ohio kids have been pretty significant contributors to their success. The difference is they go to State and get better and become significant.

counseling and workplace health services has the same loopholes. They don't care about your health they just want access to your records.

Damon Bailey was an Indiana recruit from 8th grade. That was in the 80's.

did this at State one year. Said his players had to earn the luxury.
For me it embarrassing to see how good these kids have it these days.

with people I realized later were basically Dave Brandon only their bullshit was found out way sooner and before they could do any lasting damage.
Hopefully Michigan can recover and move on.

they couldn't turn Ferry Field into a soccer venue instead of building on way out on State Street.
Cool backdrop with some history, but space in that area has always been very limited.

baseball players hit the roof over the years. Otherwise an ugly building that always looked out of place compared to Michigan's other athletic facilities. Long overdue.

has always been the young, hot name expected to do great things. Some of it due to being an Izzo disciple. Eventually those people get older and either they've done what others thought, or they just sort of fade off considered a mild disappointment.
In Crean's case I think he'll be the latter. He's a good, not great coach. Kind of a lunatic at times and plays in the ultra competitive Big Ten and while he may be in the hotbed of Indiana the Hoosiers no longer automatically get the best players from that State every year. See MSU's roster, see UM's roster, see OSU recent rosters.
He very well could win a couple Big Ten's down the road and might have a decent tournament run or two. But I think his ceiling is way, way lower than what some expected. Good coach, not great.

today have sold their souls for the big donor money. In return they teach the curriculum the donor wants, most typically the kind that only results in making big money.
We have simply destroyed our true educational system for the whims of the multimillionaire/billionaire class who see education of the masses as a threat to their personal fortunes.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Saw a study that||
concludes nearly 10% of all private liberal arts colleges will be forced to close within the next two decades.
In Michigan the 3 most in danger are Olivet, Albion and Alma. All 3 have massive discounting of tuition at unsustainable levels.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||I don't know why||
but I blame ESPN for convincing people there has to be 3 people in the booth to broadcast games.
I liked Mario and Rod. Rod is excellent about 95% of the time, 5% goofball. Mario just has a solid no nonsense delivery.
I was not impressed with Jack last fall, don't know about Gibby don't think I've ever heard him in the booth. This all seems very unnecessary unless Rod is out the door after this year and replaced by one of the other two.

Unless you do outdoor hockey every 4 years.
