I can’t even imagine that it would even get to this point. Why even play (Im looking at you Warde)? The conversation should be: Whatever you want John..... Im stunned that the interview even happened. Warde has an easy job- do whatever Harbaugh and Beilein want and get the hell out of the way.
Just found his career, as a whole, to be very disappointing. No bowl games. Big whiff on third down play Vs OSU at the Shoe. I think, not sure, 1 or two run backs for a TD. I found his career to be “incomplete” as a whole, if I was giving a grade.
Dabo ...the beacon on integrity. Seriously, is your post a joke? I spend a lot of time in South Carolina and the SE seaboard, I find Clemson annoying and any notion of Clemson being this beacon of good conduct absolutely absurd.
I'm embarrassed that I didn't know about this or I would have gone. Thanks for posting. Keen stadium is the biggest sporting dump of a facility on the planet. No air conditioning. In September those volleyball games are borderline unbearable due to the heat. It's embarrassing to showcase Michigan volleyball in that hole, and I'm a volleyball season ticket holder. Fix keen! (All the Keen angst isn't directed at you)
I went on the graveyard walk last night. It was great. I'd like to contribute to this walk by buying you a bullhorn or some apparatus that allows you to project your voice. I'm not being a smart ass. I thought if you had a bullhorn or some speaking device it would help in the future. I was going to buy it for you as a token of my appreciation for your efforts. Not sure how we connect. Thanks again for your great work. Go blue.
I couldn't agree with you more. Forget these damn polls, pull our heads out of our ass, and focus on Indiana. Winning cures all. Forget these polls and stupid projections. Didn't we learn anything from last week?
For a time when we most need it- like the end of the game yesterday. My comment isn't directed at you, I'm just frustrated with this thought that we are holding plays back for a future game as opposed to when we most need them (i.e. last night). Again not directed at you just a bit disillusioned with our fourth quarter and predictable play calling.
We couldn't stop a run only offense last night. Wait until the two headed monster (Weber and Barrett) of Ohio state shows up, I think we are in real trouble.
If you ever convert to digital format that would be something to see. Great story and, I'm sure, interesting film. Please post here if you ever can/ feel like. Maybe Nov 10, 2017
If you go with the attitude that you're going to get vibed, it isn't a fun place, and keep your mouth shut - you'll be fine. I've gone numerous times but I go with the attitude I'm a guest in their dumpy house. I don't engage with anyone. Don't put your colors on until you walk to the stadium (or good luck parking and merging with traffic). Honestly, it's fine as long as you know your place. I've gone to dozens of European and Brazilian soccer matches - where there is a good chance of bodily harm. In Columbus, just know your place. I'd go to the UM alumni tailgate and then walk to the game. Get in the stadium early. High level of douche bags in Columbus, I've never had a good time.
I've been in Brasil huddled around an eight track player (or some concoction) to hear the end of the UM-OSU game (Henson waggle play to beat the Buckeyes). So I appreciate your story. So kudos back to you, I'm in east Lansing and just told your story above to six of my wolverine buddies. We all had a big grin. Free beer on me in A2. Go blue! Great story
Not kidding. Rent a car. You need to show nothing on the outside they hints of being a Michigan fan. You can park near the stadium. I keep a low profile until I leave my car. I don't wear a hat or any Michigan identifying marks until I park. Otherwise no one will let your car merge, may not let you park, and just general hassle. So prepare to get vibes. Rent a car. Park. Then gear up. Go blue.
I am so glad you posted this - I think a lot of the negative posts were not around in 97 and don't remember the endless shilling by Scott Frost, and his tears, and announcer Jim Nantz. It was pathetic at best. Michigan got jobbed. I'm so glad you didn't forget. I hope Michigan puts 97 on UCF.
In the stands. Just shut it down. Or bring back the beer. Seriously if that photo wasn't taken 4 hours before kickoff, then EMU should just hang it up.
The normal pre game and post game coverage was horrible. Why is this show going to be any better? Stanley Jackson, Denardo, mason - just awful awful. Only thing worse may be Calloway and Kanell. This new idea should suck. Cheers.
Look at how fast the yards fly by....its been a while (or denard) since we enjoyed speed, vision and talent like that in the backfield. Let him suit up.
I thought those morning guys were getting better. The morning group of 7-10 with Marc and Belegian (so?) were kind of catching their stride. Sort of a welcome change from the long summer days of Wtka. I love Wtka but, with Sam out, it is really rough. I liked 105.1 in the morning. I think they crapped the bed when the got rid of drew and Marc.
I've been to pretty much all the bowl games except Bowl games in Texas or Arizona. I enjoy the Florida bowl games, whether in Orlando or Tampa. Jacksonville is a dump. As for New Orleans, I don't know - everyone trying too hard to be drunk. I love the New Orleans restaurants but consider me tired on New Orleans and the Vegas scene. It's like the New Year's Eve story, everyone trying to hard to do something crazy or fun. Anyway I'll go back to telling kids to stay off my lawn. That being said- the Florida bowls are fun- game and vacation in late December.
