I used to stay on Ford Road in Canton. Not a bad drive and rooms were always under $100. A few places to eat there and of course, The Rusty Nail.

Have fun. #GoBlue!

I work from home so my typical go to weekday lunch is the hottie down the hall in 4C.

Spring baseball is about the atmosphere and the tradition of a day game. The way the weather has been recently ( I live in Sarasota  ) the Grapefruit League experience will be top notch. Lakeland is not a great winter destination.  See the Tigers outside of their home park. Sarasota, Bradenton, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte,  Clearwater all have good parks with way more to do than in Lakeland. Port Charlotte may be a stretch there but the Ray's are something to watch.

As noted in another post, Venice, between Sarasota and Port Charlotte will have the Braves full time starting next spring.

Have fun and Go Blue!

I managed to trade for Fournette to add to McKinnon, Cook, Gordon and Connor, all whom I drafted. I picked up Martin from the waiver wire. Amaizingly, there has been only one week where I could have used all of them, if the rules allowed. So many injuries.

Let's not be all judgy there Holder. Plenty of Lightning fans, myself included have been around the game as players, fans and some coaches and know the game. Thanks for being an authority one something you don't know anything about...like your comment.

I'd love M to have the CFP option this year, but I'm not sure I could watch them get Jailsexed like Sparty did by Bama. Glass half full, I guess.

Vanilla got the team here for this moment and they are down by 5, leaving nothing new on tape for OSU to adjust for at halftime. Now is the time where things change. Grind a little more,  keep it close and close it out with little to no time for them to make changes.

Good thing that play won't show up on his upperclassman film. He's  a freshman,  who make mistakes.  Look at the difference in Josh Metellus, look how far he has come. He still may be that All-American.

Love Buddy's pizza! It is a Detroit staple, or has been all my life. Always hit one when in the area as I now live in FL.

I watched the Tyler Trent segment on Game Day. It was heartwrenching. I haven't been so moved by a story like his, even the two elementary school aged kids that both succumbed to Pediatric Cancer at my daughters school over the last two years. It's not fair! Godspeed Tyler. I for one will never forget your fight. People like you and Larry Prout are inspiring.

Chad, football aside, as a Florida resident for over 20 years, thank you for helping my fellow Floridians who have had their lives altered by nature. I hope one of them takes the time to say thank you, it's the greatest gift you can give someone who has been affected by disaster.

I second the Quicken statements. The local options are always better, that includes the big banks, not just Quicken. Don't find one on your own, ask a Realtor for a referral. They know who can get your loan done and how. Professional disclaimer: always start the home buying process with a Realtor. Find the right one, not always the first one and not always a friend or relative. You won't regret it.
Wasn't in the cards New Deal!
Met his Dad ar the Outback Bowl against NW...my good friend's wife is a Tenn alum. Talked with his father for most of the game. Really enjoyed his company and was very impressed by him and his demeanor etc. Joked with him about M really wanting him and being disappointed that he signed elsewhere. He smiled but never really gave me a reason. I didn't press him but was hoping he'd offer it up. Really nice man and can only imagine his son is no different. Would love to have him...finally.
Question What is the Santa clause?
I just threw up in my mouth. Do they sell it room temperature in a wax cup?
Casey at the Bat Just playing. Only The Ball Was White.
Coaches often believe as they lengthen their tenure with a team, the expectation is that players will grasp more and more concepts etc. In the NFL you see a new QB get a watered down version of an offense until they catch on to the system. This is true for rookies and traded players alike. We hear the term "open the playbook". That comes when the coach thinks it is the right time. In his third year and as his older recruits become more seasoned, perhaps JH decided it was time to put in another layer. Most freshmen aren't game ready as soon as they step on campus, allowing them to build their bodies but also the knowledge of the teams systems and plays. After 2-3 years of those concepts and terminology, it shouldn't be an issue, however M had so many underclassmen all over the field, perhaps the time wasn't quite right.
I'm on my way... just set me free...#GoBlue! Congratulations and welcome to the Big House.
I have no idea. It just struck me as somewhat odd. I'm curious. It's possible she's married but unlikely. Hyphenated last names aren't always passed down to kids. Maybe one day someone will ask her and we'll all know, then.
Welcome Makailah! I'm intrigued by the hyphenated last name. She is in high school, after all.
Ask Chandandler Bong. He knows everything there is to know about weanesses.
Hahahahaha .
+1 And add me to that list, so...+1.
Football ?? 2nd in the B1G east.
Well In his 1997 Masters win, all the players I mentioned were in that field. Competition, not that weekend, nobody was. He blew everyone out. Same at the 2000 US Open. 15 strokes clear of the field. The 2002 US Open runner up was Mickleson. He won the 2000 Open by 8 over Ernie Els and again by 2 in 2006. Anyway, my point is those others were at the high points of their career while Tiger was around and winning. Vijay won the Masters and Tiger finished 5th.
We get your point , well said but you cherry picked a little. Perhaps you should have used names like Nick Price, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh as Tiger's competition instead of those you did. Yang beat him, sure but he was already struggling at that point in time. I think he was trying to say that there is more competition now from a larger group of capable players and to this point, I would agree. There are a lot of guys that can win majors now, not just the same six each time. Martin Kaymer has won two on Tigers watch. Not the most household of names in golf. Tiger is clearly one of the best historically and will win again, maybe a lot. He'll win on the senior tour too, if he chooses to play on it, all the young guys do.
I'm not going to say that Tiger wins "this" Masters but he will win again. Despite his transgressions and body struggles, he is still the best in the game. Who else can take all that time off and do what he has done so far on tour this year. David Duval?? Not a chance. People like to not like him, but realistically he IS one of the best EVER.
66 .
The 5th place B1G team was 25-30 minutes from being the national champion. That's bang worthy! Where were the top four? Out in the round of 32 or the sweet 16. The boys earned this in ways we have not seen in a while. So, who had fun? I DID!
I'll start rebounding.
2nd that. Natty is only for ice or light. I will however consume everything in sight if they win, including subs. It'll be crazy! #GoBlue
You could move. I hear there is a nice park in the Canadian Maritime provinces with plenty of business opportunities, 24 hour security, lots of really nice people and a cat resort.
No reason not to. There are three halves to this season remaining. Time to take the bull by the horns and control your destiny.
Yes it's time for JB to put Wagner and Teske on the floor at the same time. This team can't defend that.
Question to my favorite commercial beer What exactly was Ole Miss winning? I looked at the previous SEC and National Champions and I found names like Florida, Alabama, Georgia, LSU but not Mississippi.
I am. I betting my livers is gonna be feeling it.
I heard there is one. It's at the Alamodome.
I AM ENTERTAINED!
