I live in New Albany, OH and I volunteered at a youth camp last week. We had football, basketball, soccer and cheerleading. We had 8 kids sign up for football, 15 kids for basketball and over 30 for soccer. I never thought I would see the day where football would be over powered by soccer in any area of Ohio. The reality is that parents are not allowing there kids to play football because of all the "hidden dangers" that have come to the surface with concussions and other injuries. The reality of the matter is that if you were to actually compare all of the sports against one another, I would bet they all would be close to equal in regard to concussions and other injuries.

He is simply stating how Rutgers and the Big Ten Network are airing the Rutgers win over a bad 5-7 Michigan team as "classic". First of all, beating Michigan is a big deal to a lot of schools even if Michigan is bad, but it also speaks volumes of how important it is for the Big ten to have a good, or great Michigan. A Rutgers win over an undefeated Michigan, who wins or competes for a title would be Classic in my book, but 5-7 Michigan not so much. It just speaks volumes about how much Michigan means to the conference.

Base what we were getting with Harbaugh. He just left the NFL for Michigan. Most fan bases believe Michigan is a dumpster fire and Harbaugh wants to change this quick. There will be no "by year three Michigan will be back". Harbaugh made the comment that "8,10 wins this year not being enough, it's about winning 15". Harbaugh means business and no matter what his reasoning is, for better or worse with Pipkins, we may never find out.

People cheat at some point to gain an advantage. I do things that are considered cheating at work all the time. Nothing I do is illegal, or could hurt anyone in anyway, but it gives me an advantage and the way I cheat will go with me to my grave. Nick Saban cheats all the time by over signing, Urban Meyer cheats by over signing, our very own Jim Harbaugh is considered a cheater because of the satellite camps. Fact is, Tom Brady found a way to bend the rules and got caught, but remember football is a game. His decision to deflate a football was not immoral, and didn't cause harm to others. He did not commit a crime. Tom Brady is and forever will be a Michigan man.

Because I ant to say that the great leaders don't just make the summit and call it a day. The great leaders make the summit and look across for a taller mountain to climb. Mr Boone doesn't understand because he does not have the pedigree of a great leader, or the work ethic to become a great leader.

I'd take this as a compliment if I were Harbaugh. This shouldn't be a red flag at all. If I were a parent of a high schooler, id be chomping at the bit to get my kid into Michigan just because of this. Post this on Harbaugh's statue outside schem hall.

Oops, I meant add Ruddock and a fifth year transfer wideout.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||As I said before I think||
We are a lot closer to 6-6 than 7-5, or 8-4 according to what I seen in the spring. Add Jake Ruddock, a 5th year transfer wideout who can possibly take the top off of a defense, get Jabril some decoy opportunities on the offensive side of the ball, I think a few ball bounces that go our way we will be 8-4 at best. But as of today I'm still going with 6-6 and early losses to Utah and BYU. This team must find a running game if we are going to do any better. Hopefully the offensive line gels like they did late last year, and drake Johnson comes back looking as good as his did against the Buckeyes.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Harbaugh has a style similar||
to Saban, or Urban Meyer, I think Harbaugh and Meyer are similar in terms of what they want to get out of their teams. Urban utilizes a spread attack that emphasizes power in the run game. Harbaugh utilizes multiple sets and pro style formations to keep defenses on their toes. Harbaugh also emphasizes the power run game. At the end of the day Harbaugh is a competitor who wants to win and will find a way to win with the cards he has been dealt. He shows passion and toughness that will rub off in his team. The same can be said about Urban Meyer, or even Nick Saban. Overall, I would take Harbaugh and his crazy ways over any coach out there. We definitely struck gold with Jim coming home.

Stay healthy. The problem that is created by these "once in a lifetime talents" like peppers is that it creates a dependency. If he goes down we certainly may see a huge decline defensively. This is why we need more depth and more talent. Please by the grace of God he must stay healthy for us to have a decent to good year, or until the O can gain its footing.

Adds the running abort that our young receivers need. Last year our receivers struggled to gain separation a lot of times and when a Qb can escape pressure and get out of the pocket it creates broken plays where the receivers will have extra time to gain separation. This is a huge get if it in fact happens.

In my opinion, if you don't want the circus like attention that comes with the non sense of recruiting; just keep it private. I don't agree with Roquan's coach about any of this. Every academic institution has its perks, but they are all not "the same." The facilities are what separate the big boys in regards to "wowing" a recruit who is a child when he visits. The relationships are generally not genuine and this has been an age long issue with recruiting. Nick Saban stockpiles recruits in an effort to not just make his team better, but to keep kids away from competing SEC schools. Urban Meyer just did this to us by Lying to a 17 year old kid.

I feel as though Harbaugh is looking for foundational players in this class. He is targeting high IQ kids, with toughness as the main athletic intangible. These are the types of kids that will go to war for Harbaugh because he gave them a shot when others were not looking their way.

|28 weeks 18 hours ago||I would have to say Chris||
I would have to say Chris Howard was really underated. He is the definition of power back. Chris Floyd was also a player that I loved to watch. I was fullback in Middle School and my brother would always tell me to pay attention to number 7 Chris Floyd.
My real Number two favorite behind Woodson was Marcus Ray. The entire secondary was so strong it is no wonder players like Steele, Renes and Copenhaver were so dominant up front. The way the defensive line and secondary worked in sync with one another is the main reason Michigans defense was so dominant.
|28 weeks 1 day ago||What the hell is everyone||
What the hell is everyone complaining about? I honestly love this decision. Jim will not allow his son to fail and will pick up the necessary slack if needed. This staff has enough experience already it to help develop Jay and this is exciting to see. Jim won't allow this decision to fail. Also, maybe jay is a bad ass at at quality control and is being brought in more for his strength in that area as he develops into a position coach.
|28 weeks 1 day ago||I agree with you. If Meyer||
I agree with you. If Meyer was able to come in and dominate immediately, what makes anyone believe that Harbaugh could not do the same? The cupboard is not bare in Ann Arbor like the last few coaching changes. We have depth and the youth of the last few years will be another year older. We have Derric Gree and ty issac. Have we forgotten about Jabril Peppers? Why are we so down on a a team that lost to Ohio State by two touchdowns this last season and was a two point conversion away the year before. We beat both Michigan State and Ohio State. I think we star shitty to begin the year, but like great Michigan teams of the past we pick up steam in November. We have Harbaughs damn it. We bow to no one.
