I have to commend the OP. |
| 1 day 6 hours ago | His baseball career... |
...may have humbled him but may not have really changed him completely |
| 1 day 6 hours ago | No order but I like: |
No order but I like: Franklin - Hard nosed winner, great option QB Wangler - Also a winner and our first real passer - won Bo's first Rose Bowl Harbaugh - You gotta like his guarantee vs Ohio Elvis - 10-0-1 I believe Griese - Of course the NC Brady - Competition kept him off the field but when called upon he won. He also beat Bama in his last game. Lloyd should have just gone with Brady. Henson bailed anyway. Henne - Great passer, leader, and won a lot of tough games. Denard - what's not to like. A great Michigan Man. I'd take him anyday over Leach as an option QB and of course he was/is a great, humble, man of character. |
| 1 day 6 hours ago | Rick Leach --- NOOOOOOO! |
How can anyone pick Rick Leach as the greatest QB on the greatest team. Every year ended in disapointment. Sure he was a 4 year starter and a great athlete. But: He lost at least 2 games every year. He couldn't pass...he missed a lot of passes...and that's when he did throw. He made everyone nervous everytime he dropped back to pass. Sure we were an option team but who could pick as their favorite, a QB that can't pass. He lost the final game every year. Every year ended in disapointment. Finally as many here from that time have said, he was a well known jerk on campus. Took advantage of his fame with every girl he could. Was a conceeded .... Never a Michigan Man with today's definition. If he had twitter when he was recuited he probably would have been dropped. He also, as everyone knows, criticized Carr because he talked to an opposing team member after retirement. He's still a jerk. If you wan't to pick an option QB pick Dennis Franklin. He was much much better. Three year starter. 10-1 in 1972 10-0-1 in 1973 and broke his collarbone vs Ohio in a tie. 10-1 in 1974 and lost to Ohio by 2 points. And after Leach we had Wangler. He was much better too. Won Bo's first Rose Bowl. And the most exciting plays were when Wangler passed...especially to AC. |

Thank God Denard avoided 15 years on futility and incompetent ownership. |

Looking for your mod action sticky on "Alternate Ending". |

Thank you for pointing that out. |
| 6 weeks 2 days ago | The Title |
The title sucked. I missed that. Somebody mentioned it here. Thank you. "WE wON" was terrible. The team was awesome, the shirts were awesome, it didn't belong in this. Edited. As far as the rest of the comments, I clearly forgot the audience here. Plus, my experiment of mixing the style of the Onion, with a where's waldo of NCAA scandals, making fun of fans' alternate realities, and the emotions/synaciscm of mgoblog was clearly a faceplant. Somebody post the video of the dude on the bike. HaHa |

This is the 2013 team's moment to shine and that means it's the wrong time for a Fab Five reunion. Webber is staying out of the media because as he tweeted "it's your (their) time now" |

| 7 weeks 4 days ago | The AD should be fired too |
Because the AD fired the whistle blower and only gave the coach a fine and a suspension. Rutgers is a state school. I doubt Christie will put up with this. |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | It should be a great game |
We match up well. To beat Syracuse you need one or two point guards with great vision and that can handle the ball. And you need " ... three things typically beat a zone defense: offensive rebounds, 3-point shots, and transition baskets. " As long as we don't get frustrated it will be an incredible game. |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | All the plays mentioned are on CBS highlight video |
But I can't imbed their code in the mgoblog editor |
| 7 weeks 5 days ago | Never |
Not sure the data is availalbe but I'll bet that's never happened before. Most of the time there is one guy that carries the team, maybe two. Usually there is a big man or power forward that gets a lot of boards but can't shoot. This has to be the most balanced team of shooters ever.

Nice highlight video. Too bad about the sound track. And why didn't you make it available on mobile? |

It was live on NCAA.com. Seniors went first then the whole team and finally Coach B. Very Michigan Man like. Hopefully someone captured it. |
| 8 weeks 13 hours ago | Best game of his career? |
"I think we've just seen the best game of his career." Brian I strongly dissagree...this was not McGary's best game of his career. It may not yet even be his best game of the season. |

| 8 weeks 1 day ago | Beat Down |
McGary just did a beat down of Withey. His last game was great against a small team but no one expected the beat down of Withey. McGary is my new favorite player after Burke. This guy is all over the floor and never gives up. No one is hustling more than McGary in the last few games. Better than Noel...no question |
| 9 weeks 12 hours ago | Let's not forget... |
What a great game by coach B. |
| 9 weeks 12 hours ago | Spike |
My second favorite player of this game behind McGary. He wasnt the second best player but what a great ball handler to have in there against a defense like VCU. Not sure why VCU never seemed to double team Spike? |
| 9 weeks 12 hours ago | Partying |
He was out to late last night...no doubt. |
| 9 weeks 13 hours ago | McGary |
MCGary is the player of the game so far and was the player of the first half. I can't believe Barkley and the other idiot commentators only talked about Burke, Hardaway, and GRIII at the half. |
