Damnit

Was that what you got during Pickett's Charge?

2.2 Yards Per Casualty?

Once you bust through, though,

there's not much you can do. Probably better to go full speed at the quarterback, hope to get him to flinch.

Are you sure?

That Tywin is Tyrion's daddy, I mean.

After significant thought and analysis,

I'd say the Tigers have a 58% chance of making the playoffs. Interestingly, 538 has the exact same estimate.

Not to the public It's my understanding that Brian has been asking for game tape for awhile now.
DL actually graded at

57.5.

OP should

clarify source of information, particularly if it is a paywalled site so that they at least get an advertisement.

It's obvious

that ESPN cannot be objective about the SEC due to its financial interests. I suppose it's fine to point this out on a regular basis, but the proper response in my opinion is to simply treat them for what they are, a propaganda source, and ignore them appropriately.

Simple

1. Root for Michigan

2. Sire a 4-5 star football player

UFR!

UFR! UFR!

That is all.

Jay Harbaugh has

He's done it a few times.

Double negative? Does that mean it IS Mecole Hardman?
"Tom" if boy,

"Brady" if girl.

My take

EPIC DOUBLE-POST!!!!!

My take

Football started out as a college sport only, and it should go back to that tradition. The human body cannot stand the rigors of football for that long. The removal of a pro football career option should also reduce the amount of damage caused to kids in K-12, as their parents won't be pushing them so hard in order to get on the money train. Let them get their college degrees and move on with life.

He is improperly using English in a proper manner, though he should have used 'haz'.
We thank you

for your efforts in extending the boundaries of human knowledge.

Obviously?

Please, tell us more...

Leave it to a Buckeye

to know all about cat-skinning...

Good to know, thanks

Thought "meta" extended to the entire industry, not just MGoBlog.

Fair enough

It just seems to me that if you're going to have a "score", that you would want a single metric that captures everything rather than two metrics which capture different traits. Otherwise, how do you know who wins?

A suggestion to the 247 mods (who I'm sure are following this thread closely): give extra points to the 1st person to correctly make a prediction.

a bit unclear

Were the 3 follows "right after" he received the offer, or "previous" to the offer? Important distinction...

Ok, but

if the score isn't a good gauge for how accurate a predictor is, to the point where people ignore it entirely in favor of the percentage, why would predictors want to try and get a good score?

Thanks!

I agree, there doesn't seem to be much point to the score, which makes me wonder why they bother to calculate it.

The difference a comma makes.
Harbaugh kills what he eats None of this mamby-pamby butcher crap.
I like 4 because it keeps OSU out this year.
That's what he said, for sure

double-post. aargh.

That's what he said, for sure

Harbaugh and Hackett haven't said anything, as far as I know.

Maybe not too surprising

"It is a little surprising that he wasn't the primary recruiter for a single other commit of ours."

Maybe he told Harbaugh he was a one-n-done a year ago.

Maybe Harbaugh is no slouch.

Hard to make excuses

for something that hasn't yet happened. We're talking about who coaches in the bowl game, and unless I've been in a coma it's still early December.

As you point out,

He was playing for a National Championship. We are not.

"A Michigan Man will coach Michigan"

-Bo Schembechler

This guy's going to be spending every second from now 'till January trying to put together a recruiting class for Maryland. Why would we want him to coach in the bowl game? How much time do you honestly feel he will put into a game plan?

Let's get someone

with lots of experience against good teams who play the spread.

Anyone think

Durkin was mailing it in the last few weeks while interviewing for head coaching gigs?

I was a grad student at Cal-Berkeley in the 90's. Steve Mariucci took the head coaching job in 1996, won his first 6 games in a row, then lost the final 6. Next year he was coaching the 49ers. Pretty good move for a 6-6 coach.

So,

When do we get the special teams UFR?

Do they have bars in Dublin?
Just as funny

the second time!

Should've made a dig

about the SEC-ESPN ties. Other than that, excellent.

Trying to kick out the light

Woman tried to stop him.

Drama is the word

If you recall, when he was making his "decision" between UCLA and Michigan he tweeted a bunch about how it was so hard to choose, even after everyone in the recruiting biz had him as a UCLA lock. Now, months after the fact, we know that he had been dissing Harbaugh at some of his other school visits. It was all a big show.

1,000-0

Right when Michigan scores its thousandth point the skies open, a light shines down on the Big House, a booming voice (which sounds eerily similar to James Earl Jones) intones "Hail to the Victors Valiant!", and Harbaugh and the team are immediately raptured.

The rest of us leave with quizzical looks on our faces, wondering how we'll spend our Saturdays.

It be full.

:(

You Suck!

There. See how it feels? Doesn't feel very good, does it now?
