Good or bad that he is committing before Harbaugh visits on 1/25?

I always get angered by the lack of discussing the 1997 team while waxing on about OSU 2002.

dressed as Jim Harbaugh. I think all Mgoblog attendees should do the same, and perhaps get a group photo.
I am sitting with a bunch of rabid Gophers fans. (My friend is the son of the U Minn CFO and has great seats). I will be tailgating right next to the stadium, albeit surrounded by Gophers fans, if anyone wants to join.

Random question -- If a team advances to the NC game, do their players received twice the swag? I mean, everybody needs 2 PS4s.

Unfortunately, compliance buyouts that impact this upcoming season's cap number had to be announced by July 1st. Now, any compliance buyout will apply towards the following season. Thus, the only way to bring the Wings under the cap is to make a trade/salary dump, or put some waivers-free players in the minors -- namely Dekeyser and Nyquist. I don't like the latter option, but the former requires other teams to be interested in Sammy, Bert, or most likely, Tootoo.

I'm a 2008 MLaw grad. It's a tough market out there for baby lawyers. Do you have any personal connections in private practice? Now is the time to cash in any chips you might have. Also, I'd recommend looking for job postings in state bar associations' webpages. Generally, they have a number of firm positions that aren't on Symplicity. If you find a posting that appears promising, see if there is an alum at the firm and reach out to them instead of blindly submitting application materials to recruiting coordinators. Your resume will carry a lot more weight with the powers that be in a firm if they get it from an attorney already working for them. It does work. In fact, it's how I found my current position.
Best of luck in your search.

It screws Nashville because much of the cap hit is tied up in bonuses. The contract has bonuses of $13 million the first two years, with a salary of $1 million... so, in the first two years, Nashville will have to find $28 million for Weber's services. It's a lot for a small market team. Soooo, yeah, smart move by Philly. Really puts the pressure on Nashville. Oh, and if Nashville matches, they can't trade Weber until the end of next season, per the CBA, so they will have to pay ~ $27 million for one year of his services prior to trading him. It's rough for the Preds.

To Ace's list, add something from Kid Rock and/or Bob Seger.
Stand alone suggestion, just grab Jock Jams (the original) and push play.
