05/16/2011 - 5:41pm	Academics / Athletics	I found this through the above mentioned ESPN Big Ten Lunch Links. Thought it was very funny but also well done. Here's another I would add in the same format. Athletics / Academics Reason to like: It focuses on the two main reasons for the Big Ten Conference. Plus we're slapping the SEC in the face because we care about both. Reason to hate: Boring, simplistic, not a complete representation of the impact money has had on expansion. Awkwardness ensues when: The Big Ten decides to rotate the division names every year to really emphasize the importance of both pursuits over all of the schools. No one remembers which division they are called this year, so they decide to stop changing names every year. Unfortunately Northwestern ends up in the Athletics division and Ohio St. in the Academics division. What's the catch: The 2 divisions were established based on competitive balance. So having either Illinois/Indiana/Purdue or Michigan St./Minnesota/Northwestern in the Athletics division is a bit misguided.
