The Buckeyes are always going to get top kids out of Ohio but they can't take them all. Most years Ohio will win the battle down there but Michigan will certainly pull kids from there. The whole border being locked down thing would mean a lot more if Hoke wasn't killing it across the country.
Though I would assume they didn't mean any harm and were just acting immaturely, they need to be thrown out and punished or this. Just a stupid thing to do.
At home was down big, touchdown to take the lead and win the game with 2 seconds to go! No question it was under the lights. On paper it might not seem to be as big with getting to the Elite 8 but in grand scheme of things UTL cemented Hoke and will help to get football back on track.
My understanding of it all is the visit wasn't a Bama visit but a visit to a friend that goes to Bama. Michigan coaches approved it and Poggi has always maintained he is all blue. The problem is these rumors are causing reporters to continually grill the Poggi's on this. I think Sam is getting tired of being asked about and at this time refuses to bother the family about it. If flips or not I don't know but as for now Poggi is Blue.
I honestly don't care if we blow them out, i just this team to get it right. I have no doubt Michigan wins this game but I want them to get their crap together and be fundamentally sound. I'm not panicking but they really need to shore this up.
The man didn't offer a single excuse. He isn't going to let anyone use the excuse that Alabama is so good. He rests the blame on his team. This game I'm sure will be motivation for every game this year.
Nice assessment and is funny I said much of the same stuff to my buddy when I got home. Gardner running is smooth and effortless I think will be dangerous a WR at one point.
I was really impressed in the throws Bellamy made, he looks like he could be a very solid and capable QB.
Secondary looked sharp and aggressive I really liked to see.
Denard threw some good balls but I seen some times that wide receivers had to slow down a bit to adjust to under thrown balls.
I had no idea Wormley was as big as he is and was in street clothes obviously.
Taking things a bit to literal. Just don't know how good they will be because some good players were lost to graduation. Guys were moved around. Soooo uncertainty takes place.
Starting to feel a bit more comfortable with wide receiver position. I know it's early but the size of Darboh and Gardners athleticism it is looking promising.
I thought I read somewhere (don't remember where) that the coaches wanted McQuays decision because they wanted to move on Douglas. Since McQuay wasn't ready to commit they offered Douglas figuring why take the chance and miss out on a quality db. They knew they two other scholarships.
