I actually think that a Nike

I actually think that a Nike logo shirt screams "I have been a fan from the beginning and i am not a band wagon jumper".

Even though everyone will argue that no one is jumping on our "band wagon" now, i think that if you have an older jersey from a ouple seasons ago and it means something to you (ex. you were wearing it when we won the NC in '97) then why not wear it?

That has to be the best story

That has to be the best story I have ever heard about video games. No bullshit.

Dude I love Chris Berman, I

Dude I love Chris Berman, I think he is very funny and gives life to otherwise boring MLB announcers.

I understand all that. I

I understand all that. I really do. It just pissed me off that I cant post anymore. sorry for the ranting. Neg away.

I like the points thing to a

I like the points thing to a degree. I do think however going from 150 points to not being able to post and being in the negatives because you said "I would rather embarrass Ohio State is kinda i dont know dumb? Wouldnt you rather embarrass them than beat them?

So me saying I dont like the

So me saying I dont like the points system does not go along with "what would you change about mgoblog"

I believe thats actually exactly what the thread was about. I wasnt whining about me being negged. I was saying that people neg for stupid reasons. And its stupid that people get negged for saying something that everyone will agree with and then get there posting rights taken away.

But me saying I would change the points system has everything to do with "what would you change about the blog"

So maybe you should think  your next comeback out a little more clearly?

EDIT: I dont care if I planned out "pimping" my website or not. People will look at it. Thats all I wanted, so mission accomplished, even if your highness doesnt aprove.

Explain to me exactly what

Explain to me exactly what the trash I was posting is and I will think about it?

I dont like the neg thing,

I dont like the neg thing, perhaps its because I am in the negatives myself. I at one time had around 150 points and in one thread went down to -12 and can no longer post. I think that is a little rediculous. The reason I went down so far is because I said that in a Michigan-OSU game you would rather embarrass your oppenent rahter than simply beat them. I think most people would agree with me, but it somehow got around -30 something points. When I tried to defend that statement every single defense got negged even worse. I dont really think thats a real reason to get neg banged. Most people will agree we would rather beat OSU by 50 points than 3 points. So I'm not quite sure why I lost 160 points? Thats just me though. Now I cant post and I made an intresting article about Kevin Sousa that I had to make my own blog to put up (http://michiganfootballblog10.blogspot.com/) beacause I cannot post on this one. Obviously I will get negged even more in this post because I am complaining about the points. That is my opinion though.

I cant post but here is what i typed up on Windows Live writer

Now I am not a recruit expert, but I will give you everything I know about Kevin Sousa and tell you why this is good for Michigan.

First of all, its good for Michigan because this will give Devin Gardner some extra motivation if he has to battle for the starting position when Tate and Denard leave. Second, this kid has only been playing football two full season! And hes already gaining National attention from colleges with prestige! Ex. Michigan! He had delivery issues and mechanical issues but has been to every combine and camp he get word of and every single time the people running the camps say he is getting better! Why not have this kid on our team?!

6’2”

213 lbs

40: 4.5-4.8

Shuttle: 4.4-4.6

Bench: >300

Squat: 400

Cling and Jerk: 260

Oh and by the way he is on the weightlifting team at his high school.

This kid has the body of a linebacker, but throws like Randy freaking Johnson! At the VERY least he can play any position on the field we ask him to, and with a recent quote from him saying “I will do whatever they tell me to do” when asked about changing positions proves he is Michigan material! A hard working kid, raw with super potential, that will do whatever is told. On top of that, he has a whole year to progress in high school football still.

He will be coming to Michigan when Tate and Denard are Juniors. When they leave he will be a Junior and will likely be battling Devin Gardner for the starting QB spot. He will have two more years left at Michigan to be a starter. If worse comes to worse, he will start his senior year unless he becomes a Cone/Threet/Sheridan like bust. 2 full years in the system, and possibly one more before he becomes full-time starter will give him enough experience to make a difference when it matter in my opinion.

Now I am kind of biased as i have been high on Sousa from the moment i heard about him on MGoBlog. I believe he will be an excellent fit for Michigan. Big, strong, hard worker, will do whatever is told, duel threat QB. We need someone like that to take the ropes when the two headed beast (Tate and Denard) leave.

Welcome to Ann Arbor Kevin Sousa

You MGoBloggers already know everything i just mentioned, I wrote this for my own blog and wanted to know what yall thought. I cannot post, so its in the form of a comment.

Me and my dad have done the

Me and my dad have done the exact same thing. Ours was not as in depth as your however. My pinewood derby car had three yellow stripes that were connected at the front of the car and horrifyingly off looking wings on the side. We won though, and me, my mom, and my dad could all be heard yelling "GO BLUE" as we crosed the finish line.

Yes, I will get neg banged on

Yes, I will get neg banged on this but I was 11 when he late hit Prior that esentially cost us the 06 OSU game. I was so young that ever since then it did not matter what he did I did not like the guy, even if he was a decent player. When I got wind that we lost that game, I was on my way to the mall with my friend. My dad called and explained what happened, I instantly hated Crable even more.

Everyone should listen to

Everyone should listen to this. I am 16 years old and I always threw from a 3/4 arm slot since I can remember. It always worked though. I was consistently one of the better pitchers in the league in little league and one of the best pitchers in the Shelby County. I can no longer throw at all though. My second position was third base, and I am now only a first baseman because I cannot bare to throw anymore. It hurts my arm too bad. I dont care how good your little pitcher is pitching you need to teach him to throw the right way, even if he does not get as good results. I can no longer play my favorite position (third) because I cant throw anymore.

I have always wondered this.

I have always wondered this. Ever since in elementary school when people used to say "they call soccer football and football soccer in England"

My dad showed me this a

My dad showed me this a couple weeks ago. I was instantly in awe of how a one year old kid can do more pull ups than me. and the "I would love for him to play football at the University of Michigan" line just made it all the more awesome for me.

shooting a AK47 with a

shooting a AK47 with a hundred round clip all over the screen

Im being forced to watch it

Im being forced to watch it tonight with my girlfriend. Im thinking about stabbing my eyes out with some plastic forks? If I go I promise you will see me on the news shooting up the part of the screen where Jacob is. So watch the news tonight to see if i snapped.

My Dad always let me so close

My Dad always let me get so close to winning I could taste it, but he never let me win. I believe that is why I am so competitive. Even as a child I can rememeber playing horse H-O-R-S to H-O-R-S then him taking his ALWAYS game winner "glass" shot off the backboard and in for the win. If we threw baseball he always threw my pop flys just out of reach of my outstretched glove, even if I was diving (he had a knack for that). Anytime he pitched to me in the front yard it would always be belt-high and outside, because he knew from watching me play that was the only pitch I could not read wether it was a ball or strike. I believe this is what makes me so competitive. He forced me to constantly get better, always so close to victory but never quite there. If you played a game of anything with me today I am the most competitive person you will ever meet. Its just my nature. I hate losing, I love winning. If I lose, I strive to be better. I think that because my dad did this I am the person I am today. I am fairly good at any sport I play, and academically I am in the top 100 in my highschool class of 800. I'm not the best at everything I do, but you can be sure that i bust my ass at anythng and everything I do. I start 3rd base as a freshman in high school on the varsity team. I am the second best WR (stats wise) on the varsity football team and I have a 3.5 GPA. None of those are outstanding or amazing but I do believe I am good at what I do because my dad pushed me as a kid to constantly get better, no matter what we were doing.

True. Didnt think of that. +1

True. Didnt think of that. +1 for leaving me speechless.

Yes. I dont think they

Yes. I dont think they stopped playing hard though. Everyone knows in a Michigan-Ohio State game embarrassing the oponent would be the only thing better than a win.

I fully understand that. I

I fully understand that. I just think that these sights are basing their opinion off of last season, not the improvments, the pracitces, and film. I understand where they are coming from. I just think they dont really understand what they are talking about.

Yeah, because im sure the

Yeah, because im sure the Ohio State Buckeyes would settle for only beating us by 11 when they "could have won by more". We would have done the same thing right?

NO

The secret is different

The secret is different email. I used 3 different emails on the same server and triple tapped.

I dont know anything about

I dont know anything about soccer. At all. I do know that we have be better in the first half though. Thats my take on the games. Once again. I know nothing about soccer so i cant go in depth. I just know we need to improve our first half.

I did not take that into

I did not take that into account. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. +1

I understand that completely.

I understand that completely. But I would still like to see Denard start. I have wanted to see him start since last year before he started throwing so badly. I'm for some reason really big on him.

Im not very good on grammar

Im not very good on grammar and punctuation, so I really don't know where I messed up. Thanks for the heads up though, I will keep looking.

EDIT: I caught all the I's i did not capitalize

Very true. I have always been

Very true. I have always been a fan of Denard though. I still want to see him start. At least until he makes too many mistakes to ignore.

I personally love when people

I personally love when people rip michigan.

Were going to have a 8 or 9 win season this year, 7 at the very least. We will get to a bowl, even if it isnt a spectacular one, and we will surprise everyone of these sportswriters that have us doing horribly this year, even though they know nothign about UM football and have spent zero time doing research on incoming recruits and watching Tate and Denard improve this spring.

I got my stats off of espn.

I got my stats off of espn. Their numbers are conflicting with NCAA and team sites sometimes.

That was my thinking behind

That was my thinking behind this question, but that was not my assumption. That is why i put "costing a team" instead of  "that horrible call made a minute ago that will cost us this years World Cup"

He is and i agree 100%. I

He is and i agree 100%. I was just wondering if costing someone a perfect game was worse than costing a team The World Cup.

Yes and if you put all

Yes and if you put all uneeded sarcasm aside you realize he is trying to tell you that  in those years the QB had alot of run plays too.

04- Rasheed Marshall 169 rush attempts

05- Pat White 131 rush attemtps

06- Pat White 165 rush attempts

07- Pat Whtie 197 rush attempts

I do not know how many of those were designed QB run plays but i do know that the ratio of QB runs to "anyone other than QB" runs were

04- 169-250 (40%)

05- 131-486 (21%)

06-  165-422 (28%)

07- 197-425 (32%)

So Rich has QB runs about 30% of the time on average.

Denard would be better for that style offense.

That is what he was trying to say.

I dont know about third

I dont know about third string but everything else you said seems to be on point with what i believe after watching those videos.

Yeah im pretty sure

I said "i know its early" in my post. I was not making a big deal of it. I was just intresed in what people thought. No one was really freaking out.

With your MGoName

I would have assumed you would be on Tates side. I guess you have to keep the element of surprise right?

My bad..

its Denard now.

I still want to know why he has Nebraska

as our annual crossover game as opposed to Minnesota, Penn State, or Iowa?

Sorry guys

Didn't see it. Neg away for not paying attention.

Even if it is way to early...

Thats not what he asked. He asked who you guys would recruit and who is your favorites at every position. I have not payed enough to recruiting as a whole to provide my favorite for every position, but i like Valdez Showers and Kevin Sousa.

I read somewhere

thats the wing on the helmet made it easier for the QB to see the wide receiver in traffic.

probably

because he posts good informative stuff that he researched and has information to back it up, and if you didnt notice the two comments posted above yours are all from a movie.

This kid is a beast.

I know he is playing high school level competition but he has exceptional speed, great moves on offense and great hustle and tackling on defense. Michigan could definitely use this kid.

That was an unbelievable article

I just got a lot more respect for Jim Joyce. The way he reacted was real classy. Thanks for bringing this article to my attention.

Looks great

Me and my dad are going to a Michigan game this year. It will be his first since he was 15 and still living in Flint, and my first ever. I am very excited about the new renovations. It will surely be one of the most exciting days of my life that day.

Depends

Watching the spring video games from http://mgoblog.com/category/post-type/denard-robinson I think he will score roughly around that area, probably over. If he starts and progresses like he has been, easily over.

I love

Steve Breston, Mike Hart, Manningham, Henne, Arrington and everyone else that played on the team the year we were undefeated going into the last game of the season, at Ohio State. (06)

Last name of your favorite player.

Unless they just have too long of a last name. i would go with Henne, Arrington, Braylon (i know its his first name), Hart, or you could name him Tate.

Top 4

Manningham, Arrington, Mathews, Breaston. Braylon is not on the list because he is before my time.

Its not "good"

but its not "its really not good". We are doing good for the past three years. Were coming back. We have an up and coming QB with a decent recievers, and lots of good recruits. We will be fine in a couple of years. Amani doesnt know what he is talking about.
