No, and if you still have

No, and if you still have your student ID (and anyone you're going with does too), just find a drunk looking sorority girl 30 minutes before game time and you'll get the tickets for 5-15 each.  Especially the early games, the freshman can't pace themselves.

I asked him on twitter where

I asked him on twitter where he was interested in visiting next and he said he's going to be making a few visits to the California schools just because they're close.  I get the feeling his recruitment is very open at this point.

No.  But I'd be willing to

No.  But I'd be willing to pay $5 a month for ESPN, ESPN2, BTN, AMC, and Comedy Central.  That's all I watch. $25 rather than paying $65 for an extra 62 channels I never watch.

Delaney picked up Rutgers to

Delaney picked up Rutgers to get into the NYC market.  If, suddenly, people can pick and choose which tv channels they want, the Rutgers pickup will only add the 12,000 hardcore Rutgers fans to the BTN rolls.  Not 12,000,000 New Yorkers who really don't care about the Big Ten.

It is a plant that is now

It is a plant that is now legal to use in many US states.  We'll look back on this suspension in five to ten years when marijuana is legal and regulated like cigarettes and laugh.  Imagine reading a story from 1995 about a player suspended for smoking some cigarettes or drinking alcohol.  Oh the humanity!  How many people does alcohol kill every year?  How many car accidents does it cause?  How many fights and abusive relationships involve it?  Insane.  You get more jail time for growing a plant than beating your wife.

Is this an effort by cable

Is this an effort by cable companies to force people to stick with the hundred-channel packages?  Who in God's name watches anything on TBS?  I couldn't tell you what channel # that is at my apartment.  Why doesn't some company set up a deal where you pay a premium for the 5 channels you actually watch?  Why, as a 26-year old male, am I forced to pay for Lifetime and OWN?  It makes no sense whatsoever.  Also, if that did happen, Delaney should be strung up in a Big Ten town square as it completely defeats the purpose of bringing in *shudder* Rutgers.

The union members in the

The union members in the state would probably be quite unhappy when we played Purdue.  Penn State would be an interesting matchup.

What, the "problem" that is

What, the "problem" that is legal in multiple states?  Geez, what a society we live in right now where possessing and/or using a plant will get you more jail time than beating your wife.  So what, he smoked a little.  Frank Clark was arrested... if anyone he'd be worried (though big deal, he looks like he's going to be a very good player and it was a crappy laptop).

It really is the best $16

It really is the best $16 handle you can buy.  Don't let any alcohol snobs tell you otherwise, R&R will hang with any overpriced brand out there!

Rich and Rare and Root Beer.

Rich and Rare and Root Beer.  Is there anything on TV?  I'm all hockey-ed out, don't care for the NBA, and haven't followed Game of Thrones.  Currently stuck on Anthony Bourdain... which is fine but not great.  Also, I just got HBO so does anyone know when Boardwalk comes back?

Ok... if that is true, why

Ok... if that is true, why did he leave his feet afterwards?  It's not like he just decided to do a little "hop of happiness" because he made a nice check.  It shows that, at least, his momentum and propulsion were projected in an upwards motion during the hit.  Now, if we want to get into the legal technicalities of how "leaving the feet" is defined in the rulebook, that's fine.  But to me, it at least shows that he had a similar intent as if he had left his feet before the hit.  I don't think the league is specifically saying that a player leaving his feet before a hit makes the hit more dangerous... it is showing that, by leaving his feet, the player is demostrating his intent to not just hit, but to damage the other player.  Perhaps the "after hit hop" and extension of his arms after the hit demostrate this mal-intent.

After the Senators suspension

After the Senators suspension he HAD to issue a suspension on this one.  The Senators hit was absolutely clean and perfect... never should have considered a suspension except that (1) blood on ice, (2) stretcher, (3) Gary B. was in attendance.  The Abdelkader hit could warrant a suspension, but after the idiotic decision with the Senators' hit... he HAD to suspend him because it was obviously worse.  He DID leave his feet, hit the Ducks player's head, and extended his arms afterwards.  The Senators player didn't do any of that and HE got 2 games.  They are the ones with the real gripe here.  But hey, I don't like suspensions at all... penalties are fine with me.

"I'm not about to leave my

"I'm not about to leave my $500 phone with all sorts of info and data on it in my car when there are hundreds of thousands (or millions?) of phones being stolen every year" ...wut?  Is Seattle that dangerous?  I've never had an issue with anyone messing with my car and I leave a GPS / iPod in there all the time, sometime I'll leave other semi-valuable items.  Unless it's a really shady area I doubt you'd have a problem unless it is hidden... I'm more worried about a $20,000 car getting stolen than a $400 laptop.  Although I am suprised how many idiots there are who are willing to risk prison time for a $100 phone.  If I'm risking jail time, I'm going to at least make some real money.

I'd take the under.  After

I'd take the under.  After hearing him speak I can't say I'm impressed; he sounded... dumb.  I really can't put it any other way.  Plus, I doubt he was doing much work at all in terms of "school".   WVU probably isn't a challenging place to be an athlete in terms of academics.

It's a form of expression and

It's a form of expression and art.  I love mine and I know many others who do too.  I hate when people rag on tattoos.  It's one of the few things that is socially acceptable to attack for no reason.  Make fun of someone for their significant-other, style of dress, hairstyle, etc and society will usually turn on the bully.  With tattoos, it's an all out assault.

Gosh, I love the arrogance of

Gosh, I love the arrogance of some Michigan fans.  You realize Southerners can make fun of Michigan too, right?  I mean Ann Arbor is located between the wonderful towns of Detroit and Toledo, Ohio.  Wow.  I mean, those two cities are the most attractive, awesome, and desirable cities to visit and live in.  I guess we can also throw Flint in and hey, 2 of the top 5 murder capitals of the US all within an hour drive!  Note: In response to MSUDad's comments about Lubbock and College station... don't know why my comment was pushed down here.

Because you're an 18 year old

Because you're an 18 year old male who doesn't care about education, wants to go to as few classes as possible, get as much assistance as possible, wants nice weather, and hot girls.  Plus, your arrogance may be blinding you, but Southern college towns are actually really nice and aren't getting snow in mid-April.

Cool!  What a great use of

Cool!  What a great use of taxpayer money!  Good thing Georgia public schools are tops in the nation already and there a no other more significant needs in the entire state.  Exactly what is wrong with the Georgia Dome?  It opened in 1992 for God's sake!

Has Adidas done anything well

Has Adidas done anything well with Michigan?  Honestly.  Has anyone ever thought to themselves, "Wow, that _______ is impressive.  Good job Adidas!"  Well, they do pay lots of $?  Ah, I guess that's the only thing that matters in college sports now, so as long as they keep the money flowing...

First team to make a true

First team to make a true camo uniform (I'm talking head-to-toe) wins my allegiance.  Can you imagine hunting season?  I'd just be playing safety in the Pennsylvania backwoods chasing me down some deer!

Yeah, Christians are EVIL!

Yeah, Christians are EVIL!  Seriously, I'd love to see this type of vitrol spewed against a Jewish or Muslim player.  "Yeah, Sam Green will have a great career swindling his community out of their retirement money just like Bernie Madoff!"

Ha, this is one time that the

Ha, this is one time that the purpose of the internet message board is defeated.  "He does not deserve to be an NFL quarterback..." well, apparently 2 GMs, 2 coaches, and 2 teams have thought that he is deserving so far.  He's already won a playoff game, which is more than Stafford can say (oh, but he threw for like 17,567 yards so obviously he's just awesome... let's forget he threw late interceptions while Tebow threw touchdowns in his appearance).  I'm betting a 3rd GM, coach and team will pick him up.  But WE know better, right?

I get that.  But it is

I get that.  But it is misplaced anger.  Tebow hasn't done anything wrong, ESPN has.  Tebow would be dumb to turn down interviews, face time, etc.  But don't fault him for ESPN's fauning.  Turn off ESPN and don't turn it on again until gametime.  It's the best thing I ever did.  ESPN is the background noise of commentary.  When was the last time ESPN told you something you didn't already know?  Use the internet and sport-specific channels to streamline the information you want to acquire.  Am I going to be watching the NFL network in June?  Hell no, but I'll watch it 24/7 over draft weekend.  Plus, I can avoid commentary about the NBA which I don't care for.  The allure of ESPN has been lost on me.  Perhaps it was the 6-hour Sportscenter marathons of my youth which endeared me to that bastard Berman and the rest of the crew, but I've given up on ESPN as a news source.

Oh yes, I'm sure that

Oh yes, I'm sure that whatever culture you're professing to protect was perfectly insulated from the outside world and now big bad Tebow is going to come rain down American hellfire and Christianity, destroying them completely.  Pretty dumb reason to hate someone.  Everyone tries to convince everyone else to follow their way of thinking (think advertisements, politics, sports, etc) why is Tebow so terrible?  Because he's Christian and it's cool to be biased against all things Christian and/or America in the hipster/hippie cirlces?  Why don't you go back to your coffee shop and finish working on that useless Sociology thesis.  Don't forget to bring your non-prescription glasses and fair-trade scarf. I'd advise you to read this and buy the book rather than simply getting all your knowledge from the Huffington Post: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns,_Germs,_and_Steel

Yeah, fuck him for that.  I'm

Yeah, fuck him for that.  I'm glad that I only root for players who spend their time usefully in the offseason.  They stimulate the economy by throwing wads of cash at strippers, provide jobs for police officers by getting DUIs, support numerous women's shelters by battering their wives and girlfriends, stimulate population growth by having literally dozens of children out of wedlock, ensure societal norms are respected by hitting and killing jay-walkers, and even ask us to re-evaluate state and local laws by shooting themselves with illegal weapons in night clubs.  Fuck Tim Tebow for spreading religion in a non-forceful way while also doing some good for a poor community; what an asshole.

How do the Jets have a

How do the Jets have a fanbase?  Honestly, their biggest "name" and still "face-of-the-organization" is an alcoholic 65 year old man.  They have to compete with the Giants, who even with Coughlin, manage to produce.  Then they have Boston a few miles to the North.  Or, if the people would prefer, a similarly hapless, though more successful franchise in Buffalo.  Or, only an hour away, the always-close but no cigar Eagles.  What is the draw to the Jets?

Judging from his past tweets,

Judging from his past tweets, it looks like Michigan is in the driver's seat.  he was definitatly watching the tournament, so the basketball team's success helped football!  i just hope this is a michigan-lean tweet and not a "I'll decide between stanford and Michigan" tweet.

haha, i like "you're TALL"!

haha, i like "you're TALL"!  i believed it until "yo mo"... that was too outlandish.  although did anyone see what Florida has set up for their recruits?  really embarassing.

haha, agreed. I'm driving in

haha, agreed. I'm driving in from Ohio Sunday.  Thinking I'll spend the morning at camp then dip out for lunch and to explore a little, then head back for the end.  I think that's when they'll giving giving grades and you can see the recruits up close.  I'll be wearing something Maize and Blue so look for me
