As someone who grew up with season tickets to Lawson for years but went to school in Ann Arbor, I can't imagine putting Lawson above Yost. That's ridiculous. But, that said, I think there's a special kind of hate that comes from the inferiority complex endemic to Bronco fans. When you get 4,000 people in there burning to beat Michigan or MSU, it's a pretty cool atmosphere that you don't usually feel at Michigan just due to the history, entitlement and so on. I'm not being sarcastic or snide, I really mean this. |

Well, sort of. Over Thanksgiving I got to hear the awkward story from grandpa again about how they saw the black people moving closer to their house off Jefferson and decided it was time to high-tail it out of the city... Obviously the schools are a big factor, too. |

Another would be all the vacant land around Temple street north of I-75 west of Woodward. Sort of a bridge from downtown to midtown. While an arena would be great, especially if it brings the Pistons back downtown, I'm more interested to hear about the proposed residential and commerical development attached to this. It takes actual people and businesses to build a city. |
| 41 weeks 6 days ago | As stated, Buffalo Billiards |
As stated, Buffalo Billiards is close to you but definitely a "fresh from graduation" experience. Can be a blast if they win and you're up for that atmosphere, otherwise head elsewhere. Bailey's in VA is another official UM bar with a much more...mature?...atmosphere and right off the Orange line (Ballston). |
