This time around Young is accused of burglary and resisting arrest.  I think it is safe to say, however, that this has quickly moved out of the realm of schadenfreude and into the category of just sad.

I actually love Abby as a player despite his Sparty roots, and I am certainly a Wings homer, but I do believe Abdelkader left his feet - which is a big no-no these days. As for Abdelkader being a border-line AHL player, I'll respectfully disagree. He can be a big impact player for us when he is on his game. Bottom line is losing Abdelkader and DeKeyser could spell our doom. The wings simply were not that good to begin with, which should be clear to anyone who has followed them this season. Losing two guys certainly won't help our chances.

I've seen students' phones go off during exams and in the middle of representing someone in court.

3 weeks 4 days ago	My only problem with the	My only problem with the "drunk sorority girl" stereotype is the stereotyping of Greek life in general. I know this board is generally anti-Greek life, but that stereotype is just not accurate - as all stereotypes are not a good portrayal of groups.  There are plenty of undergrads not associated with Greek life who overdrink and don't make it to the games or only show up at half-time; the problem is not limited to drunk sorority girls or drunk fraternity guys. And there are sections of Greek life who comprise the most vocal portion of the student section. A lot of times they are the ones in the front row cheering loudest and celebrating with the players after the game.

He is the most underappreciated player in a long time. Part of my love affair with him is that we were students at the same time, but he was a leader in a turbulent time for Michigan basketball, and will forever be the face of the new era of Michigan basketball.

The topic was "What are the chances Spike can get a date with Kate Upton?"  After the tourney run, Spike is the early candidate for my favorite Michigan player since Zack Novak.

6 weeks 5 hours ago	I hate to advocate the Freep,	I hate to advocate the Freep, but they actually had a pretty cool article on Spike Friday (didn't know his name was Michael until I read that, or that he got his nickname because he always wore his baseball cleats everywhere). It discussed how he had only one offer (from App State) and how he didn't really believe his coach when he told Spike Michigan was interested in him.  I don't think we are where we are without Spike. It's easy to forget that a lot of these guys are only freshman, they're really going to blossom.
