Help me out. The DT should be reading his guard here right? Once he pulls he should be fighting over the face of the T to fill that gap. I'm old school and was taught to read through the guard to the backfield. What's the proper key here then?
I've got two young boys that watch the world going on around them. Truth isn't truth, lying is okay if you are winning, be good at sports and you can do whatever you want... I thought my dad had it rough bringing me up, but damn this is almost near impossible. Do the right thing buddy even though everyone around you is cheating and getting ahead... Don't get me wrong, I'll still fight the good fight and teach my boys a better way, the Michigan way that I know, it just shouldn't be this hard.

When the legs are fatigued the shot feels the same but miss because you don’t have as much lift. You start making adjustments with your release and that’s a crap shoot. Tournament chances are looking really good with this defense. The week+ of rest is going to help this team.
Incredible play in the defensive zone right now but seem to be really passive when they get it into the ND zone. Wish we still had our TO. One more goal Blue!
It’s not so much UCLA, although this will probably be our best non conference win, it’s the fight this team displayed coming back. Nothing went right today yet they stayed together and fought. That a great sign for the rest of the season.
I had to replace a keg in my keezer during the game. I just couldn’t watch another implosion. I’m checking back in during the second half and see that we are coming back. Finish tapping right after our second 3 in overtime.

Bringing the MGoWife, several alumni and hopefully a driver! We will be at the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club. I'll have the black van, TV, and a ton of beer! Game tix were way too expensive this year to try and get 7 seats together.

That's total BS! Take the best kids that fit your system that will totally buy into what you want to do. It's no joke that MSU is where they are at because they develop talent. We need to do that as well. Did I expect to win this game? No. Did I expect to be embarrassed? No. Way too many times we showed no fight. If I was Harbaugh I would show how many times our offensive lineman missed a block and then just stood there to watch our back get tackled. I would show them how many times we allowed our d-line to get blocked and be fine with that. There was absolutely no fight. We need to get nasty in a rivalry game where all you want to do is punch the other team in the mouth. Miss a block whatever, but then make a corner or safety pay for it. So far to go up front on both defense and offense.
There is a difference between a loss and a loss like today. Where was the fight? Where was the attitude? Just didn't show up for a rivalry game. I'm here all the time even though I don't comment. What I saw today was a team that treated this like any other game. You have to set the tone in this game. You have to fight you have to get some personal fouls. No fight, no win!
If I see one more Michigan lineman watch as our back gets tackled I'm going to need a new projector screen because I'm going to throw a bar stool through it.

This wasn't going to be our year anyway. This was another learning moment for the guys. They never expected to play this much and the physical and mental demands are catching up with them. This team will improve a lot over the course of the season and through the offseason. They will bulk up and get more sound in their fundamentals. Tonight wasn't fun to watch but when you've seen a team play way out of their league for two games then eventually you are who you are.
Grab a few shots of Basil Hayden and settle down. I think it's impressive that our Z team is doing so well.
I think our offense would give Kentucky a run for their money. They overplay the screens too much and leave themselves open to the short roll. They are relying on people taking it deep to their shot blockers when the short range shot is there for the taking. Their offense isn't impressive at all, but it's early in the season.
I can't stop laughing at the dramtic performance from Drew & Marc! This is absolutely hillarious. The best part is that they aren't making this up. I still can't believe that our AD responds like this. There is a HUGE delete button for a reason. In addition, don't we have a massive budget to emply someone to filter out the antagonizing messages. At the very least there's got to be an intern.
If this was happening to any other University, I would was to print shirts that read "quit drinking and go to bed." Awesome and so sad at the same time.

I went back to the recording, as painful as that was, because I couldn't believe this was true either. There is no way they screw this up again. BUT... yep, 10 guys. I counted 11 times to be sure, it wasn't that hard.
These things really shouldn't surprise or upset me anymore, but unfortunately they do.
For the simple fact that it bumped Brandon down the page. I hated seeing that ungly mug everytime I came here after that interview post went up. I appreciated the work by Ace, but man Brandon just infuriates me.
This is what pisses me off the most about his interviews. As unbelievable as it sounds, Brandon said that he was so totally preoccupied by this investigation that he couldn't save Hoke from misleading everyone. Then in the middle of the night, while the reputation of the University was under attack, he released a statement. He doesn't take the hour or so it would have taken to hold a press conference and put this matter to bed, but instead he hides on South campus. Meanwhile, several major media outlets all over the country are questioning the competency of the head coach that you hired, your competency, and the competency of several parts of the University. Brandon stated that he had better things to do with his time.
I will defend the reputation of the University of Michigan with my last breath. We are the greatest institution of higher learning on the planet. We have a long and proud history that has been built not only on our athletic success, but on our academic success as well.
The fact that Brandon couldn't find time in his busy schedule to defend this great university for three plus days is beyond sickening.
Great for the players and I hope it picks them up. I just don't like the message it is sending to the rest of the teams. This is telling them that the only ones that support them are the ones in the building when nothing could be further than the truth. The fans love these kids and really do appreciate the hard work they are putting in. We just believe that they deserve better leaders. The AD doesn't want that message in his department though. The fans are a distraction that are a necessary evil. It's only the people that are on South Campus that matter and everyone else can shut up.
I get that the kid is frustrated with the whole situation but attacking fans isn't the way to deal with this. It's unfortunate that this is the sentiment from many of the student athletes on campus and I thnk it's because of the AD. They don't value fans and that culture is spreading down to the athletes.
Soon it's not going to be music they're pumping into the studium but artificial crowd noise because people can only take so much.
