I've always thought dropping the scholarship limit to 72 and capping recruiting classes to 23 per year would help as well. Give those 13 scholarships to Olympic sports.
I think Barry and Emmit were both great backs who had very good lines to run behind. I think Emmits were a bit better bit to say Barry had bad olines in front of him his while career is not true.
The guy that was in the lane next to him for the 110m hurdles is currently on Oregons track team. They were also showing the Oregon football team who had gathered to watch the finals as a team back in Eugene. Needless to say Oregon got way more mention than Michigan did.
It was my understanding that becuase they run with 6 teams during the 7 v 7 portion of The Opening it made sense to bring 12 from the E11 so each team had 2 QBs. Am I missing something?
Does anyone state split their teams by public vs. private? I always thought michigan should, especially for football. My thought was private A (for large private schools) and private B (for the smaller ones). Then a Public 1-4. 6 divisions total (8 is too many in my opinion). I guess sports like hockey would be different because of the smaller number of schools that field teams but have a similar type set up.

They are making sure a scholarship will be available to him mid year. I always thought early enrollment resulted in said player paying his own way for the first semester. Not sure but just passing along what scout is reporting.
Think tomvh said they went head to head 4 times with each winning 2 reps. Given that big Mike is a guard and Cooper literally had no other assignment but to rush the Passer I'll take a 2 all tie as a win for big mike.

3x All American and 2x Big Ten Champ. Had a few bad knee injuries that he always came back from. One caused by getting hit by a car riding his bike to his student teaching job. Plus he had mad DJ skillz.
The 4 guys not named Coon went 4 for 4 in the blood round. I went to the championships when they were at the Palace and the blood round is second to the finals only in terms of intensity. (Blood Round = Win and you're an All-American. Lose and you're going home with nothing)
Going 5-4 in Michigan doesn't get you in the playoffs unless the 8 division, 32 team per field is not filled with 6 win (5 if 8 game schedule) teams. Some get in but a lot don't. I think the problem with Michigan HS football is too many divisions. Should be 5 IMO.
