Yeah I've always laughed at that part of the concert.  Constant reminder that M lost the 1970 Rose Bowl.  Great concert though.  Hendrix was at his best with Band of Gypsies.  Wish he lived long enough to record more with Cox and Miles.

Got stuck working today while my coworkers and one of my buddies played golf with a tee time I reserved.  Not to mention it was at a private club that's a bitch to get on, and the weather was perfect.

BTW, my in-laws arrived today for the weekend.
