I would give any father a run for their money in this or any group and I work at least 60 hours a week. It is possible be extremely successful at both.
and I will sell you my four for less then that. its a coin flip if general public will have any b10 games this year. I would guess nw would have some limited tix available to the public.
I love night games. I personally even prefer 3:30 over noon games. Extra tailgating is always a good thing. However, I will say that I am only in favor of 1-2 night games a year
Networking is very important and is honestly much more valuable than any MBA. If you do go for a MBA that is not a prestigious university, be sure to not get the one that anyone can get. This may hurt you a bit. Ultimately, to get where you want to go tell everyone that will listen and work harder than anyone else. That has done wonders for me. Also be honest and responsive. It is noticed. Good luck
I am a big fan of the music in the stadium. I remember it without the music vs recent games and think it helps get the crowd going. we need more noise and anything that helps with that I am game for.
Bring back $20 parking.
I did something like this once. drove up from st louis and saw tool on friday night, went to wisky vs mich on Saturday afternoon (started tailgating at 6 & mich won 20-10), went to msu vs nd that night (nd made a crazy comeback to win), saw packers vs lions ( brett Favre 400th td pass) and then got in the car and drove home. it was an amazing but tiring weekend.
did not attend
have had tickets for 5 years
4 tickets renewed
0 not renewed
no impact
I live in Maryland and even though I only can make one or two games a year I usually make money and if I don't than I am ok with that. I will continue to renew.
I will continue to purchase tickets and love the fact that I am a season ticket holder. I live in Maryland and will likely make 1-2 games a year and split or sell the rest. I have never lost $ on tickets like some say they have and even if I do its the cost of the membership of being a season ticket holder. I am ok with the price and being at games like the recent Notre Dame games, Penn st, etc.... are memories that I cannot put a price tag on and will share with my children and future grandchildren. I will forever say "I was there when______" and the price of admission will not be a part of the story.
I have been driving or flying in from Georgia or Maryland for a few years now and only make the big games as of now. not sure how people have been eating money on the tickets. I have made money every year so far although I am hoping just to break even this year.
I came to this site and would spread the word because of its information and how ahead of the gamr it felt. I would not post a lot but would check the site at least 4-5 times a day and it would at times be the first thing I would do when I woke up. Over the past year this has significantly changed and its because of the bashing on the site. I felt like it was the definition of misery loves company. I feel that many recruits probably know of this site and have been here. I feel that we are limited in what we can do to assist the product on the field. we can buy merchandise and tickets, we can stand and make noise at the games and we can post optimistic information that make kids feel as if we are a fan base that is different than others. That we support our team, regardless of what the results are and that we do not bash kids or our fellow Michigan fans. I tend to have a big ego and I used to bash others for differing opinions but then I grew up and remembered a) who cares and b) if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it. there is such a thing as a healthy debate but I think we go outside of that.
at the jags vs eagles game. just met nick foles dad. first comment about my Michigan shirt was that his son played at msu when the lil brother comment was made.
to be honest I am a major sports snob. I tend to think that I am a bigger sports fan than the average Joe so this entitles me to wear my invisible "you're not a real sports fan" hat. kind of sad but true.
but eventually got through and was able to get two seats almost right behind mine. thanks for posting this because I was wondering when they were going on sale. now time to sell some non osu/nd tix
its Sunday so I will pray for a glorious Monday. After a long day of basketball in Atlanta yesterday and the masters and championship tomorrow I will need by rest. This day will last forever.
I am well aware that he doesn't care but it gets me a reason to leave work early and do something a little unique with him. He doesn't care much about the football or basketball games on tv either but sports quality time is good quality time. There will likely be too many people there to go with him anyways. Thanks for the feedback.
I have been wanting to set up something for a bunch of us to meet up. I will be in Atlanta around 1pm on Saturday and am looking for a good place to hang out with fellow MgoBloggers until the first game. I also agree with the get open seats as people are leaving their section after the first game and about the scoping out open seats during the first half. I caught about 5 piston playoff games back in the day from the sidelines.
I have tickets already to both but am now hoping to upgrade my tickets. Is Michigan going to be selling some?
Heads up - If anyone has some cash to throw around and is looking for a real big sports experience, Monday is the first practice round of the Masters (going for about $300 a ticket right now from what I have seen). I will personally be doing Saturday Final Four, Monday Masters practice round and Monday night NCAA Championship and now with Michigan in the mix it has increased dramatically. Go Blue!!!
I would think wr but my question is: can he catch? I would assume no. I dont remember him catching a ball more than 5 yds out and it seemed like he struggled pulling in the ball quickly when catching the ball in the backfield. The guy is great at what he is great at but my fear is that this just won't be good enough for the pros. Hope I am wrong.
Do you think we have been playing "manball" all year? This offense is only 3 games old this year. I think that when our offense is clicking that we will look similar to that of a lsu or Alabama, but that isn't apparently an offense that can work or so you believe. I just think this is how good we actually are. The offensive line isn't up to Michigan expectations and as for today the second half play calling was questionable at best.

Although, China looks like they want no part of this team. If we can get a goal by the 60th, I think they make a mistake or 5 that allows more goals.
I may use this as mine next week

I have tickets already luckily enough but am looking to get some Michigan section tickets now. Will Michigan make tickets available?
