A couple thoughts to supplement/repeat what has already been said: a) 2,300 is huge… Twice the size of South Quad and atleast 1,000 bigger than both Markley & Bursley. b)The train still goes by several times a week & usually in middle of night (12am - 4am) and unfortunately none of the crossings are “quiet crossings”… Ann Arbor City Council studied the cost a few years ago to add necessary gates so trains would be allowed to Not blow their horn through town; costs varied from $5M-$8M. Hopefully the U spends the dollars to “quiet” the trains, otherwise 2,300 students will be sleep deprived. c) It does not take a 100 year storm to flood the intersection of Hill/Division in feet of water… It happens seemingly every year atleast once. d) North Quad has very few if any freshman normally, mostly sophomores & upper classmen because they have more housing priority points and fill it up first.
I’m definitely interested to see the eventual renderings; the U did beautiful design work on both North Quad & Munger.
You’re welcome!.. Dinner, N/A beverages, and snacks are included so arrive hungry. I will not be there as I am working in LA this fall. If you make it down to the 213 from the 805 at some point we can cross paths.
It is well established that ice thickness significantly changes its skating dynamics, and there is only about 1/4” between fast & slow ice. I drove one of the Zamboni’s for games at Yost in the early 90’s, anyone who believes that ice thickness is not varied based on the visiting teams is Naive
I simply want bragging rights in my own home… My daughter is a NU sophomore and I have no interest in eating crow for 3 years after taking her to a majority of UM games for the last 15 years. GO BLUE!
And usually not much/any surge pricing before the game.
But cellular connectivity is a significant issue after the game for an hour or so. Your phone will have a hard time getting and maintaining a connection to request the UBER, and the drivers have issues as well. Plus, getting to a place both you & UBER can get to can be complicated.
Unless you plan on hanging out at a tailgate for 1-2hrs after the game, I would encourage you have alternate transportation after the game.
... at the time of writing. Brian even qualified his statement with: "But if the broadcast was correct" and I verified it to add the data point pre-UFR
... right after Kinnel sauntered past Don without so much as a glance after the AFA long TD reception (It's a habit of mine to watch for those coach/player interactions after big plays when I'm in attendance)
I had to chase down the USPS man after he knocked but did not leave them in my porch mailbox.
He said "tickets can't be left in unsecured mail boxes"... and... "delivery is only attempted once before they 'return to sender' and no note is left like (they) would for a package"
This is the first time in 23 yrs my tickets have not been simply left in my box - Weird!
With the transfer of Asiasi, his great "recoverability", Harbaugh allowing him to enroll early, and the '18 TE/OL recruit who was quoted as saying that the staff said he could/would compete at TE as freshman... I see Hall playing some as blocking TE/6th OL in a limited roll this fall if he can stay healthy in fall camp.
You're way behind the times... It closed in the Bell Tower months ago due to water damage and Eve stated they are not reopening there... She is focused on opening an additional Frita B in Detroit
I heard basically the same thing: Taco will just be sore and held out next week as precaution... Plus, Mone injury is sprained MCL... 4/5-ish weeks and then he'll be back
I'm missing the block M on the pants &/or jersey as well. The Riddell helmet didn't include it on the nose bumper either... Is the cleat tongue going to really be the block M's only consistent placement on our uniforms?.. Seems weird
Yep... His parents invested all they could in both time & money and it still was not enough. To your point about how "very lucky" the USMNT is to have him work out, it was actually about 3 very's
Point taken about Dempsey but, if I recall correctly, his development was actually paid for by his teammates parents because his could not actually afford it... Kudos to those kind families
II, III, IV, etc can skip generations. So as long as their is a precedent, it would be legit. My son carries on my father's name and is a II, and cannot be a Jr
Not Amtrak... The tracks east of M stadium parking lot cross over the top of the Amtrak rails, perpendicular, at the south end of Argo pond, just west of the Amtrak station on Depot St
Hey Magnus... Let's give: Trader Jack, BlueInWisconsin, MGoKalamazoo, myzlblk, Rabbit21 & Wolverine4545 participation medals. Regardless of the fact that they relentlessly defend a mistake of simple etiquette rules, at least they showed up today.
I don't understand why we have to predetermine a set number of teams. Conference Championships should matter and be factored in. And I don't believe any two loss teams should have a claim, so...
Every Conference Champion with 0 or 1 loss gets into the playoffs; Independents with 0 or 1 loss get in at the committees discretion. Quarterfinals (if necessary) are on campus and byes awarded as needed.
This year would have one change/addition: Houston @ Oklahoma For the right to play Clemson in Semi-Final
Having a deserved Cinderella get an opportunity would only add to the splendor.
Saw Doyle at Rolling Sculpture and was surprised he didn't seem taller... Later he was with his Dad and sure enough - Dad is taller - I was hoping he would pick up an inch or two in college but he's likely topped out.
I tend to like clean/simple/classic looks the best, but... I understand apparel companies are trying to sell more than one jersey to every buyer and therefore need variety.
That said, I have a significant aversion to the "dot array" & "camo" embellishments we have seen recently, mostly because I can clearly see them on broadcasts or when I attend games.
So if Nike can use "watermark" designs to create "fresh/hip/cool/teentastic" looks to hang on the retail rack but are not noticeable on broadcast - Knock yourself out!
On side note: "Sparky" the ASU mascot was designed long ago by a fellow that was fired from Disney... He distain for Walt led him to fashion the devil mascot with Walt's likeness
I just rescued a third dog in Dec, about three years after 2nd died. We got the 2nd about a year after the first, and it worked great/better having the two for each other's company for about ten years while we worked away from home all day. Now I work from home mostly so I am planning on just one dog this round. I will always rescue for a variety of reasons - So I agree with the majority here - And have had good luck with both the local Ann Arbor shelter and a SE MI breeder that also does rescue for our preferred breed (German Short-haired Pointer)
If I'm not mistaken... The funds for these capital projects are coming from the fixed-term bonds that were originally issued to improve Michigan Stadium & Crisler, but can be used for other capitol improvements as well.
The revenue generated from the new football & Bball improvements has essentially freed up these bond funds to be used for non-revenue sports... Kind of like: Use-it or Lose-it money at the end of the fiscal year from your work medical account.
Student scholarships unfortunately don't qualify due to the capitol expense provision.
My understanding is that Harbaugh expects a lot of pre-snap diagnosis from his QB... Which dictates getting into the right play & simple reads post-snap.
If so, that seems like a great situation for a grad transfer with a season plus of game experience.
In my experience, when a person is well informed of the pros & cons of a personal decision, but still asks others for advice... That person already knows the right answer for themselves - They just don't like it

I’ll give my ticket. Club 215 Row A… You will not be disappointed. Just need an email or phone to transfer it to you.
How many seats do you need?

Best Neck Sharpies yet...
Bullit points, charts, UFR’s, GIF’s, graphics, screenshots, & video - Wow!
Bravo!
