I don't think its atypical to not exhibit symptoms until a day later, but I think his point is that there is no conceivable reason that Hoke should not have been informed of his QBs injury status, especially when its a national news story. Just doesn't pass the smell test for me either.

Wow feels surreal to see this growing so quickly after I helped my buddy proofread this at 9 pm tonight (so any grammatical errors are my fault). I already signed and i encourage others to as well.

I believe it is Lloyd Carr actually.
|3 days 19 min ago||Disagree||
I was there live and while most didn't see the hit live, we did see Morris almost fall over onto Braden on the big screen at which point everyone in my section starting screaming bloody murder to get him out of the game. I and most people in my section were furious live and nothing the coaching staff or AD has said since has abated the anger.

You should probably check your own math before you try to snark. 42 days is 6 weeks which is November 10.
|3 days 2 hours ago||Jesus||
We've officially become mid 2000s Michigan State now with countdowns to basketball season and a clown show of a football team.
But nonetheless can't wait for basketball season myself.
|3 days 3 hours ago||Do you seriously think Shane||
Do you seriously think Shane Morris should have been the starter? The best argument for starting him (assuming Gardner was healthy) was "change for changes sake" which...is how you get people running 3-3-5s in the middle of the season.
|3 days 15 hours ago||Speechless||
I have never, never felt this level of rage about anything on the football field. Losing sucks, but I can handle it because it is a part of sports. But this, being sold that the Michgan way means something, integrity means something and then to have our athletic "leaders" act this way is simple infuriating.
|3 days 15 hours ago||And if Hayes fumbles the ball||
And if Hayes fumbles the ball and Morris tries to dive for the ball and gets blown up again then what? You can't put a player on the field without the possibility of them getting hit. There is no defensible reason for Shane Morris to have been put back in that game.

It's always interesting to see how the UFRs, mesh with my feeling during the game. I remember thinking that the offensive line was fine in pass protection, but Gardner screwed that up and that they were a major culprit in the run game. It seems that the RBs might have been more of a problem than I realized. The game as a whole was a needle mover for me and my faith in Hoke, but he has 10 games left in the season. If we get the ship turned around as I hope we do, then I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. If not, well I think the Michigan job is a bit more attractive than you give it credit for Brian.

Excuse my all caps and rudeness, but blaming Denard Robinson for ANY of Michigan's problems is moronic. Let's play a compare/contrast game.
RR w/o Denard starting : 8-16 .333
RR w/ Denard : 7-6 .538
Hoke w/ Denard 16-5 (counting the Nebraska loss) .762
Hoke w/o Denard 11-9 0.550
That is a 20% win increase for each of the two coaches at UM who had access to Denard's talents. Despite all he accomplished, Denard is somehow still criminally underappreciated by the UM fanbase for how much he papered over the incompetence that surrounded him.

I like to think that the fact you referred to Maryland as Rutgers in the Maryland section was a thematic, intentional choice on the ridiculousness of adding them to the Big Ten and not an editing mistake.
|4 weeks 5 days ago||Ok if Brian ends up being||
Ok if Brian ends up being right and this is a top 10 defense andwe have a top 10 passing offense and the running game goes back to mediocre....That's a 10-2/11-1 squad isn't it? Especially with the Big 10 being not great and ND being so hurt by the suspensions.

Bit of both. IIRC we were playing some higher level Belgium squads (maybe a bit better than the team we played today) whereas this Italian squad is the only actual team that we played on this trip. On the other hand, the talent gap between this year's squad and the 10-11 squad is enormous.

|7 weeks 2 days ago||I don't know man||
I'm not a hockey season ticket holder either, but it's really not hard to see why ticket holders are upset that they're losing a home game against their biggest rivals for a neutral site game. If this was say against OSU or UW, then I think people might be slightly annoyed, but not nearly as upset.

I wish we just stuck with our original jerseys as we have the best uniform in sports, but as far as UNIFORMZ, those are the best ones yet.
|9 weeks 2 days ago||Tommy Amaker never||
Tommy Amaker never accomplished anything close to Hoke's 11-2 season (Winning the NIT is roughly equivalent to that 8-5 2012 team). He also didn't recruit at nearly the level Hoke is AND he was still givien six years. So I don't really see any relevant comparison between the two.

I think Denard covered up a lot of the holes his senior year, but during his juinor year with Molk anchoring the line, it was very good and produced two 1000 yard rushers. I think finding competent center play will be the key factor to improvement on the line.

Aren't you allowed to like both series? I didn't realize it was an either/or thing. I guess it really doesn't matter since Doctor Who is better than both anyway.

I don't think Caris playing that 35 min a game is a stretch considering he played 34.0 min per game this year.
|22 weeks 2 days ago||OSU||
This is football. Especially now that we're in the same division so there isn't even that consideration. The answer would be different if you asked who I'd rather beat in basketball. That being said if we want to ever stop being non-Catholic Notre Dame, we need to start beating both of them on somewhat of a consistent basis.
|22 weeks 6 days ago||Your baseball analogy is flawed.||
Batting average actually doesn't mean that much, OBP is much more revealing stat on what you really need to measure (what is the percent chance that a guy gets on base/HR during any given at bat). RBIs also are more a funciton of opportunity than a particular measure of hitter skills. If you put Miggy on the Astros, he'd probably have less RBIs, even perfroming the same amount.
I'm not arguing that hockey stat is valid because baseball is really the only mainly individual sport on offense, whereas hockey is very much a team game. However, you have to fairly represent your opponents arguments (Also Mike Trout is a better baseball player than Miguel Carbrera and if Cabrera played for the Twins or A's, everyone here would recognize that fact).

|23 weeks 5 days ago||Or we can talk about how that||
Or we can talk about how that silly, silly spin move became less and less of his repertoire as the year went on. We can talk about how his pocket manipulation improved leaps and bounds over the year (unfortunately was lost amid the constant pressure and sacks). We can talk about how he had only 3 INTs (every QB has "should have" been interceptions) in Big Ten play despite having absolutely no rushing support. Or maybe the fact that in the biggest game of our year, he gutted out an almost comeback on a broken foot.
There is a nonzero chance that Morris passes Gardner before next fall. Absolutely nothing either player has shown indicates this particularly close to being likely.
