- Simms lied on air, with Rodgers somewhat verifying that lie on the radio show. Rodgers can say Simms misinterpreted him and that he just prefers the ball overinflated, but never instructed someone to overinflate them. Simms could even agree, just to cover his boy and get better access in the future. How serious then, is the NFL? Go check all the balls and meter reads and all that. Ignore the science just as they did with Brady. Get the text messages from the ball boys. Does anything say overinflate or in any way intimate something similar? If you're thinking this is too much trouble, and more importantly if the NFL is thinking the same, for what amounts to very reliable anecdotal information, then the "integrity of the game" argument is bunk. And your best indicator that it is in actuality bunk is the fact that the NFL isn't looking at Rodgers at all.
- Simms insists he was telling the truth and Rodgers denies, essentially calling him a liar. Drama ensues. Same investigation as above, if integrity is the thing.
- Rodgers agrees that he said it and did it. Now you have an admission and immediate 4 game suspension. The NFL looks like complete idiots.

Is it a 7on7 thing too, or just testing? Would love to see more on St-Juste. Marcus Ray worked the camp when Michigan offered, and he was faint in his praise. But that's about the extent of what I've heard on him

There's a link in the rcmb thread noting Cook's low velocity on his passes. I'd guess that's marrying up with shoulder concerns and him being a dick lollipop and causing him to fall.
Still, this kid was hyper accurate much of the time, made some incredibly clutch plays for them. It's not an Alabama thing where the kid finishes with a great career record because he hands the ball off. They would have lost several games, probably 4-5?, the last two years with a Hackenberg-type equivalent. He was inconsistent though, disappearing from games against even bad opponents. It is odd. That apparently all summed up to a big "nah" from nfl teams

The Peppers arm coming in absolutely does make that gif
I missed the comments in the last round, but the Harbaugh/Drevno exchange doesn't seem that awkward to me. Harbaugh unfairly changes at the last minute (he even fucks with people he's celebrating with) and Drevno actually sort of pulls off the switch. There's no uncomfortable eye contact or accidental penis brush. This is a middle aged white guy moment that could have very much gone off the rails, but they both still turn toward the field and grin satisfactorily. I'll be disappointed if that keeps moving on.

It's easily confirmed as an admission with two phone calls: 1) Phil Simms: did Rodgers tell you this, as you claimed on the air on such and such date? Yes? OK. 2) Aaron Rodgers: did you tell Phil Simms this? Yes? Have you instructed anyone to overinflate balls as you have just admitted? Yes? OK.
No months-long investigation at this point. If they're serious, then here are the options:

From that PFT article you cite above. Every school recruiting against OSU has every right to bring that up and hammer it home. It's a daming statement coming straight from the Offensive Coordinator.

"Most are split between Clark and Stribling". Harbaugh has said Stribling is a "locked in stone" starter. They've got him well ahead of Clark.
2nd round or higher is outrageous for a player who's currently a backup and found himself lost on a lot of balls. I've never seen the hips on Clark that would suggest he could consistently stay with and beat NFL wide receivers, which is what you need at 2nd round levels. He'd be a project at the moment, late or undrafted free agent. If he improves his play and shows what's needed for a 2nd round pick, this will be a scary good defense.

You also forgot Butt (which, how?), and Darboh who's going to get fl drafted mid rounds if he has the breakout year many are talking about. Stribling also has a chance to get drafted mid-late based on his performance (though this is much longer shot, we don't know, but size everyone loves these days is there), as do both Thomas and Hill. Thomas has all the speed and athleticism you'd want in a safety, if he's a playmaker and executes his assignments he could go high adyer a breakout year on a dominant defense. Hill is huge, strong, and fast, he'll test well at the combine (hopefully) or pro day; if he improves and makes plays he could go mid rounds as well. Again lots of variance on those 3, but I'd bet at least one of them goes mid rounds or bether (probably Thomas).
Also bet someone will fall in love with Braden's size and take him late. Lots of starts in the B1G, he could prove something this year.

You say this as if it's new. Alum96 and many others besides him have been mentioning this for about a year. But since we're more than a year from this roster changeover, and this thread is offering nothing new on the subject, there's no need to re-hash this bash.

I thought Hutch was a little rough on that batter who hit the leadoff double, and didn't tag and wait. From my ballplaying days she got it exactly right: ball that could have been in the gap, straddle second and third until you know. If it's caught you're probably not advancing anyway, and if it drops and you're waiting on second you may not make it home, depending on how that ball comes off the wall. Maybe she wasn't listening to Hutch on 3rd, in which case I recant - got to listen to the 3rd base coach if theyve got a preference on that, especially if it's the head coach.

This is part of how Harbaugh is preparing to win the battle before they ever see the field. The opposing coaches will catch hell for this, and they don't have a counterargument. He's de-pantsing them in their own players' eyes, and continuing to create passion and loyalty in his own team. One of the many volleys he's sent over his short year here and with more and more to come before he sees another SEC/Sparty/not-friend-in-football team on the field. This is some Sun Tzu shit right here.
