I watched the game with my younger brother, who is an Optometrist (Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris), and he was appalled at the idea of sending him back into the game at ANY point. The first words out of his mouth were "either detached retina or bad concussion," when the announcers mentioned the loss of vision in his eye. Obviously, it wasn't the first of two possible injuries but it was a risk nonetheless. |
