Granted he did take them to a 12-0 record in the weakest conference of the AQs. Then again that team which he left high and dry got crushed by florida in their bowl game. That game would have happend with the same result and he knew it that is why he bolted. Lets see how he recruits for once... I'm sure by the time his recruits come in he will be gone to the NFL anyways. So enjoy him for the 2-3 seasons you have him..

Don't just count good coaches out from these divisions. Everyone here has to remember how amazing Grand Valley State was under Brian Kelly. His track record has been great so far.

I have a family member who was on the Michigan football team from '06 through '01 and has nothing but great things to say about coach Hoke. I for one believe this team does not need some genius crazy football mind as coach. A coach who can inspire and motivate players to excel on the field and in the real world is so important. Hoke will be that guy who cares about young men leaving Michigan and being better members of society. That in turn will lead to wins. That is my opinion.
Was he (JH) a good fit for Michigan? Maybe, but he isn't in love with being the coach here so I am glad he isn't going to come.

<br>What made Carr so great was his love for Michigan and his love for his players. If Hoke is that guy then he will be successful here. Recruits and players can tell if someone is genuine. They buy in and play hard for a guy who truly believes in them and their school.
I generalized and looked dumb. I am just tired of the over zealous fans and hearing complaints. It is not an easy job to lead a great football like Michigan. I sympathize with him and wish it didn't turn out like this. That is all.
