Everyone has assumed that Gary is going Michigan for so long that it feels like he signed weeks ago. So when he actually does sign I fear it may be a little anticlimactic for me.

Wiltfong

Is saying that Clemson has a real shot to land Gary. 'Fong usually refrains from bull shitting, so I generally take him at his word. I'm hoping that he got some bum info somewhere regarding Gary's impending decision. I also read that Rashon's mother said something to the effect of, "if signing day was today, Rashon would announce that he's not ready to make his decision yet... That's how tight it is right now". I may not get much sleep tonight.

One of the best coaches in football

describes Harbaugh pretty well. Attempting to annoint him "the best" will require some titles... Just sayin'.

I'll be ready to proclaim that UM is back

when we can beat at least 1 of our 2 main rivals. Until then - We're rebuilding (with a good coach this time).

Why wouldn't you want to be (fill in the blank)

Is what every fan believes about their team. I think Gary will ultimately be a Wolverine, but let's not dismiss Dabo just yet. Remember when we thought we had a chance to land Fuller, even though we didn't have 1 crystal ball projected for UM? Gary has at least 1 ball for Clemson, so I guess they have a real shot if we're using the same logic as we did with the Fuller situation.

I love Lou

just can't stomach him when he goes on rants about OSU and/or Meyer and how great they are.

I thought you were describing Detroit

for a second there.

There are a sh*t load

of Buckeye fans in the Carolina's too. It's annoying to say the least.

I agree

Although, crazy may not be right word. Maybe more socially awkward than flat-out crazy.

Some say

that Jim's family had to "talk him into" taking the Michigan job... I'm not saying that I believe it, only that it exists as an idea out there.

This doesn't help his perception

From ESPN

“He is an extremely weird guy,” said four-star tackle Liam Eichenberg, who was pursued by all three of the Big Ten powers before choosing Notre Dame. “He couldn’t really hold a conversation. He just kept on talking about, ‘You’re so lucky to have this opportunity.’ I kind of felt like he was just talking to himself.”

Nice. Stuff like this is just strengthening the outsider perception that JH is insane.

I thought Onwenu

was a lock to be a Wolverine?

Pulp Fiction was/is epic

Other greats - Boyz in the Hood, Requiem for a Dream, etc...

Or...

He could have take the recent Natty's into account. Admit it, if we had won a few Natty's in the last dozen years or so, our staff would be selling the shit out of that. Underestimating an enemy is a mortal mistake.

Honestly

Fuller seems like an intelligent kid. Can't blame him for being woo'd by Urban and that ridiculously expensive facility. I was REALLY hoping that he would choose the good guys as opposed to going to the dark side. Oh well, march on.

I enjoyed the Revenant

Seems like a lock to pick up some hardware.

Some asshole

from California is saying that he has "insider knowledge" that Onwenu is struggling with the idea of committing to U-M. I don't know why, we have the best academics + athletics in the country. Any kid who thinks differently is clearly being misled.

I miss Hoke's

ability to smash an entire family bucket of KFC.
