Like many above I always try to find a local brewery or pub for food and drinks. I try to get out and take a walk in the evening to explore and look around whatever city or area I'm in. National parks, state parks, city parks and riverfronts are also favorites of mine when I am able to get to them. Visiting a college campus and stadium is always fun. My favorite so far was Boise State and the blue turf. Of course there is always work to be done as well.
That Liverpool and Roma are in the semi-final. I think Liverpool and their attack wins today at Anfield. Roma has been pretty bad on the road. The key will be can they keep Roma from getting the all important away goal.
My wife and I are in the Grand Rapids area as well. The Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan is a great resource and a great way to connect with other families!! My wife is way more plugged in than I am and it has been really good for her. We've participated in young athletes through the Special Olympics already with our son. I would be happy to pass on our contact information if you ever have any questions or just need to talk.
I remember how scared and overwhelmed we were when our son was born. It's good to hear you've received so much encouragement!! The Down syndrome community is full of amazing support. Wishing you and your wife all the best and praying all goes well with his heart condition.
I posted below too but wanted to say congratulations dad to dad of a son with Down Syndrome. Things will be very overwhelming at first but I promise things do settle down. I'm so happy to hear you say the sadness turned to excitement within an hour. Your son will take you on an incredible journey!! I'm only a few years into mine and can't believe how much I've been changed and blessed by my son.
On the new addition to your family. My youngest son who will be 3 in March has Down syndrome and we had a birth diagnosis as well. I know how scary it can be to receive that news when your child is born. Your nephew will be an amazing and wonderful addition to your family and will bless you in ways you can't even imagine yet. Now I can't imagine life without Down syndrome. Congratulations again and enjoy loving on that little guy.
This is greatly appreciated because I'm not able to follow Michigan soccer nearly as much as I'd like. I hope that you are able to do more in season recaps as well.
The OL was starting to come together last season and we need guys to step up at the skill postions now. Someone needs to take RB postion and a couple of the WR's will need to break out.
I agree it's not from lack of effort or caring but there just seems to be a huge disconnect and the players aren't getting it. Your rational and insightful responses are appreciated. Meant in response to Space's answer.
The team should be getting better and for whatever reason they aren't. Is this coaching? Is it the players? At some point improvement needs to be seen.
Yes I'm confident but JB needs to use these next few games to get the defense in order and pick the freshman up a bit. Getting Morgan back healthy will be a big boost. I think the team just needs to get a little confidence back.
I agree they are hardly the same team on the road but the same can be said for almost every team. Sometimes I wonder if we are to quick to blame the "home cooking".
Morgan is a steady presence on the interior who always seems to be in the right position and is a very underrated defender in my opinion. That being said McGary is going to be something special.
Craft makes me nervous; he's the one guy who can get Burke off his game. Burke needs to let the game come to him and facilitate the offense instead of making it a personal challege with Craft. Michigan wins 76-70.
Now I just need to get to 100 points in order to vote. I think the idea of having a list of players to choose from is a good idea. It shouldn't be limited to 1 athlete per sport.

Another vote for Glacier. Sad the wildfires did so much damage last summer.
Each park has its own unique features and our country is pretty remarkable when it comes to natural beauty.

Meaning much more than the game obviously
48-6 Michigan
Charity: Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan
It was a handball but then call everything else as well. Just a sour ending to a great half.
A classic clean look. Maroon and gold is also pretty good.
I like that it's more of a clean classic look. I'm also glad they got rid of the soccer ball.
It was my senior year and we won 1-0. I scored the game winning goal with 5 seconds left.

I thought we always finished 2nd
really driven anything big; probably our Yukon XL or a 15 passenger van.
Currently ride a Yamaha R6
should be a requirement; learned on an old Nisaan and currently own a 2011 Mazda 3 Sport Hatchback with a 6-speed
graduate as well; great to see local kids wear the Maize and Blue.

It's official; Harbaugh Muppets!!
that most recruits still haven't been affected by the results on the field but that isn't going to last long.
The tears started flowing as soon as Seton Hall's last second attempt fell harmlessly
Anyone know if the game is televised at all?
At least we can see improvement on the defensive side of the ball.

Do you feel there needs to be a change in coaching? As you stated earlier it seems the message/coaching just isn't hitting home.

We are a good team but we have some major issues. Those issues don't just go away when we play at home or a neutral site.
I'm still having a hard time finding any silver linings after that debacle.
I agree they are hardly the same team on the road but the same can be said for almost every team. Sometimes I wonder if we are to quick to blame the "home cooking".
Was it really that bad or are we just looking at it through tinted glasses? I was unable to see most of the game so just curious.
Finally a uniform well done

the NCAA is a joke but at least they punished Ohio with something. It was more than many were expecting.
It really is a shame so many people inside the program were working against it.
Good luck at ESPN and we look forward to your continued coverage of Michigan recruiting.
plenty of room in the Michigan family for Jarrod
our thoughts and prayers are with you.
w/ MGoSoftball; no mascot for me
Brian to you and your bride
Was anyone close to committing?
Mr. Richardson; looking forward to watching you shut down receivers over the next few years.
A CB/QB pair sounds just fine to me. Hoke continues to impress.
Hope you have a long and successful career. Time for everyone else to step up their games and take this team to the next level.
