1. Drummond is already better than Chandler ever was
2. It's true if Drummond is our best player, the Pistons aren't touching a chip, but I'd rather have him than not. Piston's messed up by betting on Jackson. If you put an elite guard/wing next to Drummond, this team is dangerous.
3. Drummond arguments remind me of Stafford arguments, "Let's get rid of our best player because he can't cover up the mistakes of everybody else!!"

Never been a big fan of Zlatan (more a attitude thing than anything to do with his play), so would love it if PSG won it after he left, while Man U is doing no better with him.

True but you have to go back a decade to find a final that none of those 3 were in, and it seems those 3 and team TBD are always the Final Four.
|2 days 4 hours ago||Also, an upvote for my random||
Also, an upvote for my random lesson of the day... I saw the word Scunthorpe and figured it was a made up word. A couple of google searches later, I now know that it is actually a real team AND I know there is a such thing as The Scunthorpe Problem.

Hoping to see something from Man City or Atletico to give me hope they can break up the Real-Barca-Munich stranglehold on the Champions League.
|6 days 42 min ago||We forget so soon. Who could||
We forget so soon. Who could repress the horror the 2010 team went through having to strech for 20 extra minutes. Do NOT short-change their struggle.
|6 days 21 hours ago||Yeah, and arguably One on One||
Yeah, and arguably One on One is harder to pull off in college, because it's easier to concentrate your defense on one player (both because of more zone defenses AND the fact that college teams aren't as deep, so the 2nd, 3rd and 4th options aren't usually as dangerous).

Should clarify "most". Out of the Tourney teams, you'll have some entertaining offenses. Outside of that, the watchability of college bball falls fast.
|6 days 22 hours ago||Always felt most college offenses are hard to||
Always felt most college offenses are hard to watch, outside of the UCLAs, Kentuckys, vintage M teams, etc. ... the balance between skill and team cohesion is just hard to get.

I believe the composite averages out the ratings of all sites and then re-orders the prospects based on that average.... So a recruit whose ratings all fall into a reasonably tight range (say 24-71), might end up ranked ahead of recruits who 1 or 2 services loved and the others all hated (say in an extreme situation, 15th, 20th, 250th, and 233rd)
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Probably not looking at this,||
Probably not looking at this, but I'll respond anyway. Its the fact that we're reading into things that aren't actually things and it clutters up the board. There is no reason that we need a post because Aubrey's coach's favorite restaurant is bad at replenishing it's refrigerator.
|4 weeks 6 days ago||Or maybe they just really||
Or maybe they just really like him at Guard and feel they can mitigate any Tackle issues with tight ends?? An untested OL has me feeling like Florida will be a loss, but hopefully they can gel in time for Wiscy and The Game.
|5 weeks 3 hours ago||Really? Is this where we're||
Really? Is this where we're at now? A restaurant is out of milk, and we need to obsess over it? I cannot wait until Feb 1st.... Think the craziness over Najee and Aubrey has finally convinced me to unplug from recruiting a bit.

If only we could figure out how to bankrupt the Tuscaloosa elite without any effect anywhere else...

The Saban/Bama Deathstar has been operational since what, 2009? Cristobal has only been there since '13. Saban has always had staff turnover to little effect on the final result. Don't expect this to make much of a difference either.

Have we not learned that continually discussing stupidity/rumors/jokes/lies will eventually legitimize that thing. Some writer made up a rumor to get clicks, can we stop treating it like it's an actual possibility.

On the other hand, he is voluntarily leaving California to go to Michigan in December. No way he does that if there's not some serious interest. Weirder things have happened
|11 weeks 2 days ago||Possibly||
For me, going to a game involves a 6 hour drive or a more expensive flight AND having to take a day off on Friday to have time to get to the game. That doesn't even account for attempting to get my friends to make that trip from even further away than I am. Unless said game is HUGE (i.e. Bowl, playoff or championship games), that trip isn't happening without months (instead of the weeks this gives at best) to coordinate.
Intriguing concept theoritically, especially from a purely competitive basis. But not sure it works practically.
|11 weeks 3 days ago||Would not be good for ticket||
Would not be good for ticket sales... I'm not buying tickets for a game not knowing who's the opponent, and by the time we knew, it would probably be too late for me to actually plan that trip. No Bueno

EMU gets to go to the Bahamas and get a goody bag filled with some delicious biscuits and ok chicken, they're coming out ahead in this.

I will miss Magnuson interviews. Really hope he gets the chance for a lot more interviews for 3 more games this season after this one!!

Glasgows are awesome
|14 weeks 3 hours ago||What behavior?||
What behavior are you referring to? (serious question)
If you're referring to him talking about not being prepared for the NBA and jail food, to me he was speaking towards the college athlete experience in general and it doesn't say anything good or bad about his "attitude"
|14 weeks 3 days ago||I'm not even questioning||
I'm not even questioning whether Speight is better, that's apparent ... just more surprised that O'Korn wouldn't be better than a banged up Speight who was already having a bad game
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Viable back-up||
Was really surprised O'Korn didn't come in for a banged-up Speight... for them suppossedly being neck and neck in game 1, sure seems like coaches don't trust him out there now
|15 weeks 2 days ago||Good point, but let's not||
Good point, but let's not short-change the seniors. I realize the freshman are more highly rated and theoritically have a higher ceiling, but if the senior year versions of this freshman class end up being on a Darboh/Taco/Glasgow/Lewis level, I'll be more than satisfied.

Also, you have to think that its good to get the feel of executing it in a live game situation.

1. The number of kids getting extra benefits isn't as great as we believe it is (or at least not widespread among the kids who would be disgruntled)
2. It's so widespread that they are given an incentive to not talk
3. Players probably have friends still on the team and don't want to impact their former teammates
If forced, I would choose 3 as the most likely scenario.
|16 weeks 1 day ago||This is what I'm wondering.||
This is what I'm wondering. They were never that productive again, but it seems like something that should have kept working. Could other teams (OSU) adopt this same strategy?
