Am I the only one who feels like we're one special teams mishap away from being right up there in the top 5 conversations right now? We were leading Sparty for 60 minutes of that game... :(
Anyways, 9-2 so far, exceeded my expectations for the year. I wanna see us kick tOSU while they're down.
I can hear that crazy chick on ESPN, Jemele Hill??, the MSU grad, going off about how great they've been all season. And that they still get no respect and are playing with a bag of chips on their shoulder.
Junior year of HS. I ran a post route at football practice into another receiver running a post route from the opposite direction. We hit knees, I sat out for three weeks. Played the last 4 games of the season, with the broken kneecap. Had surgery after football, they scoped it and put screws in from the side to hold the pieces in. Went through some PT, and it's been relatively pain free since.
I went from peewee to HS, our class went 49-5(losing once every year, except soph. year lost twice) over the four years we were in high school. Mostly special teams guy sophomore and junior year with some extra playing time as a junior. Started both ways as a senior at HB/CB, I was a small guy at 5-6, 135lbs, but managed to make plays every now and then. Ended up second leading tackler on the team and second leading rusher, first team all conference, hon. mention all district. Have 3 brother-in-laws that played college, 2 at smaller D2 schools, and 1 who played CB at Akron. He has some good stories like covering Lee Evans in Wisconsin, and trying to defend against Michael Vick down at Va Tech.
Restructure him to a 1 year deal, the only way he gets a second or more years is if he gets a B1G championship next year. He would bring in a whole new defensive staff, the recruits he had would stay or even recommit, and Denard would probably win the Heisman(but would be second team B1G).
Let's wait and see if he gets his test scores up, otherwise, it looks like he won't qualify. The article said that he just retook his ACT on Dec. 4, so the results probably aren't back yet. If all comes back good it looks like he'll be a descent pickup, a little small but he must be pretty athletic.
That's exactly what I've been thinking. If we didn't have any turnovers, that would eliminate the 10 or 17 points that Illinois had off of ours. And then, what if we actually created some turnovers and got some points off of those. Very dangerous indeed.

I watch all my sports online, First Row Sports. Once you get past all the pop-ups it works really well, and there's usually more than one stream.

Brock Mealer was told that there was a 99% chance that he'd never walk again. The doctors were WRONG, and I think America's WRONG.
