Does raise the question, Vegas home field advantage has to be at least 2 or 3 points more than regular home advantage given all of its "world-class shows and attractions"?
|2 days 1 hour ago||Business Model||
This has to be their projection right? That Vegas gets so many visitors, that there'll be a bigger than average number of opposing fans seeing it as an away-game worth travelling to. It could work, but I think (and really hope) it Fails and the whole leveraging cities to give money to billionaires thing dies

[ EDIT]Agreed. But it's a mindset that IMO you either have or you don't, and Kingston obviously didn't. I could see him taking the Rawls/Cox route and getting all the carries he wants and running over people at a different school.
|5 days 1 hour ago||I was thinking the same||
I was thinking the same thing, so I looked up last year's stats:
Hammering Panda AND Poggi: 26 carries, 43 yards and are now 2 inches shorter than at the start of the season
Ty Isaac: 74 carries, 417 yards, so ~3 times the carries being the 3rd string back
It takes a special kind of crazy to play Fullback for not a lot of chances to carry the ball. If he doesn't want to play FB and thinks he can play RB somewhere else, I totally get it.

You are neither the KNOWLEDGE nor Ace nor KenPom, your predictions are therefore invalid (though I agree, 81-72 sounds about right)

Or because staying that extra year allows them to increase their draft stock and maximize that 1st contract. If he's in the 20's, maybe he should come back to play himself into the Lottery ...but if he somehow plays himself in to the lottery this year, unless he really loves college, I wouldn't be mad at all if he left.

It'll be even better without the heart attacks everyone else had live. Have to experience how awesome Walton was today.

I would think the kids would rather play in the NIT than not play at all... As far as Crean's status, if it's bad enough where fans have so little faith int he team that you're choosing to be the road team, then the writings on the wall.

I would much rather have a freshman wear it and try to live up to that number than someone play for 3 years, and then switch numbers.... #1 and #2 will be special no matter who wears it now, and if some wideout makes their mark at UM wearing a different number (like #9) then good for them for creating a new tradition.

The fact that I hate Suarez so much (and the penalty he drew was kind of suspect), has me conflicted, but this comeback was just too crazy. Watch them ride this wave to the Final.

Early goals in both games... good to see Pulisic involved early (sounds like he had the assist on a BVB goal)

the never-ending Nike Money has me thinking that Oregon will stay relevant and will eventually break through and win one.
Stanford would be up there, but according to your link, they won one i 1926.

1. Drummond is already better than Chandler ever was
2. It's true if Drummond is our best player, the Pistons aren't touching a chip, but I'd rather have him than not. Piston's messed up by betting on Jackson. If you put an elite guard/wing next to Drummond, this team is dangerous.
3. Drummond arguments remind me of Stafford arguments, "Let's get rid of our best player because he can't cover up the mistakes of everybody else!!"

Never been a big fan of Zlatan (more a attitude thing than anything to do with his play), so would love it if PSG won it after he left, while Man U is doing no better with him.

True but you have to go back a decade to find a final that none of those 3 were in, and it seems those 3 and team TBD are always the Final Four.

Also, an upvote for my random lesson of the day... I saw the word Scunthorpe and figured it was a made up word. A couple of google searches later, I now know that it is actually a real team AND I know there is a such thing as The Scunthorpe Problem.

We forget so soon. Who could repress the horror the 2010 team went through having to strech for 20 extra minutes. Do NOT short-change their struggle.
|5 weeks 5 days ago||Yeah, and arguably One on One||
Yeah, and arguably One on One is harder to pull off in college, because it's easier to concentrate your defense on one player (both because of more zone defenses AND the fact that college teams aren't as deep, so the 2nd, 3rd and 4th options aren't usually as dangerous).

Should clarify "most". Out of the Tourney teams, you'll have some entertaining offenses. Outside of that, the watchability of college bball falls fast.

Always felt most college offenses are hard to watch, outside of the UCLAs, Kentuckys, vintage M teams, etc. ... the balance between skill and team cohesion is just hard to get.
|7 weeks 6 days ago||I believe the composite||
I believe the composite averages out the ratings of all sites and then re-orders the prospects based on that average.... So a recruit whose ratings all fall into a reasonably tight range (say 24-71), might end up ranked ahead of recruits who 1 or 2 services loved and the others all hated (say in an extreme situation, 15th, 20th, 250th, and 233rd)

Probably not looking at this, but I'll respond anyway. Its the fact that we're reading into things that aren't actually things and it clutters up the board. There is no reason that we need a post because Aubrey's coach's favorite restaurant is bad at replenishing it's refrigerator.
