I did some coverage on this for Ferris State's newspaper and Tony told me that he was never even in contact with CMU. Personally, I think he would have been a great hire for them, and there were a million reasons for Annese to go if he was offered the job, but I'm glad he's sticking around here.
Is anyone from the Big Rapids area driving down to the game? I go to college there and would love to get to see at least one Michigan game this year. I can supply some gas money and witty banter, and I promise that I'm not a psycho. Well, at least I'm no more psycho than all the rest of the Michigan loyal...
