Made waffles for the fam this morning (Mrs. Bluenote and the puppy). Chilling for a little bit while she teaches a piano lesson, then taking the pup for a SxS 4 wheeler ride to a really nice leash-free dog park nearby. Home in plenty of time for the game and some serious shucking of cornhuskers.
My wife, who knows zilch about college football, was sitting with me at the end of that game. She asked if that interview was the OSU coach. I said yes and then she asked “Is he just an ass?”
Traded a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L and 4.10 rear gearing in for a 2022 Chevy Traverse. We got rid of our 11K pound 5th wheel and I couldn't justify driving around at 11-12 mpg non-towing with a 75 mile round trip daily commute. The Traverse gets more than double that for mileage and will still tow our Kawasaki Teryx4 SxS on a landscape trailer just fine, with a better ride and a lot more passenger space. Drove another Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the diesel prior to the gas guzzler and that was a fun drive...shocked a lot of people at red lights when they got the crazy idea to drag race a big truck...torque wins that battle most of the time (that diesel might have had a performance chip making it a 400hp, 800tq monster).
p.s. The most fun one to drive in my whole story is that side by side Kawasaki...wheeeeeee!
Another vote for Better Call Saul, especially if you were a fan of Breaking Bad. Great character development and shows a lot of backstory for many characters.
I also have been enjoying the Mandalorian, but I'm a Star Wars nerd. The protagonist is flawed, yet totally badass.
Don Rickles was always a great guest. Another one who always had Johnny in tears laughing was Rodney Dangerfield. Being a musician myself, I always enjoyed when they had a musical guest and you got to enjoy the fantastic band with Doc Severinsen. The 2nd to last episode (last with guests) was legendary. Robin Williams was his normal manic, comedic self and Bette Midler hit it out of the park.
You may think it proved your point but that just further shows you missed mine completely. You made a concrete statement which is just flat out wrong. I even quoted you to show what I was responding to. Feel free to pontificate further if it makes you feel better but when you state something subjectively, you should be prepared to be called out for it.
Let me be clear, I realize we have an issue in this country and something should most definitely be done to address the issue.
NCAA: We know multiple institutions have thrown bags of cash at recruits and provided other legally questionable benefits but dammit Jim, how do you explain buying committed recruits a burger?
