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Mel Kiper||
has Peppers in the 20's.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||Not sure||
Big schools bring big ratings. Even in college basketball big names brign higher ratings. Upsets are fun, but the following week when you're stuck with Gonzaga instead of Duke...or in football a Michigan State instead of Ohio State, interest wanes.
College football is different than pros anyways because alumni are spread out, with more being created every year. Alabama has no pro team nearby. They have almost the entire state for fans, plus teh alumni that have left and will watch Bama regardless. Let's say Detroit is half Blue, half green. I live in DC, there are A LOT of M fans here. Michigan wins every year, they will have high numbers. People will watch to support or people will watch and hope they lose..but they will watch.
See: Patriots ratings, LeBron in Miami etc. Schools have always been in rural areas and it's never affected fandom
|8 weeks 5 days ago||clearly||
he's in the C Hogan mold. He's such a heady, high character player.
|8 weeks 5 days ago||Without even reading, I'm sure this||
should be a novel and not an article.
|8 weeks 6 days ago||Yes true..||
But one could argue that he's echoing our President's statement and imitiation is flattery...especially as we don't know ijohnb's political affiliation.
Also note, you said "their President" in reference to Trump supporters, but yet he is all of our President. Trump supporter or not, I would not offend those who do support him by calling Trump "their President."
