FWIW. Michigan doesn't seem inclined to get re-involved.

By contrast, I believe the asinine behavior is to give the team no credit for what they did today. Agree to disagree.
|33 weeks 6 days ago||After this season,||
that basically was a win...sorry if you were watching a different game than the rest of us. I remain ridiculously proud of how well, and how hard, the team played today.

Eichorst basically said they're not firing him. Which yay, I for one would miss seeing his studly face every weekend.
|33 weeks 6 days ago||Unbelievably proud.||
Recruits at the game have to be excited to have the chance to play in this rivalry. It's great to be a Michigan wolverine!

I am neither busy nor important. I thought the post (summary of previous points or not) was a nice balm on my Michigan wounds, though I'm sure that'll fade the farther I read in the comments...
|34 weeks 6 days ago||Yeah, it's awful. I try to||
Yeah, it's awful. I try to stay away from Twitter/Instagram after games exactly for this reason - people are hateful when they're anonymous and behind a keyboard, and seeing the vitriol in your own fanbase sucks. They're college kids. I'm sure some of us say this stuff in our living rooms, but it's a whole other snakelike evil thing to say something directly to them.
|34 weeks 6 days ago||I don't think it's||
I don't think it's meaningless. Gardner has, more than once this season, acknowledged the hateful things people say to him/the team via social media. (Jeremy Gallon actually fights with people on Instagram, which. Stop that, Jeremy Gallon.) Anyway my point is, I'm sure the supportive stuff is at least nice to read.
|34 weeks 6 days ago||I second this||
Is it really possible no one gets fired? What excuse can Hoke/Brandon possibly make for Borges at this point?

then your opinion counts extra too. Paint with all the colors of the wind.
Edited to add: I hate you a little for "accidentally" BQ-ing. Which is to say, congratulations on being awesome.

and I have boobs, so my opinion counts extra.

Thanks. My demeanor wasn't aggressive, but I'd say yours was more than a little defensive. Always lovely talking to you gentlemen.
It's certainly possible he researched it. My concern lies mostly in the fact that soon nearly all of their time - and that's not an exaggeration - will be spent in class and at practice and games. You wouldn't get a dog in those conditions (well you might, but it wouldn't be fair to the dog), and a pig is arguably more work. I don't think it's an unfounded topic of conversation. I wanted to know if anyone shared those concerns. Apparently, the answer is no.
|1 year 8 weeks ago||Am I the only one concerned||
Am I the only one concerned for the pig? Because I really doubt he did any research? And they're really smart and live for a long time? Just me?

Ah yes. I have heard that one too. Not sure how likely it is, I get the sense Barry's pretty happy.

would miss hating him. Plus his crazy Michigan quotes keep me laughing/motivated in the off-season.
|1 year 33 weeks ago||I'm from Madison||
and my entire family went to Wisconsin, so take this input for what it's worth (which may not be much). There aren't many people who are super interested in Darrell Bevell as a candidate. Most people I've spoken to would die for Chryst to come back and while he released a statement tonight about his "commitment" to the Pitt program, it seemed to me a carefully worded statement that did not at any point reaffirm his desire to stay there. (Apparently his buyout is substantial, not sure how much that matters.) Doeren is a popular choice but the ink isn't dry on his NC State contract; Diaco (Notre Dame's defensive coordinator) is a name I've also heard, and on various ESPN boards people have also suggested Pelini, though I really can't imagine that's a very realistic option.

This is the first time I can remember being truly ambivalent about Michigan's bowl game. Just meh. This day was deflating and awful and I'm concerned that next season won't be any better. /debbie downer

The only real trash talk I heard today was about how this isn't much of a rivalry anymore. 10/12 is a statistic that's difficult to argue with.
